My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Engaging suspense
Secrets at the Cafe is an intriguing mystery read with interesting characters and suspenseful writing. Karina has been thrust into a life not of her choosing. Her grandmother’s dying wish was for her to take over her cafe. This one decision leads to an unpredictable adventure with a missing journal and a possible treasure hunt. This author always knows how to deliver a multilayered story with a captivating narrative and vivid imagery. Recommend.
