The art work is beautiful, I love the characters and the story is an excellent lesson for children. Cray may have been having fun pinching and teasing his friends, but they did not like it. I love that the friends all come together in the end to show Cray their support. At the end for “Cray’s takeaways”, these are important lessons to teach children in regards to their friendships and how to treat people in general.

This is only book one and I am so ready for more from this author! This story was so easy to dive into and not stop. Kai has a brother that sends her to a consulting firm for a film she is directing. Little did she know she’d end up making a Navy Seal rethink his whole future with the company.
Kai is the person you’d want on your side. Her Kubrickisms as the team like to call them are so hilarious. Especially if you have spent time around military people. She ends up spouting off without thinking, without realizing and gets herself involved with Waters.
Waters is the rough, tough, GI Joe type who is trying to not catch feelings. When feelings end up catching him anyways. I love the dynamic of the team they have built up and how the author did such an amazing job at keeping it pretty accurate in how teams like that are.
This story was hard to put down as I wanted to know more and wanted to find out if Waters had come to his senses or not. This story did not disappoint at all.

Cray is a crabby crab until one day an (un)fortunate accident occurs. Cray is all of a sudden not so crabby and Ray, Hay, and Fay enjoy their friendship even more!
Super cute book that is full of rhymes. A great lap book for grandparents or parents with their littles! Very colorful and engaging illustrations as well!

I also loved Riley and Cole, both are such captivating characters right off the bat. I just wish it was a little bit longer! I definitely enjoyed this quick read, and plan on delving further into this series!

What a wonderfully complex story. It has a slow start but once it gets going I was completely hooked. This is a fantasy story with romance and a lot of suspense. I was held captive while reading and struggled to put this one down. The world building is phenomenally done. The different layers of fae and how they all interact was superbly done. I was excited to meet new and figure out their powers and how they are involved. How everything someone says or does has an underlying reason or hidden agenda would drive me crazy because the characters have to always be on their toes and thinking of different angles. Tiring for me but great for the story.
The female MC impressed me immensely. She is portrayed as meek and a follower but once she makes her move she is the complete opposite. Her growth is huge! Watching her change and learn for every situation always left me wondering what can’t she do. The answer is Nothing! She has learned from her family more than she ever thought she did.

Song of Earth and Claws (Faelands Series) by Lena Abram. This is a fae, romance and it is loaded with information that you need to know but kind of bogged down the first little bit of the book. You have to really pay attention to keep all the players in line and where they fit into the story. The romance part focuses on Lannahi and Ashared. Lannahi is in the game to become the leader and the games are a big part of the story. Lannahi doesn’t want to be leader but for the sake of her family she has to try and being betrayed by someone she though was her friend is heartbreaking. Lannahi is afraid she has taken on more than she can handle but she also knows if she doesn’t at least try she and her family will be destroyed. There are all kinds of danger around every corner including, fantasy, romance, fae, shape shifters and mystery, Its a deep book but if you stick with it you will enjoy the games and seeing if Lannahi can save herself and her people and marry the love of her life which is all she really wants!

Deliciously dark & sinfully twisted ! Delightfully depraved ! Enjoyin this book so thoroughly was it’s own guilty pleasure . Honestly everything King was doing to Ava was working for me too lol even though I felt the same indignance at his outrageous audacity , it was workiiiiing for meeeee ! I LOVE their ending & that the villainry stayed strong . The artful exploration of their humanity behind their desires is a true gem . I also very quickly & suddenly discovered that I might have a THING for Oliver & the word darling dripping from his viciously delicious lips . my fingers are very tightly crossed hoping he gets his own story lol. Loved this duet & I will happily devour anything this author creates .

This is a quick-paced prequel in the Hidden Valley series. The book is a dual-POV book, with alternating chapters featuring Riley and Cole. The two storylines are both interesting and intriguing and overlap in a unique way. Both characters have their own struggles to deal with and the book leaves you wondering how their connection, while brief, will continue into the next book in the series. This quick read was written well and definitely leads to wanting to find out more from the series. Will Riley have to pick up and move again? Will Cole be able to get through the tragedy that he faces at the end of the book and can he ever forgive his dad’s behavior? These are just some of the questions that you will be left wondering at the end of this book. Onto the next book to hopefully find out these answers and more.

Good Enough, by Nicole Craig is the first book in the Deadman’s Tribe series and it is a brilliant start to this new series, I really enjoyed it and devoured it in two days. The story follows Hollywood movie director Kai as she tries to get her newest project off the ground, when her brother suggests that she enlist the help of his colleagues to aid in the specialist SEAL knowledge, she meets Waters and he is tasked with helping not only with the movie but also keeping Kai safe from an unknown threat. I really liked this book, the character of Kai is brilliant and is definitely not a damsel in distress, I have started using her colourful language in my daily life. Waters is the epitome of the hero, a brooding soul who is haunted by his past. The story was fast paced and had lots of intrigue, I am really looking forward to book two to learn more about the team.

A New Day For Cray is a fun, bright and colourful 18 page picture book by G Pa Rhymes about a crab named Cray. Erica Leigh illustrations are beautiful and wonderfully done and make the story come to life. It is full of unique and colourful characters and the narrative rhymes along. It is a good story with a message for all to learn. Journey along with Cray and his friends as he learns the true meaning of kindness and how you should treat others. Children will love this book just as my grandsons did.

Cray is a crab who lives on the bay with his friends, but Cray has a bad habit, he likes to pinch and tease people and he has a routine everyday of where he goes, who he sees, who he pinches and who he teases, but his friends don’t like it very much.
One day when Cray sets off on his routine, his friends Hay, Ray and Fay are wise to him and decide to stop letting him pinch them, instead, they decide to teach Cray about friendship and how it isn’t all about pinching and teasing, but instead about kindness, generosity and love, but will Cray learn the lessons, or will his unkind ways remain?
This is a fun filled, bright and educational book which teaches important things in an interactive and exciting way and is suitable for anyone who wants to smile and learn all at the same time.

This is the fifth book in the Relic Hunters series. As a lover of history this series has been a favourite of mine since book 1. The author does an incredible job of mixing history with adventure. Their attention to detail in every area really brings history to life and I love being transported back in time. In this book we mainly deal with Greek history and mythology and the surprising realisation that not all myths are stories. Some are actually true. Adam and Matt face their biggest challenge to date as they have to go alone to solve the mystery of what happened to their day. Without the help of their team or equipment the odds are really stacked against them. With people taking other the museum, trying to take all the things they have preserved from history and secrets and lies being unravel the brothers are not stuck with not knowing who they can trust. Can they even trust their own team mates or boss. Or is their boss hiding more secrets from them. This is a fast paced story as the brothers race against time to solve the mystery of what happened to their dad, while facing the the myths and legends from Greek Mythology and if that is not enough they are seen as outlaws and their old friends and team mates are tasked with stopping them from completing their tasks and getting to the truth. This book is an enjoyable read for young adults and old adults alike. The story is captivating and full of twists and turns that keep me on the edge of my seat. Once you start this series you will not be able to stop reading it.

This set of 4 novellas was lighthearted and witty and the perfect quick read. A great romance series following Bella as she explores the journey to find herself again after the end of her fairly boring relationship with her soon-to-be ex-husband. I had many laughs (and some gasps, too) as she navigated the new-to-her single and dating scene. Each novella follows Bella and her dating a different guy, mostly found through a dating site. I enjoyed these quick books and would easily find myself reading the other ones as they are released (there will be 13 total!). With many more men in Bella’s future, it is sure to be entertaining to read.

This is the first time I have read anything by this author. I will be honest at the start of this book it was very triggering for me. It’s a lot of traumatic events at the beginning and it kept making not want to read it. That being said, I continued because I really wanted to know what happened to Marcy. There is so much violence that has happened to her. There are two men who have won her heart and she now has the difficult task of picking the right man. There are a lot of sad moments that really made me feel her pain. Something does happen but I do not want to spoil anything. If anything, I want others to know that you will feel her pain, love, happiness. There are so many emotions throughout this story that I really hit home for me. Marcy, Liam, and Brad have a story of love that not many people can or do have. You will laugh, cry, feel very angry, feel very uncomfortable, feel very sad. I am glad that I read the whole series and I hope that you do to. Just know that there are some very traumatic experiences in this story that might trigger you if have been harmed.

A New Day for Cray is part of the The Adventures of Cray on the Bay Series that is geared more toward audiences of 3-7 years of age, but you can enjoy this book even if you are young at heart. This story of Cray the Crab teaches us about bullying, kindness and what true friendship means. When Cray the Crab goes about pinching his way….Cray the Crab learns that he does not have to pinch all of his friends. Cray’s friends Fay, Ray, and Hay show Cray about what true friendship means.
What a truly wonderful story. I loved the rhyming, the message behind the book and the illustrations are very beautifully done and full of color and very engaging. My great nieces, great nephew and I look forward to other Cray Adventures!! I highly recommend this book…it was fantastic.

Whispered Surrender is the first book or ‘duet’ as the author calls them in the series ‘Sinful Duets’. This book has two stories within it Wayward and Undercover. I would personally recommend reading these in order. Through this series I have found a new love for billionaire mafia romance. Who doesn’t love sexy, rich and bad boys? This is a wonderful story which mixes myth and reality. Craig and Linda are brother and sister on a holiday from the city of Birmingham to Loch Ness in Scotland. They go on an adventure every day to try and find the Loch Ness Monster “Nessie”. The question is will they risk it all to find her? I would highly recommend this book to all ages alike.

I have read a few books from this author and let me tell you I’m a huge fan. This is the second book to the very addictive sinful duets. I love a good romance story but getting two is amazing. I was able to put this book down until I finished with both couples. I could not help loving all the characters inside this book. I also love that she wrote both characters pov. I can’t wait to see who she writes about next.
Damian got an assignment that he thought should have been easy. All he has to do is get the girl back safe and sound. When he looks into Bryanna’s eyes he feels something he has never felt before. He needs to protect her at all costs. Damian will do anything to protect but will he be too late?
Dereck is put into a job to help his friends out. He is to guard the beautiful dancer Layla. Dereck was just going to make this the everyday job but Layla is something he craves. He loves her strong will and she is sassy. Dereck will do anything to keep her safe but will her secrets get them both into trouble they can’t get out of?
