Dirty Heartbreaker is the third instalment of the Hamilton Steelhawks series by A.C. Sheppard. This is the first book that I have read by this author and didn’t realise that it was the third book in a series when I started. Luckily it can be read as a standalone, as the series follows the Hamilton Steelhawks ice hockey team, where each book focuses on a different team member. So having read this, it has made me curious about the other team members, and so I will be going back to read the first two books to ‘meet’ those characters, before continuing on with any new instalments.
Colby and Gabriella’s story is a slow burn enemies to lover’s sports romance, where opposites attract, snarky banter abounds, and chemistry simmers- adding intrigue, spice, sparks, steam, drama, angst, and emotion.
The series is made up of (so far):
-Dirty Charmer (Book #1) — Max and Addie’s story.
-Dirty Lover (Book #2) — Jayden and Cait’s story.
-Dirty Heartbreaker (Book #3) — Colby and Gabriella’s story.
Now I am looking forward to ‘meeting’ the rest of the team!
