Magic Wanda (Grandma’s Closet) by Lois Wickstrom – Review by Anantha Rusum
Magic Wanda by Lois Wickstrom
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
There are so many wonderful things hidden in Grandma’s closet and Carrie keeps opening them one after another. This time, she picks up a wooden flower, these are magical flowers which do not like to be wet. Carrie seeks grandma’s advice but grandma wants her to explore on her own.
More than the magic itself, it is a beautiful bond between the grandma and the granddaughter which are a highlight of this story. The illustrations can be a little better . But the overall heart of the story is set in the right place. Children will love this story.
