This book was such a good one. This is fifth book in this series and can be read as a standalone, But i would read this whole series to get the best reading experience. This author’s writing style is awesome. I get fully pulled into the story and i enjoy the stories a lot. The main characters in this are James and Sarah. They go into their roommate situation not expecting much, but their circumstances ends up being much more complicated than they thought. I loved them as MC’s and i was rooting for a HEA for them because i liked them from the start. I am looking forward to more by this author in the future! Happy Reading!

This was a good 4 star historical romance. I really enjoyed these two, I was pulled right into their story. Paydon struggles with PTSD and when he meets Clarice she is exactly what he needs. I really liked Clarice she was a strong character and seemed to be perfect for Paydon. My emotions were all over the place. Will Clarice be able to help Paydon get past his dark memories? Will he get a HEA? Overall I really enjoyed this book. The author does a great job with her writing. I can’t wait to read more, 1-click and get started today.

This was a cute little story full of fantasy and magic. Carrie’s grandmother knew that Carrie needed magic in her life to help her prepare for a party that was making her nervous to attend so she provided her with the magic Wandas which helped her become less nervous. The story is cute and I think many little children will enjoy the story of Carrie and the magic wandas.

My kids and I absolutely adore each book we pick up from this author, and this one definitely ranks in our top 3 favorites for sure! This continues from the first book where we read about the items Carrie’s grandmother left behind when she moved. I love the bond between her and her grandma so much, and you can really feel it throughout the story. The magic of imagination here is tremendous as she finds a box of Magic Wandas and goes on an adventure! The illustrations are beautiful, and I truly enjoy the different fonts that are used throughout. My kiddos always leave these books with a smile, but this one created a whole new game to play thanks to the creativity of this author. I highly recommend picking this up and sharing with the young ones in your life. I bet you’ll get a kick out of it as well!
This was such a cute and engaging children’s book that my two kiddos enjoyed even more than I did! I hadn’t read anything from this author before, but the cover tugged at the animal lover in my heart. I don’t typically read books in this genre, so I have to mention how pleasantly surprised I was when I was pulled into the book. My kids are 8 and 12, and I think they are the perfect age for this story. The illustrations are beautiful and truly added to the book! It also sparked some absolutely wonderful conversations within our family, and that alone makes it a winner in my opinion. I recommend picking this up for the young ones in your life!

This is an author that I have enjoyed reading from the first book I picked up by her. I never hesitate to pick up one of her books. This is the fifth book in this series which I highly suggest reading the previous books as well as they are that enjoyable. I enjoy this author’s writing style as well as her ability to make her characters come to life. They are characters that are full of heart and soul who pop off the pages and into your heart. This is a well written story about Sarah and James. They are roommates that are about to find more than just a living arrangement. I enjoyed watching their growth throughout which added to their chemistry as well. They are relatable and add so much to this story. This is a fast paced, hard to put down romance story that you don’t want to miss. It is an easy to read story that I highly recommend.

What a sweet romance! This is the second one in the series I’ve read, and as always the dad is my favorite. This one definitely tugged at my hearstrings a little bit, and I loved how the FMC was an absolute spitfire who took no one’s BS. The MMC was a sweetheart, even if a little dense sometimes. Pretty much fade to black/closed door for spice levels, but sometimes that can be a bit refreshing. Still recommend, as well as the other books in the series.

Tam DeRudder Jackson gave me another fantastic read with Out of Bounds!!!!
In this book, it’s Wyatt and Piper’s turn at happily ever after, and oh my goodness, was I glad I was along for the ride. Piper has had a rough few months, and that is putting it mildly. She has been trying to put her ex behind her, but he doesn’t seem to get the message. When he won’t leave her alone at a bar, Wyatt steps in, and finally gets him to leave. After an intriguing conversation, the evening ends in an unforgettable night, but Piper has made it clear it was just one night. However, she never saw Wyatt coming, and he will change her life in ways she never imagined.
Wyatt may very well be my favorite book boyfriend. I think Piper said it perfectly:
“Wyatt Baxter ran deep. One look at the art on the walls of his room told a story of a person who found beauty even in the most devastating and terrifying moments, who cared about details, and quality, who thought deep thoughts when he was alone.”
He was also patient, kind, and loyal to those he cared about, and Piper was lucky to have found him. He was her biggest support, and she could be herself with him, and show him every part of who she was, and he saw her for who she was deep in her soul.
At the beginning of the book, I wasn’t quite sure how I felt about Piper. As I got to know her more, especially in the chapters in which she was telling the story, I was able to see she was a girl who had been hurt incredibly badly. She was hurt so deeply, that I was surprised she was able to open her heart again to anyone. She was tough, but Jackson showed me a vulnerable side to her. I admired her ability to forgive others who had broken her heart. She became someone I would want in my corner.
Jackson again stands out in this genre, making it her own. Her characters are always complex and multi-layered, and they always go against stereotypes. The guys who live with Wyatt aren’t some dumb jocks. They are highly intelligent, and Wyatt himself is a gifted artist! She is also a talented writer, and I found myself in both books looking up words I didn’t know the meaning of. So, I have added some new words to my vocabulary!
I have been looking forward to Offsides, which is Finn and Chessley’s story. There have been hints about these two from the very beginning of this series, and this one promises to be something else! Summer of 2024 can’t get here fast enough!!!

I always get excited when I see a book by this author because I enjoy her work so much and this book is no exception. The writing style felt so familiar when I started reading the book and it just made me connect with the story more easily. I always love the single mum trope and this author has done it with such ease. I found the characters engaging and interesting. I wanted to know more about them and see how things would develop. This author easily cemented herself as one of my favourites a long time ago and I never fail to pick up and enjoy one of her books. I loved this book from the moment I started reading and read it all in once sitting. This is a fantastic book and a fantastic series, I would highly recommend it.

The Scottish Play is the 1st Book in the new PolyAm Fam series and I LOVED this book so much. I am a huge fan of this author and I was eagerly anticipating to read this story and I cannot say enough of how much I really enjoyed this book. Giving me the feels of a sense of love, family, drama, angst with sugar and spice….I devoured every page and have no regrets. The overall relationships between the characters and how it developed throughout the storyline makes me want to be part of world.
Who wouldn’t love a true Scotsman in a kilt help with a play that is for your graduate degree? Molly being in a predicament needed the perfect person to play the part and help her get her final project done and wow the professors. When Molly’s girlfriend, Poe, approaches Lachlan Adair to see if he would be game to help out….Lachlan does not know how to act…but taking a look at Molly at first sight…he was in. Sparks fly between Lachlan and Molly..knowing that Molly though already has her love of her life, Poe. When things heat up, feelings are mutual….with the support of the polycule that Molly is part of….Molly needs to find the courage to feel free and open on whom she loves…even if it more than one person…

The Earl’s Match is a contemporary romance historical tale that has many layers to make it interesting. It is the fifth book in the Thompsons of Locust Street. I love the cover. Each book tells the story of one of the Thompsons siblings and this one is Paydon’s story. I don’t read a lot of historical romance it’s not really my genre but if it is done well, as this one is I am happy. Holly paints a vivid picture of the time with her narrative that makes it easily imagined. The characters feel real and have flaws and vulnerabilities. I admit I did quite enjoy this story. This heartwarming story is filled with passion and pain, struggle, and drama. Clarice is not your normal society girl in fact she prefers life outside of society where she can breathe and be herself. She is perfect for Payden, she is just what he needs to ground him and pull him out of his funk. Paydon is still reeling from his imprisonment and is finding it hard to full out of the darkness that seems to have settled into his soul. However there maybe one person who maybe just be what he needs. If you like historical romance, then you will like not only this book but this series.

Beach Ball Blunder is Book Three in The Adventures of Cray on the Bay Series. It is a children’s book that follows the beach adventures of Cray the Crab and his friends, Hay the Fox, Ray the Seagull, Fay the Turtle, and in this newest adventure Gray the Seal. Told in rhymes the book tells the story of Seal Gray who is on the beach playing with his beach ball when it suddenly spins out of control causing chaos along the way. Gray sees the damage that the ball has done as it crushes his friend’s sandcastle, knocks an ice cream cone out of a child’s hand, and almost hits his friends as it bounces along the beach. He decides to lie and say the ball was not his because he feels so guilty about what has happened. Afterwards, Seal Gray is overwhelmed by guilt and sadness, so he goes to his friends and confesses that it was him and his ball. His friends are understanding, and Cray the Crab explains that lying is harmful. The friends then work together to clean up the mess along the beach. This was a wonderfully written book with cute rhymes and colorful illustrations that conveyed important messages about friendship, forgiveness, kindness, and responsibility for one’s own actions. A must read for both young and old alike.

My son (7yo) and I always enjoy all of the books by Lois Wickstrom. They are always so much fun to read. The Grandma’s closet series is always filled with magic and fun. Who doesn’t love magic? After reading, you and your kids will find yourself wanting some magic wandas of your own!
This is an amazing story that feels like it just flows off the pages and keeps you turning them until the book is done. It is a great read that was very quick for me. I am normally not one that gravitates towards sports romances but this book was really well done. I feel like you didn’t just get sports or romance, you got a really good blend of both. This book is written in dual POV which allows the characters to have a great banter between them and really allows the reader to be able to get caught up in them. I love when you feel like you want to be friends with the characters and I definitely do with this book. There is angst, steam, love, banter, just super cute things in this book that make you swoon. The author has a way with words that just makes you feel completely immersed into the story line. I highly enjoyed reading this book and am looking forward to reading more from this author. I love this fun book about the power of imagination and all the things your imagination can create. Will everyone understand what you create? No, Carrie’s mom is a perfect example of this in the story, but that shouldn’t stop you from dreaming and creating! Definitely a fun read for younger children.

I loved being Ireland and being in the bakery with Claire and her family and she’s been working there since a wee one and it’s only natural for her to want to try new things and I get her mums reservations and watching them at loggerheads made me sad to a degree but their story and relationship was also real and endearing …..
The bakery is catering for a wedding and they did their trusted cupcakes but there wax an accident along the way and said cupcakes are no more so there’s our Claire in a flat spin but her knight that caused the accident comes to her rescue and provided a kitchen so she can bake a batch if delicious goodness ! Everyone falls in love with her delectable creations but mom is not on board , until she is ….

Let me begin by saying that you can read this as a standalone or in order of the series. I recommend reading it in order because knowing the back story of the Bennett family will help a lot. Now let’s get started with this review. Fearless Love is the final installment to the most beautiful and touching romance series I have ever read. This is James and Sara’s story. The best way to sum it all up is two broken hearts brought together by whatever you want to call it. He’s a tender spirit that knows what he wants and is so loving and compassionate. He shows Sara what life can be like with the right man to love her and her son, Noah. Sara is independent and protective of her son. She learns that its okay to let someone in again. She learns to heal in many ways. Watching these two heal and come together and become a family, small and large, left me feeling so many emotions. Sara’s job as a traveling nurse brought her to the farm to help Ray recover from his health crisis in a previous book, I prefer to think fate brought them together for her own purpose. This author is one of my favorites. Her writing is tender, compassionate, romantic, and realistic. The Bennetts have always felt like they could be part of my community. This author has done a fantastic job of tying up the series. This author has done a wonderful job of making her readers feel that the Bennetts have been part of your family. Happy tears flowed as the family returned for a surprise. Thank you sharing this beautiful series with us.

5 Stars The Scottish Play (Polyam Fam Series) by Phoebe Alexander
The Scottish Play is the first book in the Polyam Fam Series and is a wonderfully written Romantic Comedy. I loved everything about this book from the characters that are fully developed, relatable and complex. Her style of writing is what I love most about her. Her attention to detail along with her creative characters make the story come to life. I’ve read several books by this author and honestly this is my favorite yet. Lachlan and Molly, she doesn’t date men and for her grad school project is to stage her play she wrote. Lachlan doesn’t date period but sure has a sexy accent. He’s not the best actor but whew should that really matter? I think not. These two have some serious chemistry between them. What will happen onve the play is complete? I highly recommend reading this book to find out what happens next. I’m already looking forward to the next book in this series.

The introductions and back stories really set the scene, we are introduced to the Xanthos (magic users) . <br />They are feared and untrusted by others, they are easily spotted by their yellow eyes. We follow Leora of Mae who escapes her adoptive family and is almost sold into servitude. Oh man it’s been a treat to read these duets and while I’m on the edge of my seat to sink ny teeth into the last one I’m also hesitant because I don’t want it to end 😉
This duet has ELUSIVE which is about Alexis and Sheldon while TENACIOUS is about Nick and Allie .

Sheldon and Alexi’s cross paths quite by chance when Alexis finds herself in quite the predicament, let’s just say wrong place ,wrong time , wrong person lucky for her Sheldon is called upon for protection ….
Sheldon and Alexi bring out the unknown hunger in craving in each other for each other and guess what we’re the fortunate souls ( sone would say depraved ) we are to bear witness to this 😉🔥
These 2 kept me on my toes and they were in some tight and dangerous situations , my heart was beating harder than it should at times and it wasn’t just because of the suspense and danger 😉be prepared !

Nick is one of those delectable men that always gets what he wants and Allie is the first to say no to him and not fall at his feet and succumb to his charms but girl you’re not going to be able to fight it for to long have you looked into those eyes 👀🔥🥰
Allie is fiercely independent and has walls around her heart , self preservation and all and with her being a nurse she sees a lot and needs to be able to distance herself emotionally but I don’t think she’s ready for what’s coming get way when her path crosses with Nick’s ….
Nick and Allie are on the same team but fighting different aspects of it , Nick is fighting the traffickers while Allie works with the after effects and they’re in a war of evil and epic proportions which sickens me to the pit of my stomach.
Other than Nick and Allie’s relationship I loved the friendship between Allie and Lexi she’s a real good friend, she’s loyal , honest and supportive, a real keeper !
I just loved this duets and these people have become my tribe ❣️📚

The Rise of House Valdis is the first book in the House Valdis series. It’s an exciting urban fantasy featuring plenty of action and romance! I’ve enjoyed other books by this author so I knew I was in for a treat with some fascinating characters and LGBT+ romance.
After getting to know Xenobia in the prequel, it was fun to see how her life on earth had developed and learn what she can do with her powers. There are also plenty of new characters to meet – I particularly liked Matthew who we learn a lot about as the story progresses.
There are plenty of threats as Xenobia tries to protect the various characters who’ve ended up under her care. She has some difficult decisions to make as she works out how to keep everyone safe, including deciding who she can trust to help her.
I’d recommend this series to readers who are fans of the author, and anyone who’s looking to get into an urban fantasy with superb world building. This book gets five stars from me!
