This is a really unique book to read. At first I wasn’t sure if it was something I would enjoy however I’m so glad I gave it a chance. This for me was a really emotional read and it made me think about all things concerning life, death, previous lives and just about what happens to our consciousness in general. When we die do we just not exist anymore or does our consciousness go to another place where we can look back at our lives and the loved ones we leave behind.
It is a beautifully written story and I will admit there is a lot of content and a lot of characters each with a unique and difference perspective on events. Sometimes it can feel overwhelming however if you just take your time it is so worth it.
I don’t want to go into too much detail as I don’t want to give away spoilers and I really think I wouldn’t be able to do it justice.
It was a very thought provoking read and made me realise that because we see a situation/circumstance happening one way that doesn’t mean that other people involved are sharing the same perspective
It also gave me an element of comfort thinking that my loved ones that have passed are still keeping an eye on me.
