I am thankful I did read the first book prior to reading this one.
That being said, this plot is refreshing amidst all the book selections I’ve
been choosing recently.

It wasn’t as spicy as I thought it would be considering it is a book with
BDSM woven through the storyline but that does not distract from the
quality of the plot.

We get more of Zachary’s backstory in this sequel but only as it lends to
a plot twist that will be continued throughout the series. Ashton learns
more about herself as they go through their struggles and Zachary admits
his feelings aloud.
But
We get their happily ever after and learn Derek is on deck for the next part
of the series.
