Ember was outcasted from her family when she started showing signs of having magic. Sent away to school to learn magic she felt dejected. She became a nurse to help the injured dropped off at her door. As hybrids came and went, she always seemed to feel alone. Will that change or will she always be the young woman single and alone? This was a quick read and kept my interest throughout with the twists and turns.
