The Changed Man (The Olympic Peninsula Series, Book 4) by Cat Treadgold – Review by Megan Conley

The Changed Man (The Olympic Peninsula series Book 4)The Changed Man by Cat Treadgold
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This series ages like a fine wine. Each time I finish a book and Treadgold comes out with another one, I’m like there’s no way she can top the last one and then she goes and does it. This one is probably by far my favorite. The MMC is angsty and distant (he has his reasons) and his relationship with the FMC is…complicated to say the least. I love all the different dynamics we get to experience through out the book not only between the MMC and the FMC but also the family and friendship dynamics that Treadgold brings into the plot line. One of my favorite things an author does is bring back characters from previous stories so we can still see what they are up to without taking over the main character’s story and Treadgold does such a fantastic job of that. We get to see what everyone else has been up to without it taking over Jake and Chiara’s story. This story is an emotional rollercoaster of a ride so you better buckle up. And while I suppose you could read these as standalones (as they are individual stories) I would suggest reading them in order because you will truly miss out on some storyline and character nuances. I cannot wait for the next installment in the Olympic Peninsula series.
