The Missing Red Envelopes by Yobe Qiu. This is a newer kids author to me but I have really enjoyed the books I’ve read. This is a chapter book for kids 7-12 years old and its great for new Chapter readers. My 6 & 11 year old nephew read them with me and they really enjoyed it. Its the stories of Lorie & Weina who are sisters who have lost their red envelopes with the money that received for the lunar new year. We go with them as they retrace their steps trying to find the envelopes and along the way we learn all kinds of stuff about the lunar New year and the Asian Culture! Such a fun and educational read. Great for a family gift or for teachers in their classrooms! I can’t wait to read more by this awesome author!
