Arrow is an ex navy seal now winemaker and between me and you I’m sure we could mulch the grapes into nectar on his abs 🤣🙈🔥 but there’s a darker side to this delectable man , a dude that hides hurt and scars , a side that he’s hidden in a vault and I almost thought he’d never crack that is until a beautiful woman crosses his path , he’s sees the hurt and scars in her and all he wants to do is “ heal” and protect her ( cue deep sigh)
Vivian isn’t just beautiful but she’s smart as well and she’ll keep your pearly whites shiny ( she’s a dentist) she’s not easily swayed by Arrow’s attempts but I must give it to him he’s a determined man and goes after what he wants 🤭😉
Don’t let Vivian fool you she’s also on the hunt for a bad and brutal individual which places her in a very dangerous position but do not fret Arrow is close by and he’s all protector 🔥
This just ticked all my boxes , there was spice , tension , fear , swoon moments and times where I just wanted to push her aside and say “ I’ll have you Arrow” 🥰🤣

This is the first book I’ve read by Marilyn Levinson. I enjoyed the Mystery Bookclub theme (though the questions and flow of her bookclub puts any bookclub I’ve ever been in to shame! I took notes!) and especially loved the entire theme of using Agatha Christie’s mysteries as the basis and flow for the book. The back stories of the characters was fun as well, and I expect as there are more Golden Age of Mystery Bookclub books we’ll continue to learn even more about the characters and their stories. This was a pretty quick and easy read, Levinson kept the story moving along and created a number of “whodunit” scenarios. Definitely a fun read!

The second book by this author is as wonderfully written as the first. This one picks up with Jack and Mariella starting out their life together. It’s a story of love, bravery, heartbreak, hope and courage. I would recommend this book to others that enjoy the time period and who likes a love story.

With each book I read by this author I am more and more in awe of the talent she has in creating captivating storylines and relatable heartfelt characters. While some of this books topics can be difficult ones to present, this amazing author does it in such a way that it is so heart warming even while it is breaking your heart. this is a book not to be missed.

I enjoyed this story. I am drawn to this time period in history, this story was beautifully written. I was drawn in immediately which made for a quick read. The characters were well developed and likeable. I can not wait to start the next book and see where Luigina takes the characters and us next. Wonderful book! I loved everything about this book. There is so much to learn and many weird and fun facts. I like that on each animal the author tells what a group of that particular animal is, like who knew a group of giraffes is called a tower? So fun! Kids are already interested in animals and this book is great for them to learn about some of their favorites. I really appreciate all the work that went into all the research and facts on each animal in this book.

Oh, this was a fun read. Lexie is caught in the middle of Book Club drama. A dear family friend passes due to homicide and she ends up getting in the middle of it trying to find the killer. The writing in so engaging. I couldn’t put it down. The drama is kind of like watching a train wreck. You can’t look away. I’ve never read Agatha Christie so those references went over my head. I found all the characters quite easy to relate too. Such a unique town full of personality. A few twists and turns kept me guessing as to who the culprit might be. The author even tossed a couple love interests in there for Lexie. Sweet, this is a must read. Excellent cozy.

What a wonderful way to teach kids about pets and preparing for disasters. I loved the pet disaster kit. It’s a terrific story that’s informative and very caring. I’ve enjoyed the Oscar and Emmy series. The pictures are bright and catch the child’s attention. This is a must for any cat families.

Can I Keep Her? is the 2nd book in the Kingdom of Mir series, where young Winnie earned her right to be an advisor to the King. Once again, she encounters a situation involving a special egg and finds a solution by applying her thoughtfulness and empathy. This lovely story has a great message that would appeal to 5-8 year olds. It is easy to read to children and have them follow along with the delightful illustrations.

This book has some great characters and plot line, but I found the pace to be a little slow. There were times I struggled to keep up with what was going on because of all the little details that were being thrown in. They were good details, but I did expect this novel to have some serious action and fast pace to it.
However, overall I enjoyed this book and the characters that the author made relatable. I do hope to see more action out of the next novel, but I also cannot wait to continue the storyline where Lea and Gabriel left off with Maddie.

This author writes beautifully broken people with heart. You think this book is about Gavin and his tortured trip into his memories and dealing with his PTSD but you would be wrong. Not that Gavin isn’t a huge part of the story but this book is about Katie and her undimming spirit.
Katie is so strong throughout the entire book. She is able to reach Maggie when she needs it. She continues to try with Gavin. She gathers a community around her that provides support and can help her heal while being that for everyone else.
Be prepared for your feelings to get all into this book. There will be happiness, anger, frustration, sadness, curiosity, grief and hope. It is okay to feel all of that and more. Just know going in that it is worth the emotional rollercoaster.

Perfectly Framed is the second book in the Mobile Cat Groomer Mystery series by Ruth J. Hartman. As expected, this is an intriguing cozy mystery with a bit of a whodunnit feel. Ms. Hartman’s signature wit and humourous touches, along with the intriguing mystery, make this a very enjoyable read. Even though this is the second book in the series, it could be read as a standalone, if you wanted- without feeling like you are ‘missing’ anything. Having said that though, I recommend reading the first book as it is a fun story in its own right…. Molly, the mobile cat groomer once again finds herself thrust into a murder investigation when she has photos taken of furry friends- and the pictures reveal more than expected. But someone certainly doesn’t want Molly, or anyone else, looking too closely- and so lets it be known that to do so will come with great risk. What happens makes for a bit of a suspenseful tale. Another great instalment in this fun cozy mystery series. Looking forward to the next book. Happy Reading…

This novel has an unusual plot line. Evil sushi that causes unintended consequences. Creative storytelling captures the readers attention right from the beginning. I couldn’t put the book down. The story has me hooked from the first chapter and I had to know how it ended. This is a gripping paranormal suspense novel that’s an entertaining read.
It’s always hard to try and get over a heartbreak but sometimes it opens your eyes so you can see what is right in front of you. Jorden and Cane are such a cute pair. If you have a couple of hours grab this book!

I couldn’t put this book down! This is the second book in the Love in Emerald Creek series, and I can’t wait for the next one. This author does a great job of making you feel like you’re part of the story.
Buckle up for a slow burn with this second chance romance. Both Shayna and Burke have a lot of baggage and they’re perfect for each other, but secrets from the past have a way of coming back when you least expect it. This book is an emotional rollercoaster, but it’s so worth the ride!

This was a cute story! The Dinopotamus wants to be just like his friend, everything they do he tries to do. They slide down the slide so does he, the kids go to school, he follows. He finds out he has a few differences than his friends. Definitely recommend.

Under the Bandage by Lois Wickstrom is a fun and imaginative kids’ book. The story is filled with colorful illustrations and lots of creativity. This book was great for teaching kids about how their cuts heal and about bacteria and blood cells. My son, who has a bandage on his hand right now, really enjoyed learning about how cuts heal.

This is a cute book with great illustrations. Wynnie is a strong-willed young lady who doesn’t let just anyone change her mind. She thinks for herself and sets out to prove that she can do something that others may not have the skills for.

This was a great 5 star read. My emotions were all over the place. Nick and Dani were great characters. We definitely get the sex, drugs and rock n’ roll in this book. We see a side that many rockstars have lived for sure. Dani finds herself following Nicks band and intertwining herself into their lives. These two have a history that spans back to when they were in highschool. This story pushes the emotional buttons full throttle. There are times that the author jumps to the past to give you some back story. Can Nick beat his addictions and will he remember Dani? Toasted by Isobel Reed was an absolute blast from the very first page. Libby is such a fun loving character that had me smiling or even chuckling through most of the storyline. The chemistry between her and Zach was wonderful and I really liked the banter and humor within the pages. Toasted was an easy read that flew by, the perfect break from reality. I really look forward to more from the Love Burns series, and this author in general.

This is a cute little story about a little boy and how he recovers from a scraped knee. I really liked how the book interjected facts about the body and how healing occurs. I think many children would enjoy reading the cute story and finding out about how their bodies work. I recommend this book to anyone with children who have inquiring minds and love to learn more about their body and how it heals.

An entertaining, enjoyable and engaging contemporary romance which kept me happily turning the pages. This is book one in a new series about the “hunky” firefighters that “save the day” in the small town of Woodvalley Pines. Libby is new to the town and has a bad start when she’s the victim of a toaster fire which sets her kitchen on fire. To make matters worst she’s dressed in pink Disney pyjamas when the “smokin’” hot firefighters turn up to save the day. Firefighter Zach is half amused and half intrigued by the angry woman accusing him of keeping toaster fire safety a secret, but he’s definitely attracted to her. Libby and Zach’s instant chemistry sizzles off the page and leads to some spicy scenes, however their developing relationship may or may not be a long term romance. No spoilers, as I recommend picking up this fun, humorous, flirty book up and escaping to Woodvalley Pines for a while!

Productivity is Power 2 By Hillary Rettig 5 Stars I procrastinate a lot! Not in my work life but in my personal life. Way to much for my comfort and always wait till the last minute and then I’m the crazy lady rushing to make it. Then there is the me that is ready 24hrs before and has the car, snacks etc. all ready before morning. I was trying to find balance is all of it! Work, Home etc. Especially since I WFM. I’m just trying to find my balance and I feel like Hillary helped me. I’m still working on it but taking everything in and a day at a time. This was my first time reading one of her books and it also led me to her website to check her out. I’m a note taker and list maker so I started using ideas from the first day. This was the perfect book to get me back into my daily routine that worked well for me. Practical and well written, it gave me the motivation to do more and be more productive even when I was in my slump days or having a rough day, I’m always scared to step out of my comfort zone, and this gave me hope to continue to do so and do more. Taking the tips I’ve learned and showing my 18 yr old and my mom to help them as well.
