Under Jackson Bridge by Susan Specht Oram – Review by Bobbi Wagner
Under Jackson Bridge: A thriller by Susan Specht Oram
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
This is the first book in a new series by this author. This is an author that I have enjoyed reading from the first book I picked up by her. I enjoy her writing style as well as her creativity that makes her characters pop. This book is no different. It is a well written story that has twists and turns like no other. This is a story about what happens when you have a single mom stumbles onto some secrets that just may put her life in danger. Irena has made her way in life despite her ex-husbands help. What will happen when they are brought together by a celebration and a rogue wave has them in a situation that is unexpected? I enjoyed Irena’s character. She is determined and engaging. She is my favorite of the story. What happens between her and her ex-husband will have you coming back for more and certainly you don’t want to miss it. I enjoyed watching their growth throughout the story which made it easy to read. This is a fast paced, hard to put down story. I look forward to seeing what is next in this series for sure. I highly recommend this book.
