If your looking for a good book to take to the beach or just get cozy in the house then, Salt Love is a perfect steamy summer romantic comedy. The characters are well written and likeable and very relatable. I was definitely hooked from the start and loved it all. It checks all the boxes. Spicy, funny, secrets, full emotions, forgiveness, and second chances. I really hope we get more of this, maybe something with one of the fabulous side characters.

Catch A Cowboy by Rachelle Paige Campbell is the second book in the Match Made in Montana series, and a cute, romantic, and fun read. Ted settled in Montana after losing his wife and is not looking for anything outside of friendship. Stephanie has had a crush on Ted for so long but when she is around him, she gets so nervous. When Teds sister comes to town with his niece, Stephanie is the one person he needs to help. Can these two get past what they need to find each other? I loved this slow burn read. The chemistry that Ted and Stephanie have is so apparent as you read the story. I was able to get this read done in one sitting and wished it could have been longer, I truly loved the story and also loved that the characters from book one made an appearance!

Here is a m/m romance within the Serrulata Saga and it is full of heart felt romantic scenes between Lord Patrick Upshur, third son of one of the lesser lords in the Realm and White Rider Commandant, Iseul. Their yearning for each other is forbidden yet neither can help but think of the other. As they find a way to secretly meet, they discuss the dream of running away. Yet with Patrick’s family expectations of him, even with his inability to use his legs at times, plus the military requirements for Iseul, they struggle to conjure up a foolproof plan. When they go forward with deriving a plan, an unexpected tragedy occurs and things quickly start in motion.
There is drama, secret relationships, royal family politics, mass hysterics and gossip, as well as a lot of twists and turns that makes this book an intense and suspenseful romance.
I enjoyed reading the endeavor between two people from opposite sides of society wanting the same thing, love.

Ted works at the Kincaid Ranch is grumbling around the ranch happy in his job but not too interest in romance. Although there is one person who might break his grump, Stephanie.
Stephanie has always had a soft spot for Ted, but when ever she is around him she becomes a blubbering wreck, but when Ted’s sister arrives and she is asked to help with Maddie his niece can he truly see her or will there combined heartache hinder them finding each other.
This is the second book in the series and although this can be read as a stand alone story there are some cross over with the first story. I love the slow burn as with the first book and Ted and Stephanie are the great together and although at first that Ted is against the attraction as of the age gap but as the story goes on and his niece who he is besotted with captures Stephanie’s heart aswell the chemistry then jumps of the page and has you delving into the story.
The way the characters are weave through the story is just brilliant and the secondary characters add to the twists and turns of the book.
I can’t wait to read the next book in the series.

This author is a talented writer who presents her readers with great wholesome romances that should be read and enjoyed if you love cowboys and western/small town themes. This particular book is a clean, slow burn romance and an age gap story featuring a grumpy thorny cowboy and a light and sunshine younger kindergarten teacher. Both have things in their past that have effected them and that helps shape their stories.

Boy, did I like this one. As a romantic suspense, I couldn’t help but be hooked from the minute Donny came over to them on the playground and wanted to build sand castles with them. From that moment on, the intrigue was there. What’s with the mystery man? I thought he might be the baddie but no, he has mystery of his own. Creepo is out there hunting the women. This will get you with twists and turns. As a thriller, it’s fabulous, I found my self holding my breath waiting for this weirdo to pop out. This is one of my favorites for the year. These are amazing characters. I absolutely loved how the author set up the story right from the start. The premise of the story was great for a thriller/romantic suspense. She is a new author to me and I hope to read more from her. Fantastic.

This is the 4th book in The The Serrulata Saga. This could be read as a standalone however I think reading the books in order would really enhance my joy of the stories. The author has an amazing way of writing that really brings the world to life. The characters are so well written that you can’t help but be captivated by their story. This has some steamy parts when Patrick and Iseul are together the chemistry was consuming. My heart felt so heavy for them as they struggled to be together in a world that doesn’t understand or accept them
This is a forbidden romance. Not only is it forbidden because it is a MM romance but also because of the heireacy at which out lovers find themselves in.
Lord Patrick Upshur has been struggling in his life. From being left with mobility issues after an illness, he is also keeping a secret from the world. And that is his attraction to men. Same sex relationships are against the law in the a Realm so his secret has to remain hidden.
Commandant Iseul of the White Riders fell for Patrick from the instant he saw him. He can’t deny his attraction he feels and he will stop at nothing to be happy with Patrick.
But will they even stand a chance? With their love being against the law will they survive to be together or will they have to keep their love secret. And what will happen if their romance is revealed.
I love a good educational book for kids. Ten Little Sea Turtles was beautifully written. The illustration was full of colors. The book taught how to count to ten. The book also taught about sea turtles. I loved how the story had rhyming words also.

This is a brilliant story that teaches kids about opposites. This is something my daughter has struggled to understand a little bit, so reading this book was a fun and entertaining way to reinforce what she had already been learning. She found the book to be engaging and I could see she really connected with it. This author knows how to create stories that draw you in and provide a fun way to educate children. This book was an enjoyable story that we all loved to read.

Just another great teaching story, with fun to be had by all. Dinopotamus and his friends are learning about opposite word meanings. Some are easy, but then some can be harder to understand. I love that this author did not use only easy examples. Leaving a thought process for the child and the characters in the story. Opening up more conversations between the reader and the students. In my opinion there is another better than a book that leaves room for more learning. After the story has finished. This is another book that belongs in every child’s library. I hope you enjoy the story as much as we did.

Double Delight is a combination of two great stories that are the perfect escapism romance. I really enjoyed both of these books. They were quick and easy to read, the kind of books that are made for those lazy afternoons set aside for reading. I thought they were well developed and engaging. I wanted to know what would happen and I enjoyed the stories the author created. I thought the characters in each book were highly entertaining. They pulled me into the stories and I connected with every one of them. They each fit perfectly with their own story and made them both distinct from the other. This is a great collection that I would definitely recommend.
Another enjoyable and engaging story in this series of standalone novels. Kincaid Ranch’s lead cowboy, Ted Stirling settled in Herd, Montana following a devastating loss over ten years ago. He’s not looking for love but if he was then he would choose kindergarten teacher, Stephanie Patricks, but she is much younger than him. Stephanie has a crush on Ted and gets nervous around him, but when he needs help with his five year old niece, she is happy to help. When an emergency occurs it makes Ted realise how fragile life is and that he needs to decide if he’s willing to give love a second chance, with Stephanie. This is a sweet, heartwarming, clean romance which kept me happily turning the pages. Stephanie and Ted are likeable and relatable characters and I loved how their slow burn romance developed throughout the story.

This was a wild roller coaster ride of a book. I was captivated by the beginning and couldn’t out this book down. There are 8 short stories in here and each one has a different phobia. This stories really put my imagination to the test and made me feel like I had each and every one of them. each story really brought to life how a phobia can affect someone’s life and what they might be going thou. In the book, twins Abby and Charlie,help their mom and dad get ready for the hurricane. They also make sure their cats, Oscar and Emmy, are safe and well taken care of in the event of a major disaster. This book is well written and great illustrations. The facts in the back about Hurricane Harvey is a nice touch. The checklist that’s provided for things to have ready in case of an emergency for pets is great. That can be utilized for any number of emergency situations. A quick read for little ones who may get anxious when it comes to storms to help calm their fears. Definitely a great teaching tool for little ones.

So it was good to catch up with Meg , Ryan , Colby and Hank , but this time it’s about Ted and Stephanie 😉
So as we all know Ted works for the Kinkaid’s and he’s a quiet man , he goes about his life and tasks and keeps very much to himself . Summer is coming to an end and he realises he’s sad to see Stephanie go , she’s a teacher by trade and a yoga instructor in the summer , she’s a sweet gentle soul , a real ray of sunshine but he’s older than her and feels she needs more but resisting her becomes harder when his sister and niece pitch up and Stephanie steps up in so many ways to help with “ Squirrel” not only as her teacher but as a friend …..
Stephanie is a real honey and she deserves happiness and I just love the way she swoons over Ted 🥰she’s got a big heart and she doesn’t deserve the nasty treatment she get from Candace , even when she was warned against her she kept a kind word towards her but Candace is vindictive , nasty and a bully and it’s sad because her little girl in watching her and mirroring her behaviour 😢so enough about and her let’s focus on the important people and their beautiful hearts ….
Ted has his heartache and I get it was hard for him to let go and love again and this makes me love him even more , he dotes on maddy ( squirrel) and his sister , family is important , he’s got a brilliant work ethic , a love for animals and you can tell alit of s man’s character by the way they treat an animal 🥰😉🐾 Stephanie is lucky to have him , it goes both ways though 😉
Stephanie helps where she can and who she can , she shares info willingly and I think that came in handy with Meg and big ideas 🤩she’s kind , loving , humble , genuine and generous and I’m grateful her life is enriched with a loving man 🥰

This is a series that I have enjoyed reading from the first book I picked up by this author. I enjoy their attention to details that bring the character’s world to life. Their stories have a realistic feel which makes them easy to read. This book is no different. This is a well written story about second chances, overcoming the past and the secrets it carries. Edward and Lisette are great characters that I really enjoyed. They are strong characters that have great chemistry. I enjoyed watching their growth throughout the story. You don’t want to miss their story for sure. This is a fast paced story that is hard to put down and entertaining to read. This is the fifth book in the series and I highly suggest reading the previous books as well as they are just as great to read. I highly recommend this book.

“Raccoon Reunion” by Terri Sabol is a delightful and engaging story that follows Rocky, a curious and nervous raccoon, as he embarks on his first family reunion. As a city-raised raccoon, Rocky has never met his relatives who live outside the city, and he’s unsure of what to expect. But with the help of his new friends and a willingness to learn, Rocky discovers his strengths and finds a sense of belonging.
The story is beautifully written, with vivid descriptions of the forest and its inhabitants. Sabol’s use of language is easy to follow, making it accessible to readers of all ages. The characters are well-developed and relatable, with Rocky’s emotions and thoughts expertly conveyed through his dialogue and actions.
A lovely story that reminds me a little of country moune and city mouse.It’s a really cute story that will take you back to your memories of family reunions. Mine were always nuts. The story has bright and colorful illustrations that are sure to grab a child’s attention. The story is entertaining and family friendly. My grandson and I laughed and chuckled through it. He asked questions which brought up memories of family that had passed. It’s a lovely book that we’ll be adding to our library. I still have 4 more grandchildren to share it with. This is my favorite childrens book this year.

Stout of My League is the perfect ending to the Love on Tap Series by Sylvie Stewart. Stout of My League follows the youngest Brooks sibling, Lynn, who is hyper-focused on her future and making a name for herself. Enter Joey, a shortstop, who is sweet on Lynn, but just as overbearing as Lynn’s brothers which causes Lynn to push him away. After Joey is injured the two are forced to talk and see if they can salvage the feelings that are burning within. This is a quick and fun read to wrap up the banter, fun, and chaos of the Brooks family.

This is two books in one and it was a steamy, quick read. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this series because of two reasons; one, I didn’t have to wait for the next book to come out in the series and two, it had some pretty decent steam throughout the book. The two stories are different but have the same strong romance brewing between the main characters. In the first story the FMC has been crushing hard on the MMC and makes some major decisions which leads them down the path that becomes a page turning story. The second book is giving all the push and pull between the main characters and what they think they want and what they are starting to feel they want. It is hard to discuss without giving away spoilers, so I am going to have to leave it there. The story line is going to get you hooked on both stories but the steam is going to keep you turning pages as fast as you possibly can. The fact that I had to keep reading to see what was going to happen next made this a quick read. I highly suggest this book to anyone who loves short series, steam, love, romance, and a great story line. Reviewed by: @bbohls

However, that excitement turns to shock and sadness when a dear friend dies under suspicious circumstances. Lexie believes it’s murder, but the others aren’t so sure. It doesn’t take long for the police to verify Lexie’s suspicions. It was murder. She is determined to find out who did it. One murder turns into two, and Lexie knows she has to reveal the killer before someone else dies.
There were many characters, and in the beginning, I thought I would have a hard time keeping them straight, but the author provides a handy list of characters at the start of the book. The further I got into the book, it became easier to navigate them. I had mixed feelings about Lexie initially as she was very blunt and didn’t care whose feathers she ruffled. I came to see that as tenacity and love for her friend, Sylvia. She wanted justice for her friend, and that revealed her loyalty to those she cared for.
She is beginning to find herself in a bit of a love triangle; however, given her past, I can understand her reasons for not wanting to commit to a relationship. Both love interests are great guys, and in my opinion, she can’t go wrong with either. Hopefully, we will see some resolution to that in the next book.
Overall, this was a great read, full of twists and turns. I had no idea who the murderer was until the culprit was revealed. The author did a great job keeping me interested and engaged in the story. If you are an Agatha Christie fan, you will enjoy this book.

I was really surprised by this book. When I first saw the cover I didn’t know if I would truly like it. I loved how educational it was about storms. The book talked about taking safety precautions and things that you should do. I loved the illustrations and the colorful pages.

Another super cute counting story by Kim Ann. The illustrations are absolutely stunning! The fun rhymes will keep kids captivated. I love how their is educational info in the story. At the end, a couple of little games are included as well. Everything you could want in a counting book plus so much more.

Opposite Day for Dinopotamus is a kids book. I love this book because it is educational for kids. While reading this book they can learn about opposites. The teacher gave the students instructions, but they had to do the opposite of what she said. I really liked the pictures in this book because it looks like someone actually colored in the pages.

5 Stars Discovering Desire (Shattered Embrace Series) by Alyndra Quinn
Discovering Desire is the third book in the Shattered Embrace Series and is a wonderfully written Hot and Steamy Romance that will have you turning the pages till the end. I’ve read other books by this author and this one may be my favorite yet. I absolutely loved reading this book and the characters are fully developed,raw, real and relatable. I loved all the heart that was put into this story. I’m not going to give anything away. I highly recommend reading this book to find out what happens next. Three hearts are involved will one or all be broken? I can’t wait to read more from this Author.
I thoroughly enjoyed this novel. The characters were well developed and relatable. The plot was thicker than Maya. The twists and turns along the way kept me on the edge of the page wanting more.
The reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is because there were a few uncomfortable moments where Maya’s weight was mentioned more than I felt was necessary and some of the thought processes were odd for the situation. Overall, I would highly recommend. I loved the back and forth between characters and the different point of views. I loved the POV of the suspect; it gave a different vibe and insight to the story that I feel added a lot to the plot. I cannot wait to read more from this author!
