Quick easy read, sweet clean romance with age gap. Book 2 in this series that can be read as a standalone. Enjoyable characters, sweet story. I like when authors write series and the stories from each book can be read alone with a wrapped up ending, Will recommend this series and author to others.

Second Glance is the Fourth book in the Serrulata Saga. While this is part of a series, I had no idea going into it, as it can be read as a stand-alone. I absolutely adored this book, as up until now i haven’t been able to find very many books in this genre this inclusive. I love a good forbidden romance novel, and this one is beautifully written! I loved every single character, the chemistry was incredible, and the plot was captivating! I look forward to reading the rest of the Saga!

By Your Side is the first book in the Willowbrook Lake series by Ashley Erin. Adeline moves to Willowbrook Lake after a devastating loss. While she’s starting over, she meets Owen and begins to feel things she never thought possible. Owen is torn between being her friend and being more while not wanting to be disrespectful of her grief. This was a beautiful love story. Adeline and Owen are wonderfully written. The story flows through time without feeling slow or dragging. For those looking for romance without all the spice this book is for you (there is only one scene in the book). I can’t wait to read the rest of the series.

Another amazing novel in the Shattered Embrace series by Alyndra Quinn…. And once again this novel is seriously HOT! Totally awesome sex scenes and more insight into the world of domination and submission. It is the love story of Derek and Justine but also a continuation of the storyline and subplots of the hidden dangers and the Mafia connection from books 1&2.
Before reading this novel you have to start at book one to have a complete understanding of the events of the novel.
It is hard to write a review without spoilers so I am just going to tell you that you need to read it yourself!

By Your Side is the first book in the Willowbrook Lake Series. This is a Contemporary Romance that I absolutely loved reading. This is about finding love unexpectedly. The characters are developed, relatable and complex. This may be a fairly new author to me but I’m definitely going to check out what other books they have written. Get ready for Owen and Adeline’s story. She’s not looking for love and he’s got many talents. When these two worlds collide all things are possible. My emotions ran all over the place with sweet story. Second chances in small towns can happen. Will these two get there’s? I highly recommend reading this book to find out what happens next. I’m looking forward to reading more from this Author.

Raccoon Reunion by Terri Sabol is a cute children’s story with a bit of journey of discovery, problem solving, sharing, teamwork, cooperation, family, overcoming apprehension, and friendship. The fun story is accompanied by some wonderful, bright, and interesting illustrations which really help to bring everything to life.
Rocky the Raccoon and his family are invited to the family reunion being held at Grandma Rigby’s place out in the country. He doesn’t want to go. But he doesn’t really have a choice. When they arrive, there are so many family members there and so many names to remember. Rocky really doesn’t like the food, or the games that are played. He is having the worst time. But what happens when the family decides to go dumpster diving? And will Rocky finally have some fun?
As expected from Ms. Sabol, this is quite a delightful children’s adventure.

Having read the other two books of the Serrulata Saga, I was glad to pick up this one. It’s a shorter read compared to the other ones. This author has a way of writing that skillfully weaves together elements of fantasy and romance, keeping you engrossed from start to finish. A.E Bennett also brings the story’s setting to life, immersing you into this brilliantly built universe. It’s a m/m forbidden romance filled with adventure and passion that progresses naturally, allowing you to witness the evolution of relationships amidst the ups and downs. I can’t wait for the future installments of this series

I haven’t read to many country cowboy romance books, but I’m glad that I gave this one a chance. It was cute and funny and all the things you think of when you think country romance. Ted, who is a lead cowboy for a local ranch has settled in Montana after the loss of his wife. Not looking for much more than something to keep him busy and away from the pain, he settles into a new life she didn’t expect to permanent. He always thought he would move on. When he meets Stephanie, a yoga instructor, kindergarten teacher, event planner, and community volunteer he starts to feel that maybe he can love again. But he’s her boss. And then she’s his niece’s teacher. Plus he’s way to old for her. Right? Stephanie has a major crush on Ted, but she knows she just has to get over it. She can barley even talk around him! When she’s around him she becomes a whole other person. One that can’t talk or communicate. When Ted’s sister leaves his niece with him with just about no warning he enlists Stephanie’s help with Maddy. Spending extra time with her is just a bonus. Things heat up for Stephanie when a parent starts to cause trouble and an emergency has everyone looking at life and figuring out what they all want. This book was so good!!! I loved all the ranch stuff and I think that it’s super cute that the kindergarten teacher is falling in love! I won’t give away anything, but I personally really liked the book. Grab it! You will love it too!!
Double Delight: The Complete Series by Julie Castle

What an amazingly double steamy read! I had read one series by this author before, and it absolutely left me wanting more. I can’t pick a favorite out of the two books included in this collection because I loved them both. The chemistry in both of these books is astounding! It pops off the pages even though the basis of the stories is quite different. I could tell that the characters in each book were developed very intentionally as nothing was missing. I never felt like I was jolted out of the story from odd sentences or a weird scene jump. The author pulls you into their world and doesn’t let go! If you are looking for a spicy double feature, pick this one up right now!

This is the second book in the Match Made in Montana series, and it was wonderful! This can be read as a standalone and not be lost whatsoever, but you’ll want to pick up the rest of the series anyways because the author has an amazing writing style. I found that this slow burn really tugged at my heart and found the characters relatable. Ted is a gentlemanly cowboy working at the Kincaid Ranch, but he’s also a bit of a grump. Stephanie seems like a bit of a workaholic, but she just likes to be busy. She’s a take charge person who says what’s on her mind…unless she’s around Ted. She’s got a crush on him and loses all words when he’s around. I loved the two of them together with their chemistry as well as getting to know them independently. Even though this is an age gap, I feel like the author didn’t solely focus on the numbers which helped build the story more for me. I cannot wait to continue this series!

This was a great 5 star read. I really liked having both books in one. .
The author does a great job of pulling you in with her writing. Each story had great characters and chemistry.
Book 1 April Love: April was on a mission to find “the one” to help her. She sets her sights on Will, but Will wants more. Will he get what he wants or will April keep up her walls? Will meddling exes get in the way?
Book 2 Monica’s Manhunt: Monica is also on her own mission. She is in search of her happily ever after, again.. Matt doesn’t seem to be the one she is looking for, but she can’t resist him. Will Monica find what she is looking for?
Overall I really enjoyed this read. All of the characters were great and all of the secondary characters added a great element to the story. The character chemistry came off of the pages.. We get love, romance, steaminess and so much more. I am looking forward to reading more from this author. 1-click and get started today.

Double Delight: The Complete Series
Everyone deserves happiness and second chances, we get both of these in this book.
The first book is April and Will’s story. She has recently moved home after a horrible breakup. She is looking for Mr. Right for the night and sees her crush from high school Will. He approaches her and things progress from there.
The second book is Monica and Matt’s story. They meet when they are thrown together to plan a party of sorts, but nothing gets planned that first night, but so much does happen.
I enjoyed each of these books and good grief there were some pretty hot moments, the night on the barn comes to mind. If you’re looking for a good escape from reality then I recommend you give this a try.

Another great read in this series! While this is the second book, it can be read as a standalone as it focuses on a different set of people. There are appearances from book 1 in the series though so you can continue to catch up on their lives too!
This is an age gap romance that is a very slow burn, yet tender. Stephanie has had a crush on Ted for a long time now. Ted’s a little sweet on Stephanie but he’s afraid that he’d be rejected because of the age difference.
This story reminded me a little bit of my own love story. My hubby and I have a significant age gap in years and we were both fearful of the other’s feelings about that at first.
I look forward to more great stories by this author!

I’ve read the previous book in this series and this second one did not disappoint! Great storyline, relatable characters as well as their situations, and clean type affection is what to expect from this story as well! Continuing the stories of those from Kincaid Ranch, this story focuses on Ted and Stephanie. Ted, older and experienced, has been helping at the ranch for quite some time now seeking a new beginning. His mindset is strictly working life. When his family come to visit him along with his five year old niece, he realizes he’s got his hands full and reaches out for help from Stephanie, a much younger teacher, has been attracted to Ted for the last couple of years but ends up being such a nervous wreck around him. I do enjoy reading romance stories with age gaps and especially this being a clean romance can focus on the possibility of physical attraction and deeper emotions.

That is until a misunderstanding has Lynn telling Joey off and a year later he finds himself back in Lynn’s life.
Joey knows there is something special about Lynn and he is taking his chance. He will have to deal with the brothers and there is a new threat trying to destroy what they are building. Joey isn’t letting go this time though, he is playing for keeps.
My favorite in the series so far. Lynn is a delight she is so direct and I found the interaction between her and Joey entertaining. Great series, one to pick up and has a ton of unique characters you will come to love.

This is a age gap small town romance with some drama and definite slow burn….Catch A Cowboy is Book 2 of the Match Made in Montana series. While this book would be read as a stand alone, I do recommend reading the series from the beginning as characters are intertwined. I did enjoy the story of Stephanie and Ted….I was hoping for a bit more “feels” that I love of romance when two people whom are meant to be together.
Ted Stirling is definitely not looking for love. He works at the Kincaid Ranch…….cowboy life. Ted never expects to be anything more than just friends with Stephanie Patricks, who is working as a kindergarten teacher at the local school. When Ted’s sister is asked to help with his niece while she packs up her life and move back home with him….it can be a big adjustment for Ted to care for his niece in her mothers temporary absence. Stephanie has had her eyes on Ted for quite a long time, but feels he does not have the same feelings like she does. Teaching at the local school, Stephanie is nurturing and caring toward her students and when Ted’s niece comes to class as a new student, makes her feel welcomed. Things get a bit hairy with timing, Stephanie helps Ted when she can to make a smooth transition for his niece.
As Ted and Stephanie get to know each other, sometimes the past holds them back and constant thoughts on their age gap…..but when an emergency occurs…will Ted see his feelings and what his heart wants with Stephanie…..
Definitely read and find out. This is a good story and I am looking to see what is next in this series,

Bad Enough is the second novel in the Deadman’s Tribe series by author Nicole Craig. Sylvan, an author, has been chatting with TB, an information specialist, researching her next book. After a few months chatting as their alter egos, Lobo feels connected to Flame even though they’ve never met in real life. TB and his Tribe team are hired by the father of a girl who goes missing at the club he frequents as Lobo. While TB’s team is finding out about Lobo and the club, Sylvan is receiving ominous messages from someone in her past. She’s hiding something and TB vows to get the information from her. Will TB be able to get the information without breaking Sylvan? Will Sylvan ever trust TB with the truth and her heart? Will they be able to move forward with each other and leave their past behind them?
So many things I loved about this book. Suspense, secrets, spice, and for me the perfect amount of BDSM. I don’t particularly enjoy the more hardcore BDSM books but this book really showed the trust that goes into a healthy dominant/submissive relationship. I felt like the author found the perfect blend of spice and plot for me, which is hard to do. I’m looking forward to reading more books from Nicole Craig!

Thought the book was well written and loved by a 5 year old. The book is about 3 friends….. Soara, Lulu and Zanie. Soara can only fly during recess but her friends miss playing with her at recess. Like playing ball her and swinging on the swings. When she hears the bell ring she knows she must get back in time before it’s too late.

Homicidal Innocence by V.J. Lee. This book was WOW! I made the mistake of reading it while house/dog sitting for my brother at his house in the woods by myself! I was awake most of the night. I did not want to put this thrilling romance down. Its the story of a child killer who was sent away and they thought they had fixed him. They were wrong. He was a killer to his core and it would never change. Maya is a nanny in the fancy, rich world of Diamond Valley and while most people are being a nanny for the money Maya is in it for the kids. She loves children and she’s in college for child psychology. She wants to help kids in need. While money and secrets flow in this valley Maya is only concerned about helping kids when a serial killer gets too close Maya begins to work with Detective Cole in trying to find this guy before someone else dies. What Maya doesn’t know is the killer May have her in his sights. I loved this book it is my favorite genre and I hope this author writes another one soon.

Amy’s Betrayal: An LGBTQIA+ Arthurian, Urban Fantasy by Julia Goldhirsh

Amy’s Betrayal is the second intriguing book in the Gemstone Massacre series. Make sure to read the first book Amy’s Rebellion as the books follow on. The series is an intriguing New Adult dark fantasy stories. I would also strongly suggest reading War of the Twin Swords before these two as it tells of the war and clans.
Julia packs a lot into her tales that keeps the reader engaged right the way through she has also written characters that are LGBTQIA+ inclusive. There are strong FMC’s and a cast of many with different cultures to wrap your head around that can be a bit much at times trying to remember it all. This urban fantasy story has Arthurian legends with a twist that make it that much more interesting.
Amy’s Betrayal is easily imaged due to Julia’s rich and vivid telling. With drama, action, and suspense, magic, magical lands, friendship, enchantress’s, assassins, gemstones, familiars, seers, evil intensions, a corrupt Magic Council, and shifters there is much for paranormal fantasy lovers to enjoy.
Amy can’t trust all around her and finds she needs to step up and take control before all is destroyed. God help anyone or anything that stands in her way.

Opposite Day for Dinopotamus by Lois June Wickstrom. This is my favorite children’s author so I knew I had to read this cute book to my 6 year old nephew. He loved it. Its full of cute illustrations and always a a lesson is included. When Dinopotamus gets to school he learns its opposite day and the teacher tells them they will learn to tell the difference in opposites. They are given different shapes of letters and fonts that are so fun for the kids. This is probably best for kids ages 4-8 and would make a great gift for the child in your life.

Opposite Day for Dinopotamus is a children’s book by Lois Wickstrom. While Dinopotamus is at school, his teacher informs the class that it is Opposite Day. Whatever the teacher says, the class must do the opposite. This book is a fun way to teach children about opposites. Plenty of fun examples show children examples of doing the opposite of what is said. There are also plenty of fun illustrations to enjoy.

Homicidal Innocence is an intense very well-crafted psychological thriller with a little added romance.
So well done that even when I was sure I had it figured out I was wrong. I did a lot of second guessing on this one. Characters are well written, likeable even. This book was so twisted, yet all the twists and turns were done so nicely, so complex and intense that I felt on the edge of my seat most of the time. I can definitely say one of the top books I have read this year.
The Fallen Man: A Heartwarming Holiday Romance Set in the 1990s by Cat Treadgold

Unfortunately, this is the fifth, and final book to The Olympic Peninsula series. Read the books in order otherwise you don’t get an idea of who the others in the family are. All our favourite characters from the other four books are back.
Set at Christmas time we get all the senses of this magical time of year as the O’Connell’s celebrate together. With a cast of many complex characters and several plots Cat has done a great job of pulling it all together in one well-woven drama filled tale.
Edward is the eldest brother to the O’Connell clan and has walked away from his faith and is trying to find himself.
Lisette owns a café in the small town but is a haunted woman. She is hiding a lot of secrets with a past that would make the devil look good.
This compelling read was done well and is an engrossing conclusion to this series.

Homicidal Innocence by VJ Lee is unlike anything that I have ever read and need to stay for an author to write a book like this, truly has TALENT. The twists and turns leave you shocked and through all this you are in the mind of a child killer. Every character is so complex from Maya, the sweet nurse, to Detective Cole Silverthorne who is hard as nails and John the nerdy neighbor who knows more than he is letting on. You dive into this story that leaves you at the edge of seat and not wanting to stop reading because you HAVE to know WHO the killer is.
THIS IS SIMPLY a great read that you will not put down, and I know I want to read more by this author because WOW, my mind was blown!
Raccoon Reunion by Terri Sabol

Raccoon Reunion captivates and entertains young minds and had my grandson’s full attention. I like that they learn from Terri’s stories opening them up to immeasurable possibilities.
This is a delightful picture book that tells the tale of one raccoon who is unsure of his outing and overcomes his fear of the unknown and the value of helping others. This cute story becomes even more dimensional with the beautiful illustrations by Pei Jen.
A great addition to a school library, library, or in the family home.
