When I started reading this book, I expected a lighthearted and fun story that involved reliving teenage years. I thought it would be an easy read with a great romantic storyline. And while it definitely felt like the book delivered on all that, but also offered a depth and emotion to the story that I wasn’t expecting. It added a whole other layer to the story that made it so much more enjoyable to read.
I loved all of the characters in this story. They were so well interwoven and found them all to be so relatable, but in entirely different ways. It was great to see the main character embrace her old teenage life, in a way I bet many of us wish we could go back and do. This is a brilliant book and my favourite from this author so far.
