Tessa and James’ story had me hooked pretty quickly! This is book 2 in the London Detective Agency series and I cannot wait to get to know more characters better and dive into book 3!

Tessa has opened a new bakery and is expecting the norm as far as budgeting, hard work, and building a customer base. What she didn’t expect was for business to be so booming she got a stalker out of the deal. This leads her to James, a VERY hot private investigator. He’s so hot he has to continually remind his clients (and now himself, thanks to the appearance of Tessa) that he DOES NOT DATE CLIENTS.
Historically, James stays busy but relaxed helping his clients solve their cases, but although his schedule is booked he cannot resist the pull Tessa has on him. Tessa has no need for such a rule to not date clients, but even if she did…the chemistry between the two of them keeps you reading.

Very well written, great story telling, wonderful character building, and it keeps you on the edge of your seat between the case and the chemistry between the MCs! Excellent read!
