Their human family learns why Oscar and Emmy need to visit the vet regularly, like the family takes care of their own health. The author writes helpful tips for keeping pets safe and healthy so that kids can understand what a vet visit includes. The illustrations are beautiful and added tips on how the kids can help caring for pets are wonderful.
