I love the way Sabol takes such an educational approach to pet ownership while also having such a great and relatable storyline for kids. In this installment in the series, Abby and Charlie need to take Oscar and Emmy to the vet for their yearly checkup. This story walks the readers all the way through a typical vet visit for a checkup while also talking about how pets may feel while at the vet. Again, I love the educational aspect of this story and the illustrations are phenomenal.
