The Chaos Clock: Tales of Cosmic Aether edited by Danielle Ackley-McPhail – Review by Kerry Carr
The Chaos Clock by Danielle Ackley-McPhail
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
This is a unique collection of short stories by 13 different authors. Most of these authors were new to me and it was a pleasure to read their stories. Each story is different and unique in their own way but they all are thought provoking . Each story is to do with time and the effect this has on our life’s and the dangers that happen when we try to control or change time.
All the stories deal with chaos, destruction and madness. It gives you an insight into the danger that could happen if we were to give into the madness.
Some of the stories I found a little hard to get into at first but I am so glad I kept reading else I would have missed out on some amazing stories.
This is definatley a book you could settle down with a lose yourself and lose hours of the day as the stories twist and turn. I couldn’t put it down the stories were so gripping.
I will definitely be keeping my eye on some of the authors in this anthology to see what else they produce.
If you love stories that are so thought provoking that they mess with your mind, contain twist and turns that you don’t see coming and keeps you hooked for hours then this is definately the collection for you. There is something for everyone in this anthology.
