G is for Gossamer by Miss Whitaker 5 stars Very beautifully illustrated! Love the words and loved how my girls tried repeating them when I said them. They were super excited about the pictures as well. I liked how it had the definition of each word at the end of the book. Kaleidoscope was my favorite.

This story has great characters. They are well developed and enjoyable to follow. The town of Prospect describes a place I can visualize and would like to visit. This is an easy to read book.

I don’t know if I loved this story more because I’m a gramma now and can totally see me doing this with my grandkids or if this story is just super cute! Either way I enjoyed reading it and wondering where Gramma was going to turn up next. The illustrations were perfect for the story and engaging for young and old readers alike. Can’t wait to read to my 2 yr old granddaughter!

Forever to Fall is the fifth book in the Buckeye Falls series. This is a Second chance romance that I absolutely loved reading. I’ve truly enjoyed reading this series and this might be my favorite yet. Oh Mallory and Beckett these two know how to pull the heartstrings. These two when they were much younger had a pretend wedding that neither one ever forgot. Fast forward a bit and now that they are adults it’s seems they both have the same thoughts. With an upcoming wedding these two are thrown into maid of honor and best man duties that brings them closer together. They find themselves dating in secret. What happens next you must read to find out. I can’t recommend this book enough. I’m looking forward to reading more from this Author.

Reading books by Tricia Gardella is delightful. We have grown to love her books. This one in particular would be fun to read the Littles Grandma. This book is colorful and has whimsical illustrations and easy to read text, capturing the essence of a grandparent’s playfulness and the joy they bring into a child’s life. It shows her vibrant and adventurous spirit. It’s also engaging and entertaining for young readers, you can play a little game like we did and guess where they’d find Gramma next. The Littles and I look forward to reading more of the author’s books.
When I first read the title of this series, I wasn’t sure what I was getting into. But I was so intrigued. How can one not be when it’s called: The Human Mating Site. So of course I jumped in without reading what it was about. The author takes us on the ride of the main character’s life. A failed relationship, a resurgence with some promiscuous activities, while finding herself and potentially her forever. Of course nothing is ever simple and there’s some twists and turns along the way. Bella has been asked for a divorce. By a man let’s face it she doesn’t really love, but has spent the last 12 years of her life with. At her friend’s encouragement, she went out to get back on the saddle, looking for no-strings attached intimacy. Drawing the attention of Liam, Mr.Smooth. I really believed she had a profound impact on him and he would change his ways. But you will have to read and find out what happened. However, he coached and instructed her to never settle for less and that she is worth the wait. This leads Bella on an adventure to find the ultimate friends with benefits relationship. She was done with commitment. Frequenting bars, joining online dating sites, anything she could do to find what she claimed to be looking for. She met some interesting characters along the way. Some were great and some were downright awful, but one is her forever. Can you guess which one it is?

I loved being able to catch up with all of the characters and their families as well as seeing how far they have come since I was first introduced to each one.
A lot has happened over the years, but there is a lot that happens in this book. Each one has grown and changed in the best ways even if it took some longer than others.
Adrien broke my heart several times, but there is one that stands out more to me than the rest. I’m so glad he had both Raphael and his sister Celeste to support him and walk with him. I also think he is the one who grew the most over the course of this book.
I would love to see each one of these characters in the future but I also think this was the perfect way to say bye to them.
This book would be better enjoyed if you have the others since there is so much recall from the earlier books. But the intimate moments were not for the pearl clutches.

First let me say that if you are not a fan of sex scenes then this isn’t the set for you. BUT if you don’t mind them…, you have to read this book!! It is so good. When you read the book you will understand the names and let me tell you!! SO FUNNY!! So, this set of books is about a woman named Bella who is in her thirties. She’s been married for 12 years, but they have slowly drifted apart. Him more so than her, but now she’s starting all over. Now she has to navigate the dating world while healing from a failed marriage and trying to regain her self-confidence and frankly herself back. Her group of friends is awesome! They always banter back and forth, they are SO funny, and the advise! Man oh man! It’s so awesome! I laughed so much. Such a group of personalities for sure! Bella joins a dating app and jumps back into the crazy dating world. She goes on a few dates and they are all Unique in their own way. They each get their own nickname (LOL!). Read to find out more there!!!! It gets a little messy here and there, but she is determined to have fun and see who’s out there. I’m not sure which guy’s story is the best honestly. Some are so funny. Some are sad. Some are even annoying and will have you mad. But so well written!! I can see each of these unfolding. The dating waters are full of all kinds of guys and Bella sure meets some different ones!! Will Bella find Mr. Right? Or will each guy crash and burn along the way? You will not regret readying this series! It will have you literally laughing out loud. You won’t want to put it down!! I defiantly didn’t want to! I can’t wait to read more from this author. Such a great funny read with TONS steamy romance. And Bella loves steamy romance books herself, some of which have scenes she’d love to recreate! And does she???!!! Read the set to find out all the dirty details!! The author also includes a playlist in the back with songs to go with each guy and of course their “names” are there as well. Nicknames if you will. Jessica used to be an adrenaline junkie and it may or may not have gotten her into some tough spots. Of course the things she was doing at the time weren’t legal but she has turned over a new leaf. She is now a detective and doing everything by the book until the name of a youth pastor comes across her desk. There are rumors of him doing not so nice things and she wants to find out the truth. Pastor Wright is a client of the firm so it isn’t so weird for her to look into his background, but what could be uncovered? Young girls and a property owner have come up missing. She thinks she knows who is behind the disappearances but what is the cost? This was a good book jump into. I haven’t read the first book but I will definitely be picking it up to get more background on our main character.
Where’s Gramma? is a quick children’s picture book. It is geared toward younger readers, as there are only a line or 2 on each page. The illustrations help the story along. Gramma is playing hide and seek with her grandsons, always in new fun places. She is full of adventure and surprise. The story rhymes and is fun.

I like many different kinds of romances and Brooke May writes many different ones. She’s a great, multi talented author. She’s my Rhinestone Cowgirl is a western style l, second chance romance that was a great change of pace from what I’ve been reading. Trinity Redhawk and her dreams of being a rodeo queen had her leaving Shooter in her dust, but after achieving her dreams, and coming back to him can Shooter and his family forgive Trinity? After all if you release it and it comes back, it’s yours, right?

This book was a really sweet story. It’s one of those good pallet cleanser’s that you read in-between books. The romance between Scooter and Trinity was really sweet, watching them go from young love to heartbreak to second chances again in their adult life. I absolutely loved Scooter and my heart went out to him when he was struggling. The ladies in his family are definitely a force to be reckoned with! They weren’t too thrilled when Trinity had come back into Scooter’s life. But watching them grow together was heartwarming. I finished this book pretty quickly, and I loved the story telling and word building. I’m for sure going back and reading the previous books in this series!

Andrew’s Armor was not what I expected, but I enjoyed reading it to my son. Andrew is a young boy, who has a toy chest filled to the brim. One of his favorite toys is his armor- dress up. He has a helmet, shield and sword. When he has those in hand, he goes on great adventures and feels brave and courageous. But then one day he gets hurt while wearing the armor, and it looses all its magic. It takes a while for him to get it back, and with the help of scripture. This is what I did not expect- I missed the God part of the book description. Despite not being religious, the book has good meaning behind it. Most of the illustrations are wonderful, but the beginning, I thought Andrew’s parents were siblings. They look incredibly young. There are a lot of activities at the end, that I didn’t read, because again- not religious.

This was a short, straight to the point book. There wasn’t a lot of reading involved, it was mostly pictures of all the shenanigans grandma gets up too, and then shares with her family.
This story was an excellent read! It was a great horror book! I’m usually super picky about my horror and thriller books since I grew up reading Stephen King. Josh comes back to his hometown after a few things happened at college, but things aren’t exactly as it seems. The suspense was the undertone throughout the entire book. I was on pins and needles the entire time. The story was very detailed and the story building was excellent!

What a cute little story about Buddy the Blue Corgi. In the first book of the series we meet Buddy who is born looking different than his siblings. He becomes sad when he thinks being different is bad. His momma helps him to understand that being unique makes you special. I can’t wait to see what else we can learn from Buddy.

As a book and language lover, I picked this up as soon as I laid eyes on it. I hadn’t read anything by this author before, but this had all the makings of a promising book. The cover alone is simple yet eye-catching, so it should come as no surprise that the illustrations inside were just as gorgeous! Both of my kids are a little older at 8 and 12, but they still enjoyed this book as well seeing as these aren’t common alphabet books. I think it would have been nice to include the definitions on each page, but I can also understand the simplicity of only pictures. It also helps teach kids a little about context clues. I feel this would be an extraordinary addition to your home library, a classroom, or a daycare. Pick it up and share with the younger ones (and even some older ones) in your life!

You Are Special by Suzanna Lynn is the first in the Blue Corgi series. It was such a cute and fun read! The story is sweet, the pictures are beautiful and the sweet way she tells a story is wonderful. I loved reading this to my girls and they loved hearing it. Read a few more and it really is a lovely series.

This was such an amazing and suspenseful read by a magnificent author! It is the second book in the Jessica Watts Southwest Suspense series. I have enjoyed many books but this author and this one is no different! I didn’t realize it was part of a series initially, so I read it without any prior background on the plot or characters. I think it did pretty well as a standalone, but it has piqued my interest which made me circle back and pick up the first book! Prepare yourself for a rollercoaster of a thriller that had twists and turns throughout the entire story. Just when I thought I had something figured out, the author threw me a curveball! Jessica is such a phenomenal main character that is very well developed. She feels more like someone you know rather than a character in a book. The flow of the story was flawless and everything unfolded so naturally. I sat down to read it as soon as I saw the gorgeous cover and the next thing I knew, I had finished the whole thing. If you enjoy thrillers that are packed full of action, danger, and suspense, this should be your next read. I can’t wait to see what the author has in store for us next!

The one thing I really appreciate with the Buckeye Falls series is the characters are down to earth. Reading the faux wedding of sweet youth was delightful. Mallory has been so busy with her career life has gone by, perfectly paired with Beckett. Another great read from this author.

Eve Sawyer is back….with a new mystery to solve. Murder in Prospect is book 5 in the Eve Sawyer Mystery series and this is another enjoyable cozy mystery. Just when I thought I had it figured out… I like how this author takes me on a few twists and turns with suspense, secrets, drama and intrigue.
When Eve is asked by her best friend, Bob, to accompany him back to his hometown to be his support as Bob lost his Uncle Will unexpectedly. Eve brings her sleuth skills and is puzzled there is more to Uncle Will’s passing then what is led on to believe. With so many questions in the air and Bob also struggling with his grief, will Eve be able help solve the puzzle and help out her friend…
I recommend this read..its a good book to curl up to. While this book could be read as a stand alone, I definitely recommend reading this series from the beginning….and you get to know Eve more.

I’ve been eyeing this series for quite some time and finally decided to give it a try on the last one in the series. I will admit I was a bit nervous jumping into the series at the final but honestly I do not regret it! I definitely plan on reading the entire series now from the beginning. This story centers on Mallory and Beckett, who were once childhood sweethearts but with time and distance, move on with their lives but somehow emotions were deeply buried. Now into adulthood, Mallory’s brother has just announced he is marrying Cece and she ends up being the Maid of Honor along with the Best Man, Beckett. The close union brings them together along with the memories of what they once were. I absolutely love how the admiration is focused in this story but seeing how all of these characters are intertwined and their involvement and love within this small town of Buckeye Falls. Great and very entertaining read!
