Andrew’s Armor by Jill Monaco. This is such a cute book and my 6 year old nephew loved it. Its the story of a young boy named Andrew who has a toy chest full of fun stuff and his favorite is his “armor” which is a helmet, shield and sword. When he has these things on he feels like he can do anything and everything with any problems whatsoever! One day when he has his “armor” on he gets hurt and he no longer believes in the magic of his “armor”. This brings about the bible part of the story. It teaches kids that they have to believe with faith that they will be protected and God will protect them. I absolutely loved this book and the fact that it had a religious touch made it even more special! Go get this book for all the young children in your life. You will be so glad you did!
This modern story is told from the perspective of our protagonist, Bella. After 12 years of marriage, Bella finds herself newly single and feeling lost. She decides that she wants to begin her new life and tries dating casually, using dating sites. Through her many encounters, she begins to understand and appreciate herself more. I found myself eager to read each new chapter, happily rooting for her to find everything that she wanted. The reader is given a pleasant and seamless blend of stories as Bella builds a new life. It’s a story of self discovery, adult friendships, heartbreak, and even just a enough relatable trauma. The spice level isn’t anything too extreme, especially for long time readers of romance, but there is definitely lots spice.
I very much enjoyed reading this book, and found myself pretty happy with the ending. If you’re looking for a story with a fairly relatable female lead, interesting characters and some spice, I’d recommend giving it a read.

Wilde – Review by April Rose
I’m not a big fan of horror thrillers but I found this to be a real page turner. Josh and his loyal dog return to his small hometown after some disappointments and mishaps at college. However, Midnight Falls is not the pleasant town he remembers from his childhood. Josh feels like an outsider now and there is a sinister evil feel about the place. He believes there is something dark and chilling going on and doesn’t know who he can trust. Josh is also ‘butting heads’ with the sheriff who seems to have a grudge against him. As Josh is deciding whether to stay or run, the monster lurking in the dark might not let him live long enough to make his decision. This story had a sinister and chilling atmospheric feel to it, which made me feel immersed in the storyline. The plot kept me hooked and I felt the characters and setting came to life through the descriptive narrative.

Everyone is special and everyone is different! The art in this book is so beautiful and eye catching. I love reading about Buddy and his friends on the farm. The books about Buddy are so special because of the Bible verse that goes along with the story. This one was beautiful, Buddy’s mom Maddie teaching him that just because he is different looking than his sisters and brothers doesn’t make him weird, or any less special than anyone else! God knew you before you were formed!

This one made me a little teary. I get sensitive when it comes to animals feeling unloved. Buddy’s brothers and sisters get adopted before him which makes him feel like nobody wants him. His mom lets him know, it’s not his time yet, and Buddy immediately gets excited waiting for his forever family to come choose him, and when they do the moment is so sweet. The Bible reference here is perfect and really is beautiful when you think about it, you may think you are unworthy, unloved, or have no hope while waiting but God has plans specifically for you.

This is thirteen sexy books in one complete series. It follows the story of Bella who recently found out her husband (Mr. Wimp) has cheated on her after twelve years of marriage. Now in her 30’s she starts dating again. Quickly she finds out the dating scene has changed a lot since in the past twelve years. Bella loves a good glass of wine and a steamy romance book, and she wants to find a man like she reads in those books. Going through the motions of one-night stands and guys who only want one thing, she quickly finds out it’s not as easy as the books make it out to be.
I enjoyed reading the story of Bella and going along with her as she tries to find Mr. Right. She’s been married for so long she forgot who she was before she married Joel (Mr. Wimp). She has wonderful friends and co-workers who help her find herself along the way. It’s a steamy romance that you won’t want to put down.

Murder in Prospect (An Eve Sawyer Mystery) by Jane Suen – Review by Debora Morales
Pleasant story starting with two college friends, Bob and Eve. It is a nice read with a slow burn and build up. The characters are very interesting. Bob and Eve are best friends, who are there for each other through thick & thin. Filled with murder, mystery, and suspense in a small historic mining town.

This one is filled with action and suspense! I really enjoyed it! I highly recommend reading the series in order to get the most out of this story. We see a lot of characters from the past as the series is winding down. I liked that the author spent more time on figuring out how to stop the traitors instead of on the sex life of the two mc. They had a quick connection and thankfully others spotted it and helped them out. I like the friendships that have been built in this series. Looking forward to Lucas demise.

This is a good book that has a lot of action and suspense. I have mixed feelings about it since I did not read book 1 in the series. I highly recommend doing that first as this one has many references and carryovers to book 1. The characters are interesting. They all (well most) have unique powers that is fun to figure out. There are a few humans in here as well. I get they need a special trait to make them more but in here the character Ruiz repeatedly said the word “Chica” much to my annoyance. It looks like they are gearing up for more in this series. I am curious how relations will end up between a few character and what could happen next in the world.

“Buddy is a curious little puppy with a big personality. When he discovers he looks different than the other corgis, he feels like he doesn’t belong. However, Buddy’s momma will help him see that being different is all part of God’s plan. This was a cute children’s book, love that it helps kiddos to see different things through the eyes of a book. I think with this book that kids can learn diversity at a young age with this book. I give this book 4 stars.

“On spring break, Eve Sawyer conquers her fear of flying to help a friend, only to find herself drawn into a murder case. Her friend Bob is grieving the death of his beloved Uncle Will and feels something’s not right. It was ruled that he died of natural causes, but shortly after arriving, Eve begins to suspect foul play. No stranger to murder cases, journalism student Eve puts her sleuthing skills to use to help Bob get the answers he needs, peeling away the layers of the mystery in her hunt for the truth. As they struggle with scant evidence, a guest at the local inn is murdered. Can Eve find the killer or killers before the truth is buried beneath the small, historic mining town? Will justice be served and allow the dead to rest in peace?” Will Eve find the killers and serve justice? Will have to read the book to find out. Great cozy mystery, quick read, great characters and storyline. Really enjoyed the book. I give this book 4 stars.

I was hooked from the beginning and had a hard time putting this down. I loved Evan’s writing style and the pacing of the book was fantastic. He really allows you to get a feel for the characters and pulls you into the story and before you realize it, it’s the wee hours of the night and you’ve got to get some sleep! I loved the dark, creepiness of the tone and the downright scariness of it as well. There are so many twists and turns throughout this story that you don’t see coming. This is the perfect read for spooky season so get your copy now!

This series is great for children with pets to learn how to take care of them responsibly. This book teaches the children that they could stay inside, and with parent supervision, make healthy treats for their pets. The dogs sit patiently behind the gate smelling the pastries being made in the kitchen.
I am getting this series of books for my newborn grand daughter so that she can look at the pictures now while Mommy reads her the book and then as she gets older she can read the book herself. I love the fact that their are plenty of good recipes in the back of the book for them to make for their pets.

I read Deceptively Yours and loved it, so you know I had to read Forbiddenly Yours! This book has such good tropes: TeacherxStudent, secret relationship, forbidden love, and the spice *muah!* Chefs kiss! When I say this book is spicy… it is spicy!!! There is no waiting for it either, which is the best part!
Nicole- Father, uncle, and brother are all Titans and know about the world. She has a hot and steamy one-night stand with Callum in Costa Rica thinking she wouldn’t see the person again. When she enters her English lit class the teacher just so happens to be Mr. One Night Stand and the mind f*cking starts, pun intended! She pushes his button in many ways from being argumentative to making him jealous by getting too close to a classmate.
Callum- Titan who is in his second year as a teacher at the college Nicole transfers to. At first he tries to push his thoughts about Nicole away, even telling her it can’t happen again and demanding she drops his class, but that ends up going all down the drain. Even though he knows he can’t publicly claim her, he doesn’t want anyone else to either.
This was such a great read that I couldn’t put the book down! I can’t wait until the next book in the series comes out!!!

Forever to Fall by Libby Kay, is the 5th book in the buckeye fall series. This is an Amazing book, Beckett is a funny relatable guy who is messy, clumsy, funny, and very relatable. Mallory is very much a homebody and is very much obsessed with French bread pizzas. Together I got to deep dive into their friendship and story on how they met each other and became friends. Their relationship that had some bumps. Libby masterfully weaves this story together and created an amazing story making me laugh out loud on multiple occasions and I may have kicked my feet, it’s so cute. And as cute as it was sometimes I wanted to shake them, Libby got me so engrossed in the story I found it very difficult to put down and I would read it again.

Great short story. Doesn’t take very long to read but does have a decent amount of description. The story progresses fairly quickly but still keeps you interested. It’s fated mates with a twist. It follows a war between rogue vampires and shifters against other vampires, shifters, and witches. It mentions the underworld and the way vampires become vampires includes a trip to the underworld upon death. It does have some smut so read your triggers.

This is a complete series of 13 novellas all in one place. This follows Bella along on a journey to discovering herself after divorcing her husband after he cheated on her. There is so much going on here that I don’t even know where to begin to explain. Bella is trying to gain her self-esteem back and she is working on it with all she has. This is the perfect book to help you learn how to overcome your own insecurities and help you learn to put it all on the line to discover who you really are, to heck with what others may think.
I adore this series and I hope you will give it a shot.

This is definitely only for those over 18 due to the many scenes of an adult nature, including some which could be classed as triggering.
Bella is a woman on a mission, she has just found her husband cheating on her and now she is on the road to a divorce, but being in her thirties, Bella is not sure about how to even date in this modern world. She does however, have a circle of best friends who have a bit of experience and so she dives head first into the world of online dating and everything that comes with it.
Here is where we meet the 12 Mr Right Now’s and the steamy reawakening that Bella discovers with each of them from the boring, to the nice and to the kinky, there is a man for every taste she may have while she figured herself out. The ride is not a smooth one though and some of the most enlightening moments aren’t exactly the best ones, but you have to take the good with the bad right?
This is a very steamy set of romance novellas where one woman finds herself through a journey of self discovery and all the highs and lows associated with it, so prepare yourself for a wild ride and a lot of spice!

Bijou Augustine is a woman who is struggling to keep her life and business together which has become harder each year since she lost the love of her life, but now she is reaching breaking point. As the youth centre she has poured her heart and soul into becomes more of a burden than a blessing, she has to endure the embarrassment of cold calling for donations and suffer the rejection which people dish out without a care for the person on the other end of the phone.
While she is dealing with this, her teenage daughter is full of the joys of puberty including mood swings and arguments, but there are beams of light when she sometimes says the odd nice thing or comes up with a good idea. Fortunately for Bijou, her daughter finally takes some initiative and this helps more than she could ever expect when a phone call comes through with a deep, rumbling voice at the other end who just so happens to also be a repair man.
This one phone call could be the answer to her prayers, especially when she meets this mountain of a man for the first time and is immediately put at ease by his agreement to help out with fixing up the youth centre. The only issue is that he doesn’t want any money for it, this is compounded by the fact that he is the first man that Bijou has even found attractive since her husband passed, but she is awkward and can sense that he is healing too.
Will Bijou be able to save her centre and figure out how she feels about her tall, dark and extremely handsome repair man, all while trying to come up with a plan to save her and her husband’s life’s work? This is a sweet romance with a little spice thrown in where secrets come into light as prayers for the end of struggles are made, all while hope blossoms in this story of finding love after loss.

Good Things Take Time is the second book in the Buddy the Blue Corgi series by Suzanna Lynn. It is another sweet story that encourages patience- as waiting can be hard, and frustrating, but we need wait, and to trust that everything is going to plan and will turn out the way it’s meant to. The story comes with very cute, bright, colourful, and engaging illustrations that help to bring the story to life and reinforce the important messages. As with the first book, this finishes with a scripture passage that helps to reinforce the messages in this book.

This was a cute clean romance that I enjoyed from page one. Even though this is the 5th book in the series, it can be read as a standalone. The characters are interconnect but the author wrote this well enough that you’re not left thinking you’re missing something from previous books. This was a childhood friends to lovers story and I absolutely adored the mcs. They’re thrown together for family wedding festivities and starks fly. They keep things secret for a while but learn that having a secret in a small town is very hard. I was rooting for them the entire time and happy they got their HEA. I am looking forward to reading more by this author in the future! Happy Reading!

Anise Storm has done it again with this second book in the Titans of Chicago series! Not only does she bring the heat of romance, but she also has intrigue and suspense to accompany the plot. I love that she takes the time to develop the characters into such realistic, well-rounded people and puts them into situations that could happen in reality. The descriptions of college life on campus, and the interactions between fellow college students and the teachers are spot on. This book will grab your attention the moment the two main characters meet on a vacation retreat. I love that this series doesn’t just focus on the lead male roles of the Titans, but it showcases how strong the women are in the family as well. This book has so many crazy surprises that will have you gritting your teeth as you progress through the story. Read on to find out if Callum and Nicole can make their student/teacher romance work or if they are doomed to fail right from the start. Happy reading everyone, until next time my friends! Bijou is a widow left to raise her daughter alone in a small town after suffering the loss of her husband. His dream was to run a youth center in his town, and Bijou is struggling to continue to receive enough donations in order to keep it open to honor him.
Noah is a widow left to raise his son after his wife was killed by a drunk driver – he ran to the mountains of the same small town to escape the media when they realized who he was and continued to hound him after the death of his wife. He was also a friend of Bijou’s husband, Eli.
As Bijou struggles, she reaches out to Noah out of desperation to see if he can help make a repair in the center due to being Eli’s friend. Noah agrees, and then notices how many other things need repairs while he’s there. The chemistry that is pulling them together like a magnet inspires Noah to offer his time and help to her free of charge, and he can’t seem to make himself stay away from her. As the story progresses, it takes us through many highs and lows as they navigate life as single parents, life as widows, and life as they are brought together to a person who feels so much like their other half.
Fantastic world-building, story-writing, character development…I’m a big fan!

Such an easy and fast read. I highly recommend this book. I was conflicted on whether to praise or be mad at Bijou. She’s doing the best she can with the hand she is dealt. Raising her teenager alone because her spouse has passed away. She is on her own facing all these challenges.

Enjoyable steamy box set about finding yourself and your “happily ever after!”
The book begins with the demise of Bella’s 12-year marriage. While Bella is hurt, she knows deep down that her marriage has been in trouble for a long time. She discovers that her marriage is one of stability and not passion. As she adjusts to being single, she realizes she has lost her self-identity. When she decides to date again, she is in for a rude awakening…the rules have changed dramatically since she last dated.
Her journey to find her “Mr. Right” is steamy and, at times, hilarious! Each novella is about a man she meets. Some of them are great guys, and some aren’t so great! She discovers more of who she is with each new man, and I love her relationships with her friends.
She finally finds her “happily ever after,” and he is truly worthy of her. As much as I loved reading about her escapades, I loved seeing her become the person she was meant to be.

Wilde – Review by Christie Mitchum
The Human Mating Site, Complete Series by B.L. Wilde is an excellent collection of novellas that chronicle the main character’s dating life post divorce. I loved every single minute of this book. From the very realistic dissolution of Bella’s marriage to the very end we are watching her personal growth in a heartwarming and often humorous way. While the writing in this collection is really good with great characters, my FAVORITE part is Bella’s internal monologue. She is an incredibly witty, fun character that you truly root for. The men in this collection range from intriguing to cringy and everything in between. If you are looking for a steamy, humorous and entertaining series, I recommend the full collection all at once!
