Strings Attached by Loriana Cappello
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
4.5 out of 5 stars. This is a contemporary romance between high school friends who always had a crush on one another, but never acted on it. They reunited in their last year of college, where she’s very focused on school, and he’s focused more on music, and her. Will their decisions drive to follow their dreams yet stay together them apart? This book was not your typical ‘rockstar’ romance, the author made it believable and relatable, and overall, very enjoyable read. It is set in the UK, so you get to read the British accent, which to me, was entertaining. I’ve been burnt out on the contemporary romance scene, but this book changed my feelings about that. Well written, highly recommend.
