An enjoyable and engaging contemporary romance which kept me happily turning the pages. Having promised affordable and reliable childcare to her co-workers, marketing manager Anna Turner can’t let them down. A hostile takeover of the building threatens her plans. When architect and property developer Hunter Thompson learns what his father has planned for a building owned by a family he’s close to, he out-manoeuvres his father and buys the property himself. Anna is angry when she learns Hunter is behind her plans not working out. Having told him about her plans for her ideal childcare centre, Hunter offers her a new lease as long as they work together. As their professional relationship develops into a more personal one secrets from their past have devastating consequences. This was a heartwarming romance with an intriguing storyline and likeable and relatable characters. It can be read as a standalone story but some of the characters do appear in the previous books in this series.

I really enjoyed this story! I’m very stingy when giving books a 5 Star rating but I definitely feel like this children’s book deserves it! I first read this book on my own and immediately loved it. However, then I had to give it the true test. I had to read it to my 3, 6 and 8 year old children. Guess what! THEY ALSO LOVED IT! Gadrella is a world changer. She didn’t like it so she took charge of her own decisions and changed the narrative. We love a strong willed female role model in this house.

I highly recommend this book that helps teach children to be themselves.

Betrayal is the third book in the Choosing Family Series. This is a Contemporary Romance that I truly enjoyed reading. I’ve read several books by this author and this may be my favorite yet. The characters are fully developed and creative and made me feel like I was apart of the story. This is packed with, drama, secrets, Betrayal and so much more. This is Ana and Hunters story. Anna is the Marketing manager who promised reliable yet affordable childcare for her coworkers and she might have been slightly under pressure. Hunters smells Betrayal and buys the building himself. One doesn’t do Hookups where the other won’t risk long term. Can these two make something happen? When secrets are revealed things change. I highly recommend reading this book to find out what happens next. I look forward to reading more from this Author.

This is a series that I have really enjoyed so far and I think this book has to be my favourite yet! I loved the characters in this book. They are both at such different stages of their life but the connection between them is undeniable. They have really strong chemistry and the slow build romance just adds to this.
The story was really good too. It fit the characters so well and I was invested from start to finish. I thought it was entertaining to watch the push and pull between the characters. This is an thoroughly enjoyable book and I am looking forward to the next in the series.

Seeing two people who have been hurt and betrayed by the ones they have loved; grow and communicate and fall in love with each other is truly awesome to read. You get to witness both Kate and Liam grow together with their own personal conflicts as well with each other.

I found that this book for me gives insight and hope that trust and communication can go a long ways. I enjoyed this book a lot and can’t wait to see what happens in the next one with another character from this book.

This is not my first introduction to this author. After reading a couple of other books from this author, I 100 percent wanted to dive onto this series. Schneider’s characters and amazing world gets more interesting and complex throughout the three books, and I love it! The trilogy explores power, sacrifice, and the complexities of Shinree nature within the richly built magical world. The series has an intricate plot, well-developed characters that will keep you intured from start to finish. As you read you can expect an engaging mix of adventure, intrigue, and emotional depth throughout the trilogy. Schneider’s world-building is impressive, creating a vivid and immersive setting that will draw you in.The trilogy effectively balances action and emotional depth, with well-crafted subplots that enrich the main storyline. Also with the power, sacrifice, and redemption resonate throughout, making the characters’ journeys feel both personal and relatable. And If you’re interested in epic fantasy with strong character development, this might be a great choice! If you haven’t read this yet I highly suggest you do! Magic Price, Magic Scars, and Magic Bourne follow Troy’s journey, a suspense filled one with some real emotional feels to it.

This book was great! It is the 3rd book in the series but can be read as a standalone. This is a sports romance with mature characters named Nico & Chloe. They were great. The banter between the two of them was awesome and I enjoyed seeing them come together and overcoming the struggles that they faced.
This duo of authors was great. The story was seamless and I know I would absolutely read anything they put out because I enjoyed this book alot.
I would recommend this to anyone that like sports romances, witty banter and characters that are aged like fine wine.

Heaven Only Knows is book three in The Silver-Buckle Brides contemporary romance novel series. I’ve read book two, and really enjoyed it, but haven’t made it back to book one yet. They can all be read as stand alone novels, although the characters are interconnected, the MMC’s are all brothers. Barrett is a lawyer and Agata is a singer and they couldn’t be more different, but through it all will fate prevail? I really enjoy the authors story’s and her writing creates a phenomenal, smooth flowing story that pulls all of your heartstrings.

This book is an emotional rollercoaster from start to finish. The author has effortlessly and effectively wrote the turmoil that the characters had to go through before they were in a place to love and be with each other. I enjoyed that journey.

Ash’s band is on the cusp of making it big and he needs to start making some hard decisions. Calla and Ash start spending more time together. Will their young love be able to handle all the obstacles thrown their way?

I enjoyed this first visit to Braebeach. Calla and Ash’s story is a sweet tumble into love when neither of them were looking for it. As always there’s outside influences and turmoil throughout the book. Overall the book flowed well. Both the main characters and side characters are well written. Can’t wait to read more from this author.

I honestly did not know if I would like this book. I love paranormal romance and romantasy, but MM is not normally in my TBR. However, I was pleasantly surprised! The narrator is the sassy vampire Quinnlan, and I love that the author has him speak to the reader. It’s not something I see frequently, but it definitely helped suck me into the story.

At forty-four pages, this is a quick read, and I admit that I wish it were a little longer. I’d love to learn more about paranormal purgatory. Every ten years one lucky individual is chosen to be sent back to Earth. The catch? They have to find their mate. The hard part? They only have three days to do it. Yikes. I’ve been through multiple husbands, and they were all wrong after years…I’d be sent right back to purgatory at the end of those three days.

I’d happily read more books by this author, and I feel like this is a good book for those (like me) who are first-time readers of MM romance. Also, the epilogue neatly wraps things up, so you’re not left with a hangover or wondering what happens with the characters in the future!

MISTAKEN IDENTITY
I really enjoyed book 1. The fast-paced, action-packed journey of Evelyn and Patrick is enjoyable and full of emotions.There’s crime drama, relationship building and drama, international travel drama, suspense, and so much more! Lots of drama, but in the best way! I thought this was a very entertaining story and I am definitely excited to read book 2 in the series!

BE MY LITTLE BABY
Well, book 2 in the London Detective Agency series did not disappoint. I enjoyed book 1, and book 2 was also so good! The dynamics between Tessa and James were sizzling and I actually loved the more relatable storyline when compared to book 1. Having Evie and Patrick in the sequel connected the stories and was a great continuation from book 1. Lots of fun characters to follow and learn about, but Tessa and James were wonderful and I loved how they dealt with each obstacle as it came along. I will be recommending this series to other book fans for sure. Warning, you will be craving pumpkin bars by the end of the book!

With this being the first book I had picked up by this author, I wasn’t exactly certain what I was getting myself into. The cover grabbed my attention, and the synopsis piqued my interest. It took me some time to find my reading groove, but once I did there was no stopping! The author weaves a mesmerizing tale of ambition, destiny, and love set against a richly imagined fantasy backdrop. Petra is a phenomenal character as our determined heroine and feels compelled to go on quest. It ends up being not only about revenge, but a journey of self-discovery and courage. Once we were introduced to Rand, I was incredibly intrigued and the tension between him and Petra is unmatched. The characters are well-developed, the plot is gripping, and the emotional depth is palpable. If you’re looking for a tale of magical realism intertwined with romance and a bit of spice, you’ll enjoy this book. I highly recommend for fans of fantasy and romance alike!

Love and Fate (A Braebeach Rockstar Romance) by Loriana Cappello. This is the 2nd book in the Braebeach Rockstar series and I highly recommend reading the 1st book before this one. In the 1st book Angie is left by Tommy when he hits the big time with his band and event tells her not to make him feel guilty. What a jerk and in this book is set 5 years later and Angie is married and has moved on. Tommy is also a single dad going thru a very messy divorce and the band is not in a good place. When they meet up again the old feelings come back and Tommy doesn’t plan on letting Angie go again. Angie is pregnant with her husband but he is not good to her at all and when she finally gets the courage up to leave the one person there for her is Tommy. Will she give him the second chance he so desperately wants? This is a slow burn, second chance romance and it will hit all your emotions! Tommy’s ex is a horrible person and I wished bad things on her several times. Be sure and read the 1st book before this one to get the best experience with this book! Can’t wait for the next!

I think we can all relate to not feeling like we are where we should be in one aspect or another, and this book is all about that. One of the things that I loved about it, is how the author tells us right up front that there is nothing new in this book, this is just his telling of advice and tips that have been told countless times over the years.
I really enjoyed reading this, and found it helping me to feel less anxious about how my life is turning out. I hope others read this, and find some peace knowing that it’s ok that they “haven’t arrived” yet.
I’ll definitely be looking up more by this author, his wit and insight into every day life puts a refreshing spin on old advice.

The Man who dealt in death by Marlena Frank. This is the first book in the Colten Fen series. This book is a roller coaster and that’s an under statement. There are two very prominent main characters Colton and Rennick. We are introduced to the duo when Colton and Rennick are out on an assignment together. The pair are sent out to investigate a disappearance. This story is action packed and has a lot of amazing detailed fight scenes. We are also introduced to Mary who is a strong willed, independent woman, who can very much hold her own. Mary begins in on the investigation as well and is a great addition to the story. I would absolutely recommend this book again and again. Beautiful details and cohesive ideas.

It is a guide for you to embrace your own personal reflection and growth in life if you so choose. Only you know where you are in your life, where you want to be and if you have arrived and Michael is offering some tools to help you there.
“You are exactly where you are supposed to be” is the mantra I would tell my friend every day when she would get mad sitting in peak hour traffic and surprisingly, she adapted that to her whole life.
It is a personal journey that is never a straightforward road and what works for one may be different for another but there is definitely something for everyone within these pages.

Tasha and the Biologist is the second book and another lovely tale in this heartfelt women’s fiction romance series A Better Man. Even though it is part of a series it could be read as a standalone.
Amy writes characters that are flawed, raw, realistic, and relatable. Tasha and Caleb were so easy to like and connect to. Neither are looking for love but they knew they had a connection from the very start, but both are still dealing with pain from their previous relationships and that may keep them apart.
Amy sets this slow burn romantic tale in a small town with a beautiful Wildlife Preserve which is easily imagined and the perfect place for bird enthusiasts and setting for falling in love.
There is vulnerability, courage, strength and beauty in this heartwarming tale.
Is love worth falling for no matter the timing? You will have to read this book to find out.

Having read and enjoyed the previous books in this series of historical cozy mysteries, I was looking forward to this latest instalment. I was excited to be back with the extremely likeable eleven year old amateur sleuth Sparky. Once again the Depression era of the 1930’s was brought vividly to life through the descriptive narrative, and added historical details. Our heroine Sparky has stowed away on an ocean liner and is out at sea. When she is discovered she becomes involved in a dangerous case of mistaken identity. Meanwhile, the other passengers appear to be ex-silent movie actors heading off to revive their careers in a mysterious film project. Sparky is missing both her guardian Tootsie and even her ex-boss Bookie, and wonders if she will ever see them again. Sparky must investigate when a passenger tumbles overboard under strange circumstances, and the other passengers become suspicious of her. This humorous mystery adventure once again kept me hooked throughout. I love Sparky as the main character and hope she will be back with a new adventure soon!

This is the second in the series but can be read as a standalone. The story is well written and the characters relatable and able to pull you out of the real world and help forget you aren’t part of the story world.
You’ve got big city girl meets small town boy, and all the stubbornness you would expect from the pairing. There’s plenty of bickering, plenty of laughs, and lots of steaminess.
When I read a book, one of the things that I love is when I can forget I’m reading and can so clearly see the story playing out. This book 100% delivered that.
I would recommend this story and author to anyone, I really don’t think you will be disappointed.
