Calla comes home for summer break from university. She runs into Ash and they are both reminded of their crushes from years ago. Ash’s band is on the cusp of making it big and he needs to start making some hard decisions. Calla and Ash start spending more time together. Will their young love be able to handle all the obstacles thrown their way?

I enjoyed this first visit to Braebeach. Calla and Ash’s story is a sweet tumble into love when neither of them were looking for it. As always there’s outside influences and turmoil throughout the book. Overall the book flowed well. Both the main characters and side characters are well written. Can’t wait to read more from this author.
