A Spot of Earl Slay (Tea Time Troubles Book 1) by Aubrey Elle – Review by Emily H
A Spot of Earl Slay by Aubrey Elle
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
After a contentious divorce, Naomi Front and her teenage daughter move to Fayette to start over. What they do not expect to see when they arrive is a dead body. With her daughters vast knowledge, from crime shows, she finds her opinions on the crime embraced by locals Barbara and Ingrid. As they investigate and Naomi tries to keep her daughter in line, which is impossible considering her ex is making waves, they begin to close in on their suspect. Will it be too late though?
I thoroughly enjoyed this one. Ella, she is a bit of snark and blunt to the point opinions which has Naomi pulling her hair out in times. Cozy mysteries I enjoy, but have not really found one I would read again, this one I would. It had a little bit of everything I love in a mystery book and humor as well.
