This is not your run of the mill vampire love story. The author does a beautiful job weaving her tale through flashbacks, plot twists, and intriguing characters. I found myself entranced by the story and read it in one sitting. I am so thankful that this is book one in a series; I am anxiously awaiting the opportunity to read book two!
