“The Ghostly Diva” by Sandra L. Young is the third book in the Divine Vintage series. It can be read as a stand-alone, but I encourage you to read the others in the series as they are also great! The story revolves around Justine Saunders, an assistant Museum Director in the small town of La Porte, Indiana. Justine loves her job but is concerned about the county pulling funding from the museum, leaving its future uncertain.

Jackson Maddox is a screenwriter from LA. His mother, actress Liza Maddox, a hometown girl made good, has recently passed away, leaving Jackson to come back to La Porte and deal with the estate that belonged to his grandmother and mother. When he calls the museum to see if they are interested in any of her clothes and personal effects, Justine jumps at the chance to curate a display for the museum about Liza.

A snowstorm causes them to be trapped in the old house overnight, much to the dismay of Justine, who finds Jackson to be rude and dismissive of her and her hometown, even if he is very attractive. The appearance of Liza as a ghost is just the icing on the cake of a long and wearying day!

Justine gets caught up in the family secrets and does her best to help Liza and Jackson find closure and move on, all the while fighting the attraction she feels for Jackson as she knows he will be gone soon.

I think this is the best book of the trilogy. It is well-written, with great characters and development. I liked that the characters from the first books make an appearance too.
