Two best friends go on a healing trip that was previously taken over 30 years ago when they were younger around the world. Kate attempted suicide and survived after several things have happened in her life one her Ex and his wife are pregnant and the board of the company she created fired her. Lydia needs to take care of someone as she is now a retired teacher, widowed and her daughter is off to college. Both are unsure of their future and what to do next, so they go on a trip Lydia is hoping to save her friend and Kate is just getting by and trying to let go.

I absolutely loved this book! For someone who has dealt with depression I think it made it more emotional for me at times.
