Murder the Tey Way is the 2nd in the Golden Age of Mystery book club series, but it can be enjoyed as a standalone. There is some backstory of the characters- mainly Lexie and Brian’s history, as well as Lexie and Al. But, the author gives us enough details to be content if you skip book 1. Lexie finds herself in the middle of another murder investigation. I think the author did a good job keeping the readers engaged and without revealing the murderer until the end. There is a lot going on, and new character Gayle is introduced- Lexie’s sister, who finds herself as a suspect. It is a good cozy mystery that I enjoyed reading- I’ve never read any of Josephine Tey’s books.
