KD Sherrinford was born and raised in Preston, Lancashire in the UK. She  now lives on The Fylde Coast with her husband and two children. Tanya is a six-time international-award-winning Australian author of Scottish heritage. Living in the alpine region of Australia, she believes in the values of integrity, sustainability, and community in a world where we place greater value on possessions than people. She enjoys posing philosophical questions that make readers think and reflect on the world we live in.

The Antipodes series addresses the question—if we gave young people the opportunity to start over, would they replicate the mistakes of the past? The follow-up series, The Latitude series, examines life in different societal models and considers what could happen if science is allowed to determine the human condition.

She holds Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees, post-graduate qualifications in governance and management, and is an accredited company director. Tanya is an Australia Reads Ambassador and enjoys reading, traveling, mythology, and snow skiing while attempting to live sustainably with her partner and children. They are owned by a standard schnauzer, a fox-red labrador, and three rescue cats who co-manage their household.

The five-book Antipodes series comprises Project Hemisphere, The Space Between, Infinity, Circle of Protection, and Sessrumnir. The Latitude series comprises The 45th Parallel, Orenda, and Bifrost. A native of Oklahoma City, Wanda Venters, M.D. attended Yale for her undergraduate studies and returned to Oklahoma City for her medical degree. She completed her pediatric residency in San Antonio with the US Army. Retiring from her pediatric practice after three decades, she began her second career as a writer in 2019.

She lives in Colorado with her husband, two labradoodles and a Siamese cat. She has three grown children and three grandchildren. She is an avid gardener, golfs with more enthusiasm than skill and enjoys a craft beer.

         The Denver Post has published several of Wanda’s articles, but she is proudest that the Post ran a feature on her garden. She has self-published a series of children’s books, The Unicorns.

In 2021, she and her co-author, Mary Rae, published their first mystery novel, Break Bone Fever, with the small publisher, Written Dreams Publishing. This novel was a finalist in the 2022 Colorado Book Awards, mystery division.

         Mary Rae grew up in the New York city suburbs. She graduated from Colgate University before attending the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine. After residency, she moved to Texas where she practiced Emergency Medicine for twenty years. She then changed course to practice Primary Care until her retirement in 2020. Soon after her retirement from medicine, she and her husband moved to Oakland, California.

         During her time in Texas, she and her husband raised two children. While living in Houston, she enjoyed exploring the Gulf Coast. Her fascination with the area led to the idea of writing a murder mystery set in Galveston in collaboration with her friend, Wanda Venters. Break Bone Fever, published in 2021, was the result.

         Retirement has allowed Mary to spend time with her two grandchildren, to continue her lifelong quest for proficiency in Spanish and French, and, of course, to write.

Even in the angelic realms, both the fallen and unfallen variety, bets are being placed on the outcome.
Mary doesn’t have the bandwidth right now for intergalactic mysteries. She’s already time-challenged and stressed over the whole college admissions deal. Between parental admonitions about keeping her grades up, acing the SATs, adding to her extracurriculars, not to mention the day-to-day challenges of being a teenager in these trying times, there’s nothing left over to unravel the fate of humankind.
You see, Mary hasn’t figured out yet that her dirty little family secret has a price attached to it. Since the beginning of time, generation after generation, the gift has passed unbroken from mother to daughter. And the price of that gift is about to come due.

Allan Mansoor was born in Redwood City, California, and grew up in Culver City and Costa Mesa, California. Both of his parents immigrated to the United States for a better life, his father from Egypt and his mother from the Aland Islands.

He was an Orange County deputy sheriff for sixteen years. He ran for office and was elected to the Costa Mesa City Council in 2002, serving three non-consecutive four-year terms and three terms as mayor. He served on the Orange County Transportation Authority and later served two terms in the California State Legislature.

Growing up in a three-bed/one-bath house with nine siblings in Buffalo, New York, it was a just-the-facts, assembly-line type of childhood. However, one day during my tumultuous teen years in the late seventies, that all changed when my exhausted mom uncharacteristically asked several probing questions about how I was doing, what I wanted of life, and how I would get there—totally confounding me. She was supposed to dish out commands and make declarative statements: take out the trash, don’t come home unless you’re bleeding, every time you masturbate, it’s a hundred years in purgatory. She wasn’t supposed to ask me to articulate inward-looking questions. Self-examination and contemplation were light years beyond my transactional existence.

Eventually, though, due to a certain amount of aimlessness and failure, I did come to consider my mom’s questions and many more about people, time, place, and heritage, which have become the basis of three novels: Written In The Stars: The Book Of Molly (2016); Leaving Jackson Wolf (2018); and Larry Plumb Is Still Here (2024). There’s a book of essays called The Last Playlist: A Sonic Epitaph (2020). On the silly side I ask more questions at my satire website: BuffaloMud.com.

Carol’s love of animals, especially dogs and horses, is obvious in everything she writes.


 Her love of dogs and working in rescue has led her to write from the heart and through a dog’s eyes. A dog’s unconditional love for his human is what she emphasizes in her writing. Her message is clear. “If a dog can love us unconditionally, why can’t we do the same with each other?” While her latest book, Caddy’s Tale, is spiritual in nature, most of her paranormal stories are often filled with characters that might be the most difficult to love.

Carol’s love of writing and dogs began at 14 when she started telling her stories to Labrador Retrievers, Basset Hounds and any stray that happened by. It wasn’t long before people stopped to have a listen as well. Now, Carol writes for people and speaks to large audiences, dogs included.

E. Padgett is a poet and children’s author in the Pacific Northwest.  She was a student affairs professional at Everett Community College before pursuing her passion for writing and storytelling. She graduated with a B. A. in English: Professional and Creative Writing at Central Washington University. She was editor-in-chief at Manastash Literary Journal and event coordinator for Poetry Northwest. Growing up in a loud and chaotic family of eight inspired her to create stories about sibling connections and challenges.
