This was a really good read! I enjoyed this one a lot. It was sweet, romantic and at times emotional. This was fast paced which made it a pretty quick read. This is a great series and I love that each book can be read separately as a standalone so you don’t have to read the previous books in the series. I can’t wait to read the next book in this series either!

When I started reading it felt weird reading a holiday story in July, then I kept going and it wasn’t a holiday book and I ended up enjoying it.
There were 3 stories with in the book, though individuals there are also crossed with the center being Leona and her bookstore. That is where the magic happens.
Charlie and Sadie were just meant to be together. They meet at the bookstore though their paths should gave crossed several times before that fateful day.
Price and Fiona kind of broke my heart. They loved each other but life had other plans for them. They are reunited at the bookstore after several years.
Leona the unofficial match maker has helped with at least two couples (I’m betting there were more that we have no clue about) finding their happily ever after but neglected herself and her happiness.
This was a book that warmed my heart a little and was glad I picked it up.

This story is amazing. Nicco and Destiny are not in a rush to do anything together. Their chemistry is off the charts but they have both been badly hurt before and have no desire to experience that again. Can they find love together? Will they over come all of the walls they each have up? After spending weeks getting to know one another, what happens next? WONDERFUL story. Definitely worth the anticipation from chapter to chapter.

Isabella Bride of Ohio, American Mail Order Bride is not the type of book I normally read, but it sounded interested. I admit, I didn’t know American mail order brides was a thing, but it intrigued me. The topic being quite taboo, made it all the more interesting. I liked Isabella, but also felt quite bad for her situation. She has had a hard life, and she is only still a teen! I was at first astonished for her to be all alone, but then had to remember it was a different time. I enjoyed reading the book but found her very naive, falling in love too quickly. I kept waiting for something to happen. She made me think of the movie Frozen – “You can’t marry a man you just met!” But yet, Isabella met, got engaged and wed very quickly. Again, the time and situation was different then. I wasn’t much surprised by the encounter on the train but if left me wanting to know more of Tom. Who is he? What did he mean by “like a constable” but yet wasn’t one. Is he a good guy or a bad guy? The mystery behind him kept me intrigued. The author kept sprinkling more facts as the book went on, and I kind of saw the ending coming, but still enjoyed it. It wrapped up all the loose ends. The book itself was a short quick read, so I didn’t get too invested in the characters, but it was enjoyable.

I loved this books set up and idea! The author does a wonderful job creating her characters and helping the reader see them fall in love. I only wish that it had been more interspersed or that each set of characters had their own book with more detail in it. The way this is set up gives more of a short story feel, which leaves me craving more.
Happily Ever After Bookstore definitely makes you believe in the magic of a good book and I’m curious to see if we get anymore of the happy ever afters that Leona has, or will, play a part in. Great writing, great premise and I can’t wait to see what’s next!

5 Stars Levi (The Brothers of Creekside Ranch Book 1) by Edith Mackenzie
Levi is the first book in The Creekside Ranch series and a Cowboy Romance that I truly enjoyed reading. This is a fairly new author to me and I look forward to seeing what other books she has written. This is a fast paced short story that I read in one sitting because I had to know what was going to happen next. The characters are relatable and fully developed and easy to fall in love with. The storyline flowed so well that I felt like I was apart of the story. This is a wonderfully written story about Levi and Bella. These two couldn’t be more opposite from one another but you’ve heard the saying “Opposites Attract”. One thing these two do have in common is the one thing that is keeping them from finding love and happiness. The chemistry between these two is definitely there. Find out what happens next with these .i highly recommend reading this book. I can’t wait to read more from this Author.

I just really enjoyed this book from beginning to end I have never read this author before but I will read more of her books in the future. This book is about 3 different couples that come into the bookstore and find love one of the couples is the owner of the bookstore who enjoys getting people together. Each couple has their own unique story to tell and I enjoyed reading about them all. I just love bookstores and finding love and I thought this author did such a good job of making it magical.

This is another cute story in the continuing Mermaid Science Story. I love how once again the author has managed to introduce a new scientific experiment into the story while also making it interesting as well. While this one isn’t my favorite of the series, I did thoroughly enjoy it. I love the use of the mermaid but just hate that both characters can’t see her. That’s the reason one of the characters believes it is made up. I feel that it would be a nice inclusion for all the characters to be able to see her. Once again the illustrations are beautiful and eye catching. I am sure that your kids will love this. And not to mention, it’s a great way to include another science experiment into your home.

What a great story about Sol and Ember. Ember just beginning and Sol in ending his career. These two had quite an obstacle to overcome if their relationship was to go anywhere. I liked both of these characters from the beginning I thought they were exactly what the other needed. The chemistry was off the charts but it was fitting with what they both loved.

Truth or Kill speaks to that little corner of your mind that binge watches serial killer documentaries and adds some steam just for kicks! It is a little dark, pretty twisted, and a pretty killer read. I can honestly say that I have NEVER read a book like this before! It is the ultimate version of a “Come to the Dark Side” romance. Absolutely worth it!

This is the first book that I have read from the author, and I loved every minute of it. This is an amazing book. The characters were very well written, and the plot is just amazing. I was able to visualize everything that was going on and feel everything that they were at that moment. What a great book. This book deals with it all, mental health, love, for eachother and for ourselves. Callie was such a great character, she saw Evan was struggling and she knew she had to help him and that she wanted him. The love these two had for eachother was magical and beyond anything I have ever seen. I wanted it to go on forever, but I will just have to do a reread.

Maia, Fig, and Trezzie are teaching science again! This trio does a great job in such a simple way. However, Fig isn’t able to see Trezzie so things just seem to happen in front of her. Trezzie brings them a treasure that has a pattern on it but they can’t see it. With the help of a plastic box, they finally discovered that they had a trilobite, which is a fossil. The plastic box, along with some water, acted as a magnifying glass to help them see what they were holding.
I love this series and how it’s teaching simple lessons about science!! These are great books to share with your kids and grandkids. They would be great in a homeschooling environment as well.

Another great story by this author. Victoria and Seth make a deal and watch the magic happen. I really enjoyed this book it had the right amount of slow burn that made me get to know both the charactors. The chemistry was amazing and kept me invested in this relationship. I was.not a fan of Victoria being dishonest but I understood why it happened. Another great book by a new author for me and I cannot wait to read more.

This was my first book by this author and I am hooked. This is the story of Chelsea and Tom, she has always dated the bad boys and now it might be time for a nice guy. Tom is that guy, in every way. But, he showed her that nice guys does not mean boring or geeky. I fell in love with Tom and the way he was with Chelsea. He was nice, interested in what she needed and wanted but he could also be sexy and dirty. What women would not want that? This book gave me some ideas to go find myself a nice guy. Really amazing book.

This book is about a second chance romance. Nadia and Luke was so good to read, their relationship was so eye opening. Nadia did not do relationships and Luke was aware of this. Nadia hired him to fix her home and all the feelings were coming back but is it going to be a repeat? I loved this book because I understood both the charactors feelings and where they were coming from. Love and relationships are so hard and when you both have baggage it can be even harder. I enjoyed this book so much.

This is the third book in the Pierce Brothers series. Again, I was not disappointed. I’ve just fallen in love with this entire series. Mrs. Belinda Williams is an amazing writer. I love books where I can see and feel everything the character are at that moment. It’s a rare talent and its greatly appreciated when I’m able to experience a book like that. This book had so much to offer I’m not sure I know where to start. This book was definitely a slow burn full of love, heartbreak, friendships and more. While I have only read a couple of books from this author, she is quickly becoming one of my favorites. When I first saw the cover to this book I knew that I wanted to read it right away, the cover had bright colors and was absolutely beautiful, and not to mention I just love a book where the title comes full circle. The characters were well developed, the plot was wonderful, and the overall story was amazing. So if your looking for a great new slow burn make sure you pick this one up today.

Maia, Fig and Trizzie the mermaid, are once again found at the water’s edge. Exploring the wonderful world of Science. I love reading books to children that are more than just a story. In this story the children will read and go hands on with this project. There is a big difference between hearing and seeing something done. This author has once again impressed me with her writing skills. Including the breakdown to make the project. The story is fast paced and intriguing. It will keep your little reader reading. I highly recommend this children’s book, and hope you work along with your child.

I’ll start off by saying that I did not read the first books in the series, however I stick found it enjoyable. The main character Julia gives a recap in the beginning of her past, that helped slightly but once I got into the story I got the gist of things. Julia is dealing with the consequences of her betrayal of her Ka-tet. It’s like a bonded group of Vampires. She feels herself losing her mind all the while yearning to fix things between her and her friends. But honestly some betrayals are just too much to forgive. The fear of her apparitions returning and ruining her life again, has her seeking aid from Mathew who at first is very reluctant to be near her again but eventually realizes that something more sinister is happening . The author has constructed an amazing world lore around Vampires and I think most will enjoy it.

I really enjoyed this sweet romance. The author does an amazing job with the characters giving them a depth that makes them relatable and allows the readers to really feel the feelings and emotions they go through. The connection between the characters is instant with Destiny already being a fan of Nicco. Over the course of the story we see how they get closer while fighting Destiny’s insecurities and Nicco’s playboy image. This is a great read that keeps you hooked wondering will they get it together or won’t they.
Nicco is a actor that has every girls heart racing and Destiny is no exception. So when they meet at her friends photo shoot the spark is immediate. Destiny is a romance writer who is struggling to find her story however a little time with Nicco has got her creative juices flowing. So when Nicco comes to her with a proposition, he becomes her muse of her story and she helps him with his career, how could Destiny refuse. As their journey continues their feelings grow but with both of them having been hurt in the past and insecurities are they going to be able to work through it all to make it work? Will Destiny finally get to write her own happy ever after or will they both end up with their hearts broken again?

This book will get you in its clutches and won’t let go. The instant drama, the insane amount of twists, turns and thrills will leave you wanting more. I loved the characters! This author does such great character development that you begin to make Audri and Remi as well as some of the side characters your book friends right away. This book has it all! Sizzle, steam, mystery, back stories, drama, romance and of course an HEA!! You won’t regret giving this book a chance.

This is the second book that I have read from this series, and my favorite part are the cartoon like cute illustrations! At an extremely close second, my favorite part is at the end with the explanation of the science experiment. This is a great book to read to little ones, and have them absorb this type of learning. Then one day they grow up and read it for themselves! I love these books.

Trezzie and her friends are back with a whole new science experiment. I have enjoyed reading all the mermaid books so far and so have the toddlers I am A nanny for. The author has done a great job with these books.
