The author combines day to day life with the supernatural in a way that makes it seem natural. The character development helps bridge the gap between two worlds by making the reader feel like they know the characters. This book was easy to read and as I finished up, I was already looking forward to the next book in the series. Morgan is a warm and with character that is written so that you want to follow her along in her journey. She doesn’t know what’s happening and you learn as she’s learning. The characters are all unique from each other and each brings their own brand of wit. If paranormal mystery romance is your preference, this is for you. It’s like a cozy mystery but with spirits. Morgan takes all of these new experiences in stride and is always willing to believe that they are possibly paranormal with a healthy dose of logic. And, of course, there’s Dr. Lightfoot. The romantic interest who can help her navigate this new found life twist. Highly recommended for relaxation reading.

This book had a slow start but once you got into it, WOW! Sera has so much depth to her character that it really draws you in. The relationship you witness between Sera and Cassius is truly captivating. They have such great banter and you can feel their feelings through the story. This is the first book from this author that I’ve read. I see there is a prequel but I haven’t read it, and thankfully I never felt confused or lost. I loved that this book had a storyline that sucks you in and makes the story come to life (in my mind). I’m an empath so I tend to take on peoples emotions or feelings (even when reading), so when this book had sooo many plot twists and turns I expected to feel queasy. However I felt somewhat excited, full of anticipation, and felt on the edge of my seat. That never happens for me, usually I need to stop reading and take a break! This book was well written and easy to follow. A fast paced – page turner kind of book! Overall really good suspenseful read, strongly recommend!

Caging Grace is a powerful and emotional story about dedication, determination and overcoming barriers. Bake Off is a charming book for all ages that has a story similar to Like Water for Chocolate, Just Add Magic and Encanto combined with its own flair. It will leave you feeling warm and wanting to bake. The best part of all is that for each chapter there is a recipe included that allows you to recreate some of the magic from the story.
The main character Cat goes on a trip with her family to learn more about baking and ends up there just in time for a wonderful surprise. I thoroughly enjoyed the character development and was able to follow along well despite not having read the previous book in the series, although now I’m even more intrigued to see how that story unfolded into this enchanting sequel. The ending of the book concluded well but left me wanting more. I enjoyed the book and I’m looking forward to the next book in the series.
I highly recommend this book for baking enthusiasts and those who are looking for a small town packed full of adventure and mysteries to be uncovered.

Oh, Mimi, aka Queen of Hearts, what web of trouble have you gotten yourself into this time. This book is an entertaining drama. It is full of revenge, suspicion, intrigue, and romance. Alas, nothing is as it seems either. Set in the times when women were seen as property, Mimi (Queen of Hearts) has her own secrets that will come out as the story unfolds. I was pleasantly surprised to see such a turnaround in a character. She is actually a very strong character that survives a lot. She is full of courage and tenacity. Now, Jac, he’s pretty sneaky. He had his own secrets. He was entertaining to read because he flew under the radar. I can’t say I didn’t enjoy seeing Linus get what he deserved. You’ll have to read it to see what I’m talking about. This is a fun story that is well-written and well-developed. I loved the characters and the fact that the story took a whole different turn midway. Fascinating writing!! I highly recommend this story to everyone.
“You’ll always be my Queen.” Even typing those words has tears swelling in my eyes, I think it is commonplace for one to hear such words of endearment and love to be whispered to them. The respect that this author has created between the two main characters, Jac and Mimi is something magical, as is their connection and wanton to help each other in the end goal, along with the trust that is established in such a short amount of time.
This author wove a lovely retelling and as an avid reader, I thoroughly appreciated the quick character development, the descriptiveness of the world in which they lived in, allowing us to feel as though we were standing in the ballroom, or in the Ace, surrounded by others in this adventure. I gulped down this story in no time and am itching for more. Such a brilliant idea, and so well rounded, this author hasn’t let me down yet, and I will 100% be reading more works by her in the future. Heroines are my jam, and these Heels, Rhymes, and Nursery Crimes are exciting!

I love a good fantasy story, and this is one of the best I’ve read. A different time, Vikings, and a compelling plot make this story original and exciting! I’ve read plenty of India Kells’ books over the years and this series is one of my favourites. Each book in this set is about one of six bastard sons.
#1 I enjoyed the Chicago setting. This is a great romance thriller with plenty of angst and suspense. I loved the writing style and I loved all the characters. Highly recommend!
#2 This is the second book in the Dark Sparrow series and I loved it as much as the first. There was lots of action and suspense, and it kept me turning the page the whole way through. I love the way the author writes her characters with a lot of depth and complexity, as it makes for compelling stories. Highly recommend.
#3 I love any book by India Kells, including this one. There’s plenty of tension and intrigue, as usual, but I also liked how the characters felt less “alpha” in this one. This one had a great storyline that kept me turning the pages. This is a great romantic thriller to read.
#4 This was a great book! There was plenty of action, chemistry between the characters, and lots of suspense. I really loved the danger and intrigue of this book. This was definitely a page-turner.
#5 I’ve read several of India Kells’ books and I love their romantic suspense, especially in this Dark Sparrow series. In this novel, Sam and Ellie are drawn to each other by a connection where sparks fly immediately, but they both have dark pasts that they have to overcome to be with each other. I felt like I wanted more depth, as this was quite a short read and the resolution seemed too easy. Overall, a quick romance read.
#6 Knowing this was the last book of the series, this was just a fun read and I liked how it wrapped up the series. It’s still full of tension, suspense, mystery, and of course romantic chemistry as with all the previous books in the series.
Every book in this series is full of action and great characters, highly recommend!

What a fascinating story. Morgan has survived brain surgery with a new talent: the ability to see and hear ghosts. She thinks she is going nuts but nope, she is just special. Savvy and Tiffany, her coworkers, are in on the secret and help her get through work. The new ER doc, Dr. Lightfoot, has some special talents also. He offers to help teach her about hers. There is a spark but due to some bad experiences, this relationship is going to move slow. I am looking forward to seeing how it develops. The doctor and Morgan have already had some exciting “fun” already. Now Morgan, she has more than it seems anyone can handle: live in ghosts (one is a little frisky); premonitions; and a few other items.The drama keeps you on your toes. She solves a few mysteries and sends some men packing. The characters are hilarious, especially the ER coworkers. They are just like that. Tiffany, the desk clerk, reminds me of a few that I have worked with. The descriptions were a little lengthy at times. I would have like more to the stories. Overall, the story had me giggling, especially when Mrs. Whitlock came to visit and when Jonathan tried to grab Savvy. An enjoyable story that gives you some paranormal, romance, mystery, and suspense. A little something for everyone. I recommend this you read this one.

I was expecting your typical “brother’s best friend” story when I started reading The Mastermind; but wow! I was not expecting to have all the suspense, shaded pasts, danger, mystery, and romance! Nadia Han delivers wonderfully realistic and flawed characters along with a compelling story line in a book that was hard to put down! I was drawn to the characters and the sizzle and spark between Remi and Audri. They obviously care for one another, evidenced in the easy banter between them, but neither one wants to hurt the other with their troubled pasts. The twists and turns in the story made me keep turning, page after page, devouring the book! This was a first time author for me and she did not disappoint and has added a new follower. I cannot wait for the next book!

Victoriously Yours is the 4th book in the Titans of Manhattan series by Anise Storm, this series is just fantastic, it doesn’t hide from the big issues and doesn’t pretend that everyone in a novel like this is perfect touching on issues such as mental health and childhood traumas. Kenzie is a flawed character, she has been hurt in the past and this has affected her view of relationships, when she goes to audition for the job of a lifetime, she doesn’t expect her potential employer to be the same boy that broke her years ago. Jonas is a successful businessman, a playboy about town, but no one realises the extent of his struggles. This was a really enjoyable read; the main characters are very likable and the story keeps you engaged. I am very much looking forward to book 5 in the series.

I am a sucker for mysteries, and heroines, and historical settings… luckily this novel has them all! The Prospect of Death brings to light an olden tradition of brides arriving in other countries to wed. The main character, Alyssa, is a brilliant woman who is unlike the other seeking a different country as she is not intending to be a bride. Alyssa definitely provides a sort of Sherlock Holmes sort of vibe while she’s figuring out clues and solving the mystery! From the setup, to the realization and personalization, and finally the ‘whodunit’ ending was a tremendous read and is highly recommended!

I found this to be a cute story geared towards children between the ages of 4-8 years old. Maia is the only one to be able to see the mermaid. With the help of the ice cube necklace, Fig knows that Trezzie exists. Children will learn what happens to ice in different temperatures of water. While enjoying a book, they will learn something as well which is important. I loved that at the end of the book, the author explains water in all its forms. This is an entertaining story kids will love.

This was an amazing beginning to this series. I loved the premise of the book as a back to a video game. I’m sure we will hear more about this later in the series. The book was filled with trauma for both the main characters. Second chances are wrought with pain and despair and never an easy road to travel. I loved the bonds of friendship that ran very deep within the group. Will love bloom or will it be snuffed out before it can start? Lots of twists and turns to keep reading. I love a good forbidden romance, and brothers best friends always tend to be those. Audri and Remi were hot together. Remi was an Alpha by far who always had his eyes on Audri even when they were younger. Audri was independent, intelligent, and a fierce woman. This book was a suspense tale that had lust, romance, intrigue, and thrills at every angle. I loved the characters and enjoyed every element of the unexpected the author threw in.

Each one had characters that lost a chance of what they considered to be happy! As they visit this magical bookstore, the unthinkable happens. Something happens to all the characters in every story that might just give them their happily ever after! But the bookstore really is the thing that sets up the happily ever after for the characters, to keep it and hold onto it, they have to work their own magic! Loved the realism behind these stories and how captivating they were! Really loved and enjoyed these!

The Happily Ever After Bookstore is a lovely read. Centered around the Happily Ever After Bookstore owned by Leona, we see three love stories come together. The stories are sweet and tie together seamlessly. I enjoyed the individual stories and characters and how they all tied together. I have a hard time picking my favorite part because they all drew me into their stories differently. I also enjoyed the bookstore being a central location of the story. One of my favorite places to go is my local bookstore. I look forward to reading more from this author in the future.

I adore everything about this book! The characters were beautifully written and their relationships were so unique and genuine! Leona is such a beautiful soul and Sadie is a complete sweetheart. Fiona is also so realistically cautious but also brave. Charlie is such a great grandson and I love Ellen too! I want to go to The Happily Ever After Bookstore and meet all of them, and lose myself in the books! I simply love how all their stories tie together and will definitely be looking up other books by this author because I am a sucker for a happy ending, and this book had them in spades! My favorite thing about this book is that you get not one, not two, but three feel good love stories in one amazing book! If ever you need a pick me up, this book will do it.
Leona is a bookstore owner who loves to give her customers a happily-ever-after. When Sadie and Charlie are both seeking a book, Leona sees potential and makes a way to bring them together.
Author Fiona ends up at Leona’s bookstore where she happens to reconnect with her ex-husband. Leona may just help them see that growth and time could give them the ability to overcome differences.
Leona is good at giving everyone but herself their happiness. When Jon enters her life, she fights an inner battle to maybe find a happily ever after of her own.
The characters in this story are fun, deep and exciting. The way all of their stories intertwine is creative and beautiful. I walked away from this book feeling happy and uplifted. I will definitely be reading more from this author!

This is a great easy to read romance with a few laughs chucked in, perfect for those who love rom-coms. Was written well and the characters were awesome. Read it in one sitting.

I thoroughly enjoyed this heartwarming contemporary romance novel, with three interwoven stories all based around the ‘Happily Ever After Bookstore’. The owner of the bookstore is Leona, and she not only loves finding readers the right book, but also the right partner, even if the pair might not know that they are destined to be together. When Sadie enters the bookstore to ask for Leona’s advice for a holiday romance, she knocks into Charlie McGowan, who seems out of his element. Sadie and Charlie soon discover that Leona has “accidentally” given them the wrong bags. As they meet to swap bags, will they fall for the bookstore owners matchmaking. Leona is at it again, when author Fiona Gable and her ex-husband, Price Richter end up in the town at the same time. Having been married and both loved and lost the couple split up, but maybe finding each other under different circumstances might change everything.
Leona may be skilled at pairing other people together, but she’s never found love herself, after all the bookstore is her true love. However, when Jon Ford is sent to fix some repairs in the bookstore, Leona wonders if she may have actually found her own happily ever after. When Leona learns that Jon comes with baggage, in the form of a three year old and a four year old, she’s not sure if she’s ready to take on a man, and a ready made family as well as her bookstore, but she definitely deserves her own happily ever after. This was an enjoyable and engaging read which kept me happily entertained and turning the pages. This wonderfully written novel, had a lighthearted and romantic storyline with very likeable and relatable characters, all set in a bookstore, the perfect combination!
