Juliet’s Journey to Love (Great Smoky Mountain Getaways Book 1) by Elsie Davis. This is an awesome Christian romance. Its the story of Juliet who has decided that love is not in the cards for her. Her job is to heal her patients so she feels like that is what God wants her to do and not worry about love. She and her friends head out on a trip with her friends to hike the Appalachian Trail. While on the Hike she ends up getting sick and Jake a mountain man comes to her rescue. Jake has a reason for being a hermit but won’t explain himself. After he nurses her back to health he takes ill and Juliet ends up nursing him back to health. As they spend more and more time together they start to have feelings for each other but Jake doesn’t believe in God so Juliet is doing everything she can to convert him. I don’t know where to begin. Powerful, strong women going after their dreams. Crazy hot, sexy men that are captains of their industry. Steamy, lustful relationships between the two. This author has me wrung out again. Just when you think Rhyann and Mason are going to find the happiness they both deserve, a twist, a turn, a detour comes out of the blue!
Rhyann came to Manhattan to follow her dream of being a dancer. She was accepted and received a full scholarship at an elite dance academy. One night when she is out clubbing with her roommate who has given Rhyann the advice to ‘just have fun’, Rhyann acts out of character and flirts with a stranger that started dancing with her. The stranger and Rhyann share a hot but anonymous encounter. When Rhyann goes back to the same club applying for a job, she discovers her anonymous encounter is the club owner, Mason. Mason hasn’t stopped thinking about his encounter with Rhyann (now he knows her name) since it happened but he knows that it won’t happen again if he hires her. Mason almost doesn’t give her the job because of this.
As Mason’s past and Rhyann’s future throw roadblocks to their relationship, Mason and Rhyann just try to find ways to survive without each other. Their pull towards each other is undeniable.
Ahhh-mazing!!! Fantastic! Delicious! Wonderful!! I absolutely love this series. This author never lets me down. I wait on pins and needles for the next Titan!!

Book 3 in the Titans of Manhattan Series had me just as captivated as the first book. Rhyann is a college student and life-long dancer who wants to pursue a career in her passion. It looks like her dreams are coming true after getting accepted into dance school in Manhattan with a full scholarship. Mason is a wealthy “titan,” owning swanky clubs all over the world, and one of NYC’s most eligible bachelors with no intention of changing that anytime soon. A chance encounter in his newest Manhattan club has the two hooking up for a one-night stand with no names exchanged, but both can’t seem to shake the other from their minds. When Rhyann’s roommate convinces her to take a job at the same club, dancing for fast cash, she discovers not only the name of the guy, but that he’s going to be her new boss. While both internally fight their growing attraction, and are unsuccessful at hiding their true feelings from those closest to them, Mason contemplates breaking his own rules and Rhyann struggles with adjusting to her grueling school and work schedules. It’s a good balance of steam, build-up, and struggle.

This is the 3rd book in a series that I’ve loved so far. I have read several of this author’s books and have always really enjoyed them and this book was no different. Each book in this series can be read as a standalone, although the main characters from other books do make an appearance. I really enjoyed this book. The writer had me gripped from the very beginning and kept me engaged and entertained throughout, leaving me wanting more of Mason and Rhyann. I loved both of these characters. They couldn’t be any more different: from their upbringings to their current lifestyles. But, as they say, opposites attract and these 2 are attracted to each other from the first time they set eyes on each other. I really like this author’s writing style. The story flows very well and there is plenty of action, most of a very hot and steamy nature, to keep you wanting to read more. I really look forward to reading more of this great series and especially seeing what the author has in store for Jonas in the next book.

I’m already anxiously awaiting the next book in this series! I have read the first three so far and all of them could be read as stand-alone books. However, I really enjoy having the full family history! I feel like I’ve been able to get to know this family pretty well and we’d all get along just great.
Dr. Scott Caruthers is busy running his hospital as well as setting up his new foundation. He’s finding he needs more help and that’s where Dr. Franceen Lewis comes in. She’s the OB for the hospital and it’s a good thing because Scott’s twin sister, Sindy, is pregnant. Scott wants to focus on being the best uncle and not having to worry about being a doctor to his sister.
Sparks start flying immediately between Dr. Scott and Dr. Franceen. They keep running into each other and now he’s concerned about Dr. Franceen’s reactions after delivery Sindy’s babies. What’s going on with her? He’s hoping he doesn’t have to fire his new staff so soon but if she can’t get it together, they will have to look into options.
Like his other siblings, Scott works way too hard and doesn’t take a lot of time for himself. It’s starting to show and he’s afraid that his foundation may suffer for it as well. Could Dr. Franceen be the motivation he needs to get away more?
I fall more in love with this family with each passing story! Highly recommended!

Why is she here? Come to find out, she’s not an actual bride but Jonas, having just met her, loves what he sees. Can he open this pandora box that Pandora is showcasing? Hopefully together they can find some resolutions to the time they spend working!

It doesn’t take long for sparks to fly between Dr. Ryan and nurse Sindy, but are they the right kind of sparks? Did Dr. Colin know what he was actually doing when he willed that they should run the practice together? I’d like to think that he did!
I really enjoyed this story for several reasons. It was set in Australia (I hope to visit one day), involved a doctor and a nurse, as well as a love connection. I recommend this book as well as the others in this series! I will be looking for more books by this new-to-me author to read!

I always love anything this gifted author creates and writes. This one follows in the author’s past footsteps. This one brought a new story to light and characters that you can dream about truly. I loved how the characters come to life and bring the story to be what it was meant to be.
I loved Rhyann! She was a strong characters that had dreams and goals, and most of all rules. Mason is someone who is strong and powerful as well. The two of them in the same room could literally make my kindle melt. I loved watching them interreacting together. What I loved was Rhyann and her dreams, but when you get the taste of something different, will it over power what you really thought you wanted? The book was full of suspense and very heated moments. Temptation was strong and a sweeter fruit when it came to more than one thing. Loved it. Really amazing read. Would expect nothing less!
Loved this author’s amazing writing skills. Anything that they write, I never am left disappointed. I am always on the edge of my seat with every book they write. Highly recommend this amazing author and defiantly highly recommend this amazing read. Its an adventure you do not want to miss out on!

What a wild ride! Class Clown takes readers into the life of Abbey. She seems like your normal high school soccer player at first glance. As we travel through her life with her we realize that Abbey has the unique ability to communicate with those that have died. In a new high school, with a new group of friends, Abbey finds herself facing off against an army of dead clowns that have a vengeance. She brings her friends into her chaos to try to calm the storm and create peace again within the walls of high school.
At every turn this book surprised me. Woven together with 80’s music, sarcasm, and whitt this story takes you on an adventure you’re not soon to forget! If you love everything that goes bump in the night I highly suggest this book! It will have you turning the pages so quickly, you won’t even realize that you have finished it. I’m sad this is over but I will be looking for more from this author!

I felt such a whirlwind of emotions throughout. It moved me to tears. This book makes you think about how easy it would be to let our sorrows rule our lives. How only through hard work and patience will the pain subside. So many good metaphors for holding on to pain and finally letting it go and building your own future. It filled me with such overwhelming hope. I also loved Santos and Mercy’s relationship and how it naturally developed over time. I can’t say enough about this book. It is a must read!!!!

He did it again!!! This author is one of my favorites and he changed my mind about this genre of novels. I thoroughly enjoyed this third novel in the series! It has a great ebb and flow. The characters are deep. There is truly no stone unturned when it comes to the characters. While the plot line is amazing and does drive the story some I truly think the characters are about seventy five percent of the driving factor to this story. Not only are the characters well developed, they leave you wanting more and you find yourself (well I find myself) talking to them while I read.. or yelling at them lol). While this book could be read as a stand alone I would not recommend it. You won’t regret getting the box set.

Unchecked is the first book in the MetroGen Downtown Kiss and Tell series by Carina Alyce. This is a very steamy contemporary romance- think Grey’s anatomy on Viagra. This story definitely steamed up the screen on my Kindle with all the sexy details- then left me hanging on the edge of a mighty cliffhanger that comes with a bit of a twist. Dr. Stella Magi might be a highly educated surgeon, but hat hasn’t prevented her from making more than a few bad decisions when it came to romance. So when she finds herself juggling three guys, as well as her medical career- things get….. interesting. This is a short, quick, and easy read (under 200 pages). So, I zipped through the story in my lunch break. I would have loved to read a longer version of this story, with even more details to sink my teeth into. Looking forward to finding out what happens when we get the answer to the cliffhanger. Happy reading!

Written in a way that you start in present time, fall back to 1998 and then back to the present, you are able to follow the story quite well. An easy, quick, enjoyable read.

Emily is a new orderly at Eastport General Hospital and is hearing some gossip about Doctor Desmond, aka Doctor D. Since Emily has never met Doctor D, she imagines he is that almost too perfect kind of Doctor who seems to have everything and really doesn’t believe he really exists. In all honesty, Doctor Desmond does exist and sure sounds like everyone’s dream. What the gossips don’t talk about is how much Doctor D cares for his patients and how hard he works to help the children under his care. Overall I really enjoyed the book. It’s a short novella type story for Doctors of Eastport General. I am looking forward to checking out some of the stories written by other authors for this series.

I can safely and fully honestly say it’s been a good while since I’ve immediately bought an entire series based off the first book. I COULD NOT read this fast enough. I fell in love with these characters so quick, I needed more, and right then. 10/10 gold stars for you author. I enjoyed this story very much. It read much like a fairy tale romance where you rooted for that happy ending. Carthal was that prince charming and Eala was very much his princess. All obstacles that stood between them were dashed down at some point on their road to HEA. The story itself was romantic, dramatic, and beautifully told.

I literally just finished this book and I RAN to do this review!! Wow!! This is the first I’ve read of this author so I have nothing else to base it on, but I can tell you I’m about to start digging up everything she’s written so far. This book was so good! Grace REALLY needs to move out of her apartment she shares with her roommate and move quick. She responds to the ad from the guy across the hall looking for a roommate. In exchange for living with him rent free, he wants someone to just cook him dinner at HIS expense. That’s a pretty sweet sounding deal! After meeting with the gorgeous guy (Ian) and going over all of the rules and expectations she agrees. The chemistry is there from the beginning and it slowly grows between the two. They both have some skeletons in their closets, but the mystery of what happened just adds that much more anticipation to the book. I’m telling you this book has it all, the spice, the sweetness, sadness and pain, but really the author did it in the best way. I can’t compliment this book enough. And don’t even get me started on the huge surprise at the end! I didn’t see that coming!! I will be buying this in paperback thank you very much! All I can say is READ.IT.NOW.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This book was an awesome beginning to what I am sure will be a great series. I generally do not read Christian based books, as I find most of them to be overbearing on the religion, but that was not the case with this one. Historical fiction is also not a common choice for me, but this one was so well done that other than the occasional reference to carriages and period specific things, it was easy to forget that it even was a historical based book. My only issue with this book is that sometimes the scene changes were a bit abrupt and without warning, but otherwise, this book and this author were well worth the time and effort to read. I look forward to the rest of the books in this series.

This book covers a lot of real life issues that most people don’t want to talk about or if they do, they gloss over it and don’t get to the heart of the issues. This book may not be a true story, but it is real for many families. It’s a beautiful story about Rourke, a 12 year old, who suffers from anxiety. As with most kids his age he worries about fitting in at school, and girls (although his crush comes with extra worries). He also worries about his brother (who has ASD) and the responsibilities his parents give him to help care for his brother. I recommend this book to people of all ages, not just young adults. It’s a wonderful story that shows that there’s nothing wrong with being imperfect and different.

This is my first time reading this author but trust me when I say that it won’t be last. Our author has given us a fantastic, and intriguing plot, perfectly developed characters, and enough action to keep us flipping the pages. This storyline was so suspenseful and full of passion that I didn’t want to put it down. Layla and Sam are supposed to be enemies but when Sam is the only one that can save Layla’s sister what will she do? Is the chemistry between them too great for Layla to turn Sam in or will the chemistry keep her from doing her job. You’ll have to read this amazing story to find out for yourself.

The book Class Clown brings a new meaning to the phrase class clown. I didn’t read what it was about and was thrilled to get a story about the clown apocalypse. Abbey is a fun, snarky teen who is a magnet for ghosts and is in part responsible for the clowns. I really enjoyed this paranormal YA story. I found out it is the second in the series but read easily as a standalone book. I will have to watch if Abbey’s story continues and catch up with what I have missed. I think this book could be enjoyed by many young teens to adults. The teen angst is relatable, and the paranormal aspects add another layer that adds a lot to the story. I look forward to reading more from this author in the future.
I was pleasently surprised by this book! It was unpredictable, and spooky. Given the synopsis, I expected the plot to be pretty self explanatory and deal with the clown apolcolypse. What I found is that there is more to this book than only that. I found myself totally immersed and really enjoying the spooky atmosphere that this book gives off. I particularly enjoyed the way the light and funny nature of a sarcastic teen went with a spooky clown appocolypse. Abbey is a great MC to follow. She is brave, and easily creates relationships that make the book an enjoyable ride. I love how she lives with this crazy ability, and not only does she make the best of it, she never backs down from helping. I also love the found family aspects of this book. I am definitely looking for more from this author.
A cute, quick, fun read! Right out the gate, the book starts with chaos, which made it intriguing. Initially it is a little confusing to line it all up, but it makes sense fairly quickly into the story. Dr. Desmond is a pediatrician who is caught up in the middle of an impossible situation. He also has a bit of a reputation. Emily is an orderly with her life all planned out and no time for BS. I loved the two MCs, both separately and seeing how their relationship evolved. The story made me laugh a few times, got a little steamy in others, and tugged on your heart strings a bit along the way. I would have liked to see a little more on the characters. Because of its size and how quickly it flies past, it reads more like a novella. I will definitely be picking up some others in this series when I am in the mood for a quick, cute romance!

The author delivers a sci-fi saga of epic proportions! At first I wasn’t invested in the different story arcs, but as they wove together, I was hooked! I enjoyed the box set since I was able to binge read all three volumes consecutively. I found it interesting how the author used his characters in order to promote different religious ideas. The scientific parts did not overreach, and this nonscientific gal was able to follow along, from rural America to outer space, for the journey of a lifetime.

Journeys Through AllCreation is the third book in the Journeys Through Book Series. I highly recommend reading the first two books to enjoy this book even more. The storyline is complex in nature. It held my attention from the first page to the last page. I highly recommend that you plan to read this book in one sitting. The prophecy is that there are innate powers contained in the Dokkaebi-of-all-Creation to destiny various universes that make up the Multiverse. I found myself wanting to be on the journey with twins from Atlantis. I have to admit that their storyline intrigued me the most. They are trying to save their home. WIll they be successful? I highly recommend reading this book to see what happens in this installment of Journey Through AllCreation.

This was such a great story! It is kind of like the movie, Interview With Vampire, taking place in 1492, and is a good combination of historical romance and vampires. I warn you, though, that there is quite graphic abuse and could be a trigger for some. The main character is Juliana Kendrick or Julia. Her father marries her off at the age of 15 to a nasty man, Gregory Smith. Gregory treats her quite horrifically, brutally beating her, and even murdering her baby. Samuel steps in to save her when it looks like all hope is lost. He tells her that he and others are actually vampires and gives her the option to join them. She accepts which allows her to heal from her physical injuries, but it can’t fix her psychological and emotional injuries. There is a love story mixed in with what is largely a story about domestic violence recovery. I enjoyed this so much and am really looking forward to the next book in the series!

Apocalypse book 2 of the Guardians series is a wonderfully written Book. I have not read book 1 or have not read a book by this Author but I absolutely loved this read and will go back and read book one. I Believe you should read book 1 first. even though i was able to follow along without reading book 1 i found this book so interesting that i must go back and read. This book kept me engrossed from begging to end. I Loved all the Characters in this story. I Really enjoyed reading about Seth i thought his character was the best. If your into YA Fantasy books this book will defiantly love this one. Its a must read to your TBR pile. Thank you again to this author for a wonderful read and i look forward to reading book 3 🙂

Another great book in this series. The main star is “Van” Vanessa, which we follow up with her again a year after her first 30-day mission/project that resulted in the loss of several teammates, friends and ultimately her father.
Summer begins and she quickly understands that another mission/project should start at any moment. She tries to come to terms with the fact that her handsome teammate, Brux, is now her protector/bodyguard, but can she continue to ignore her heart and stay neutral when it comes to him?
She learns that her stepmother has found a new man-child and her nemesis will now be joining their group on their next mission. On top of everything, she learns important details surrounding the mysterious men in suits walking amongst the residents of Paradise Island. How do they expect a teenager in denial of her true feelings to keep a level head when learning new information regarding the Elders, the Brotherhood, EWS agents, the infamous portal, Living World vs Earth World, internet vs intranet, low frequency vs high frequency, electricity vs electricity-like energy, good vs bad, and so on? So much responsibility for such a young lady.
I couldn’t help but feel sympathy for Van as she deals with such complex, life changing, adult material since book one. While she seems to handle things well (for the most part), she often comes across as a typical teenager so there is hope she will continue to try to live a full teenage life, even with more responsibilities, knowledge, and skillsets.
Book two pushed the fantasy fiction, action, and mysterious angle beyond what I expected after reading book one. I also enjoyed how easy this was to read. Plus, this left me anxiously waiting to read Book Three of the series.
I’m excited to see the author did not create perfect characters within this series, meaning they each have their own faults, fears, etc. They do not always make the best decisions and that makes them more real, relevant, and relatable. I believe this aspect will make this book more appealing to anyone who chooses to read it (adults, young adults, etc.).
A surprising point that I found while reading this book was how much you can become engrossed in a story and despise certain characters. It is a tribute to creative writing when you can illicit feelings from the reader and in this case, for me anyway, it was all about Ambassador Kasey. In my eyes, he always seemed a bit shady with ulterior motives, but I will not go into details or share any spoilers so any new readers can make up their own minds regarding this character.
I was blown away by the continued expansion created and described in this book. I was not certain the author could outdo herself but, in this case, she did. I was pleasantly pleased with how she wrapped up this book and as I mentioned above, I could not wait to get my hands on book number three!
This is an epic series that I hope continues for a long time.

Abbey isn’t an ordinary high school girl. She has interactions with and can see ghosts. Of course one day, that can mess things up with they also attracted and follow her. After going to the circus with her parents, one evil one followed her back to school. Now she has to deal with school drama and ghost drama. It was a fun read for sure!
