This was a great quick romantic read! You really get to know Emily and Des. I like how you get to read from both perspectives with alternating chapters. I always enjoy this author and her writing style is really fun and light. This story proves you can’t and shouldn’t judge someone based on what you hear. From first class embarrassment to some tear jerker parts this story is definitely worth the read!

This was a great 5 star read. I made the mistake of starting it during my lunch hour and I couldn’t wait to get back to it. The author does a great job with her writing.
Regan is a southie, she has just graduated high school and her home life isn’t the greatest. Her boss at the diner is the only person that has really been there for her the last few years. While working at the diner some suits come in for lunch, this is where she meets Jeremy for the first time. As a server, I know the feeling that she had when they left her the lousy tip and loved it when he overheard her comment.
There is something about Regan that pulls Jeremy in. He finally convinces her to go on a date with him and with a twist of fate they end up starting their date a little earlier than expected. Things move forward fairly quickly for these two. Regan isn’t ready to open up to Jeremy about her family, what will happen when he learns the truth? How will Jeremy’s family feel about Regan and where she comes from?
Overall this was a great read. I loved Regan and how sassy she could be, she was great for Jeremy. I also fell for Jeremy right along with Regan, I loved his honesty and how sweet he was with Regan. All of the secondary characters added a great element to the story as well. If you’re looking for a great romance than 1-click and get started today on this one, you will be pulled right in. I look forward to reading more from this author.

I enjoy coming of age stories since they typically include a complex network of characters, narrative and growth. In this book, the main character, “Van” Vanessa starts as a typical egotistical teenager who only focuses on herself, boys and her intended summer plans with friends. Her bff, Paley is similar from that perspective but to me, comes off as polar opposites when it counts. Perhaps that’s why they are friends? Opposites attract?
Van must literally grow up in a matter of moments once she learns that her mother was considered royalty, she may have been killed vs dying during childbirth, her father is missing, he screwed up at work, could be a traitor and possibly a murderer! After learning all of this and the fact that most of what she’s been told her entire life was a lie, she makes the more grown up decision to pursue the 30-day mission she is being assigned, along with a group of several other teens. One of them is the Anchoress, but their identity is hidden from the group until it is necessary.
I really enjoyed this book. It is a must read and flows well. You will not want to put it down. I think young adults and adults will enjoy this book.

Brandon and Macy’s story comes third in the series Powder River Pack. I felt a rollercoaster of emotions while reading this book and honestly didn’t want it to end! The chemistry that book two from the Powder River Pack series gave was phenomenal! Brooke May came in with a bang up second book! I thought the first one was good but this one was unreal! Brooke May is quickly becoming a favourite author of mine and I can’t wait to see what book 3 brings because this was pretty much the perfect paranormal book for me! The dynamic of the characters was something I found myself craving the more I got in the book! I couldn’t wait to see how the ending would turn out! Definitely think you could read as a standalone but hey, may as well not miss out on the other great books right?!

This is the first book I’ve read by the author. Until There Was You is a great book. Falling in love at first sight, troubles from the get go, and parents who don’t understand. I can’t wait for the next book from the author.
Regan is a townie and wants to get out of town. She doesn’t think her life will turn out to be anything and she’s pretty much given up. Enter Jeremy and now she’s questioning everything. The quote I chose for Regan is: “Honestly. Especially not you. My life is a train wreck and I hate the fact that you’ve seen as much as you have. You’re the only outsider I’ve ever let into my life. It was nice having someone see me for me and not judge me based on my family. Guess, I just wanted it to last a little bit longer than it did.”
Jeremy is a business man and has recently broken up with his girlfriend. When he goes into a diner across the street from a lot he just bought he meets Regan. He finds that she is exactly what he’s looking for in a woman. The quote I chose for Jeremy is: “Maybe now you’ve learned your lesson. Next time, Southie, just come home with me when I ask instead of making me persuade you to the point where we’re fucking in the middle of the street. Deal?”
Highly recommended for Contemporary Romance lovers.

I really wasn’t sure what to expect with this book, when I started reading it. This book is very well written that has many twists and turns that left me on the edge of my seat wanting to know what was going to happen next. It did have a little bit of a slow start but once it got going it just didn’t stop. This is a YA paranormal book is a cross between supernatural and coming of age which kept it very entertaining. The characters are so well developed, that Abbey who has a power of seeing ghosts. High school drama, secrets, dead clowns, creepiness, intensity, suspense, mysteriousness and dramatic are just a few words that really describe this amazing book. Highly recommend.

4/5 Stars I honestly went into this not knowing what to expect. I was drawn to this book because the description seemed very interesting. This is a YA paranormal read and it’s very good. Abbey has the ability not only to see, but to interact with ghosts. After visiting the circus with her parents she starts to see clowns everywhere. When her fellow students start turning up missing she has a feeling that the clowns are connected. Will her ability help her to find her missing classmates or will it only make things worse?
I enjoy reading book that have to do with anything paranormal/supernatural. This is only the second book I have read that has dealt with clowns, but it was a good one. I can’t say for sure I’m scared if clowns, but I DEFINITELY wouldn’t want to be seeing dead clowns everywhere I look. I really should have been asleep a whole ago since I have a long day or work ahead of me tomorrow, BUT I couldn’t resist! This book was a page turner and I needed to find out how it ended. I am a first time reader of this author and look forward to reading more of his work.
I really enjoyed The Traveler so leapt at the chance to read Book 2. It didn’t disappoint! Book 2 brings us loads more of Harry’s backstory, which is fascinating, as well as developing the present-day story. I would only recommend this book to people who have read Book 1 – I think it would come across as a bit slow and confusing if you’re not coming at it from that angle. So if you’re reading this review and haven’t read Book 1 I would put that at the top of your tbr list! At the end of Book 1, Harry went into stasis – an incredibly long and deep sleep that would allow him to replenish his energy and heal his body. While he is in stasis, he dreams of some of the many lives he has lived before and these make up the bulk of the story. These are fantastic, taking us to a variety of moments in history and seeing how different humans have responded to Harry in these times. These stories in themselves are very engaging, and at times emotionally moving. Meanwhile, we get to keep up with what’s going on in the world Harry left behind as he sleeps. We see Tristan recovering from the emotional rollercoaster of the first book – I was very grateful to see him still in the story. This book gets five stars from me! I can’t wait to read the next one! I would recommend the series to readers of sci-fi and fantasy who are looking for something entertaining, thought-provoking and original.

This was a cute romantic quick read. This story takes place in a small town called Cupids Cove. This story had me laughing and enjoying all the sweet moments. There are some great characters in this book. The chemistry between the two main characters was jumping off the page. I have read other books by this author and I am never disappointed. Graham has just left his corporate job to start his new business in this small town. Lara finds out there is competition with her family bakery and she is unhappy about the situation. What will come of their attraction? Can they get past the fact that they are in competition? Did I mention that Lara is the Mayor’s daughter. There was some great banter between characters in this book. This is a good read and it’s my suggestion that you don’t miss out.

I liked it but I was confused at the beginning, to the point I almost started over. Instead I kept reading (Un)loved. About two people who love each other but are so broken they can’t be together. It’s sad and happy all at the same time. The author makes you feel for the two main characters. Sophie and Gil are actors just finishing up a movie they filmed together. A film that made them both of them broke the number #1 rule. “Don’t fall in love with your co-star.” The love they have for one another is fierce, but both characters are emotionally broken which leads to a toxic relationship. It’s all about navigating how they feel for one another while trying to figure out who they are as individuals. Do they end up together? What choices about life does each character make? These are just some questions that come to mind while reading this book. Of course if you’re like me, you will be rooting for them, unfortunately their situation doesn’t make a relationship easy, if successful at all. If you like getting involved with the character’s feeling like you’re in the story with them, I suggest you give this book a shot. Since that’s exactly how it makes one feel.
Can I just start by saying WOW!!! I loved the cross between this coming of age and supernatural novel!!! Abbey has a well developed power of seeing ghosts. One day after a jaunty journey to the circus and back dead clowns start appearing at her high school and people start going missing. This is one of the books that once you pick up you can’t put down so fair warning there. It is a really great story and the characters are so well developed that they really drive the story. Being as this was my first book by this novel I am thrilled to say I have found a new favorite author to add to my list!

This is the first book that I have read by this author. This author had me intrigued with the story line especially when it’s a MC and paranormal because these are my favorite reads. I loved the characters they showed real emotions.

Horror and mystery lovers line up! This novel is everything a horror obsessed teen/adult could want. Any reader will fall in love with Abbey from the get-go. Besides being a loving teen, she has a special sense that allows her not only to see the dead, but also to interact with them. The suspense keeps this novel alive from beginning to end. You will not want to put this book down once you start.
From character development to world-building to detail, I am honestly surprised more people have not gotten their hands on this book. I definitely expect to see it on BookTok in the near future!

I thoroughly enjoyed this fun, lighthearted romantic comedy, which kept me happily turning the pages. Set in the old town of Cupid’s Cove, where “Love is Everything”, the author really made the setting come alive, making me feel immersed in the story. The storyline focuses on the town’s mayors daughter Lara and new comer Graham. Graham is a marketing specialist who’s opening his own bakery alongside his newly developed dating app, which matches couples through their taste buds. However, Lara works for the competition, her mother’s bakery. Can the couple put their differences aside and take the ‘cookie match challenge’, and maybe find true love together. I loved the main characters, Graham and Lara were likeable and relatable, and their chemistry came across strongly in the narrative. I was cheering them on hoping they would get their HEA, this is an enjoyable and engaging heartwarming read.

This is a fantastic book that really caught my attention from the word go. This is still a relatively new author to me but I am already at a point of picking up one of these books without reading the description. I just love how with each and every book I am transported fully into the lives of the characters. This book is such a strong start to a new series. I was hooked immediately and loved the whole feel of the book. It had such an exciting storyline and I found it to be one that really played on your emotions. I loved the dynamic between the characters. Everything just fit together so well. This is a brilliant book and I am really looking forward to the next in the series.

This is a fantastic YA novel with such a strong main character right at it’s core. I loved how easy it was to connect with this story and character. The story itself was original and refreshing to read. It isn’t the usual type of YA novel that you would pick it. The story flowed well and was enjoyable to read. The characters were all varied and each added something different to the overall book. The main character stood out as the overall heroin and it was nice to see such a strong character in a book of this genre. I thought the author did a great job and this book was thoroughly enjoyable to read.
Cate killed a man over the past two decades she’s lived with this traumatic experience which changed the course of her life. What a roller-coaster jounrey this book takes you on emntional journey.

When I was younger, I was scared of clowns. I figured as an adult, that fear dissipated. I guessed wrong and this book scared me. I started reading it one night and literally had to stop and continue the next day when the sun was out. It seems as if a lot of people are afraid of clowns and this book digs deep into the stereotypical fear of clowns and turns it into something more sinister. My heart pounded in my chest hard during most of the reading of this book.
You follow a 14 year old girl named Abbey. Abbey is different from other teenagers. She can see and interact with spirits. She starts at a new school thinking her life will be different. A couple days before her new school year starts, her family attends a circus. After that evening, Abbey starts seeing clowns everywhere. She thinks something has followed her home from the circus. On top of all that, a couple of her friends go missing and all signs point to the clown ghosts. Abbey tries to figure out what is going on while trying to find her friends before it is too late.
I felt like this book was rushed. It seemed like everything conveniently fell into place. Abbey mentions that she has lost friends in the past due to her abilities yet everyone just accepts it and moves on like it’s no problem. Plus there were a lot of references to 80’s music which got annoying after a while.
Behemoth (Grimm Wolves MC Book 1) by D.M. Earl. If you love MC books and paranormal then this is for you! It was amazing. Its the story of Francis/Stitch who sorta has two different lives. One life he is a firefighter and the other he’s in the Grimm Wolves Motorcycle Club. In both lives he has the family of his work and MC club but he’s still lonely. Life has not been great to Francis. When he was young his parents were so abusive to him and his siblings and he has had to learn to live with those scars. When he meets a young boy named Damien who wondered into the firehouse he is taken with the boy! When Damien goes home talking about this cool firefighter he meet Grace his mom has to find out what is so special about him. When Grace and Francis meet sparks fly and Francis realizes that he could maybe have a family one day. The only problem is Grace has secrets that involve the MC’s most hated rival club. This author never fails to disappoint this was a shorter story in comparison to others but it was rich with creativity, descriptions, character development (I mean… who thinks up a smoking octopus named clyde…haha!)
This is a fun read full of humor sarcasm drama a little bit of heat and can be read in one sitting. This author never fails to disappoint. check it out!

I am new to the author and her books but I think I’ll be reading more after engulfing this book. Initially, I was intrigued by the beautiful graphics on the cover and hoped the story would be just as intriguing. I was happy to learn that my instincts were right!
This book is a fantastic fictional fantasy story that will make for an incredible series with plenty of room to continue building/expanding the plot and the characters.
Throughout the book, I found myself mesmerized by the exquisite attention to details. I am always on the lookout for authors who have the gift of creating incredible imagery within their stories, and this author did not disappoint. I was hooked by the cover and upon reading from page one.
I thought the book was an easy read and flowed very well.
Can I say again that I did not want to put this book down?
I enjoyed the chemistry amongst the different characters and often felt as if I was rooting for some and hating on others. To evoke that type of reaction in a reader isn’t easy and honestly kept me enthralled from the get go. This book definitely grabbed my attention and never let go.
When the main character, Bernard (Marchand) alters the timeline, I thought of the many stories or movies I have seen in the past regarding timelines, changing history, etc. I immediately thought of the ripple effect and thought, “uh oh.” While I completely understand how someone who has lost people they love would want to go back and change things, the result of such things always seems to have that darn ripple effect and will not always be a positive result. So once the characters attempt to rectify the timeline issue I knew we were in for a bit of drama, suspense, and action.
Also, while I’m not a fan of romance storylines since they tend to overshadow or take away from the main story, I did not mind the romance piece in this book. It was well written and implemented into the story. It works well!
I think any fantasy fan will thoroughly enjoy this book, but the mix of norse mythology and a bit of world history will also satisfy readers of other genres as well.
Overall, this book was incredible and by far one of my favorite reads to date. I give this book 5 out of 5 stars!

I really enjoyed this story. Its a paranormal adventure. The author did an amazing job of bringing the character of Abbey and her story to life. It was also really good how the author wrote the clowns, making them dangerous and scary without being too much or too graphic. Needless to say after reading this book I’m going to be more wary of clowns in the future.
Abbey has just started at a new school. What people don’t know is she had a special gift of seeing spirits. Not ideal when you want to be a normal girl and just fit in. However things start to get stranger after a incident she witnessed at the circus has her seeing clowns everywhere. These clowns aren’t the fun loving entertaining kind. They mean trouble and when her friends start going missing Abbey knows she needs to face the growing fear of these clowns to figure out the truth. Can she figure it out before its too late and stop the clown apocalypse before it happens?
