When I decided to try this book I wasn’t sure what to expect. This is not an author I’m familiar with but I was intrigued for sure.
Once I started reading I was so glad I I decided to read this book. I really enjoyed reading about Lizbeth finding not only family but also herself during the journey through her grief.
Lizbeth like a lot of women threw herself into being a wife and mother and lost who she was and what she wanted. She was given a second chance to rediscover all of that and more and I hope I can figure it out without losing my husband.
Everyone needs a Charlotte in their life, doesn’t matter if it’s a close friend or family member but we all need one.
I cannot recommend this book enough. I think it’s worth the time.

This book was a treat to read for me! I do highly love my passionate books as well as Mafia books. This one was a true engagement from the start, the spice and temptation it brought on, was more than amazing. It was a perfect blend. More like a dessert where you take one bite, and you know you want more.
Something I really enjoyed about this one, I loved the characters yes. They made the story, with out a doubt. The darkness in this book, between the events, as well as the characters really, and I mean really, made me get sucked into this gem of a novel. It was a good read, but not all lollipops and daises between the characters. There was the darkness I would say within a lot of the characters that had to be expelled out of them at different times. And to me that made the characters very relatable and real!
Also the chemistry between Aly and Luca was the spiciness I love and enjoy with all my heart. The moments they shared together, my kindle was needing a fan on it I swear. You really felt the lust and the passion between them. Knowing the darkness within each other, it did not stop the suspense of the feelings of when ever they were near. What I loved about that, was it was not just about that, there was so much more. Even though they did not want to show it to the world, it was there. Through the reading the characters development was perfectly done. I will be reading more of this series with no doubt!
I loved the writing style of this amazing author, and how they suck you in and hold you there as you live on every word, and wonder with anticipation what will happen next! A must read author and certainly a must read book! Highly recommend up Don’t pass this book up, you wouldn’t pass up dessert would you?
In this fast paced story, Thomas sets out on a hike and turns out to be one heck of an adventure. I am not typically a Sci-Fi reader but this one kept me wanting to know what happens next. I really enjoyed how well the scenes were set and the pictures laid out for you. The geeky references to Star Trek and other sci-fi related shows really made me smile. I enjoyed that the main character is not your typical young stud that winks at all the ladies and wins them over, but a 60 yr old man with realistic expectations. It definitely reads smoothly, and easy to follow, with intricate characters and character growth along the way. This is a new author for me, but I really enjoyed the writing style and pace. The View from Here is a wonderfully written Sci-Fi/Adventure that once you start reading you won’t want to stop till you’ve finished . This is a fairly new author to me and I’m definitely a fan already and can’t wait to read more from him. This story is full of action from the first page, seeing Luca’s start in life till now you understand why there is such rivalry with the Rossi’s and Mancini’s. Luca is captivated with Aly but he see’s away to get back at Mancini with making his daughter fall in love with him and this will be the ultimate betrayal. Although when Aly’s brother Jonny and the next in line for the Mancini line is killed, Aly’s father must find away to keep her the next in line to takeover the family but of course this goes wrong.
I love the character of Aly, she is full of sass and determination to become the woman she wants to be, within the mafia world she has seen how they have treated her mother and is determined that is not going to happen to her. Although when Luca comes into the picture, she is fascinated by him although at first, they are frenemies she then starts having feeling towards him and eventually they both can’t hide their true feelings anymore.
The characters in this story are so well developed and rich, the story is powerful but shows that there is a soft side to rugged men and that love does win out in the end. I can’t wait to read more books in this series and by this author.

Their families are mortal enemies, and he takes what he wants, this time though in doing so there will be an all-out war. Falling for the enemy is nothing short of death, pain, and misery but in the end, he must make her his. No one else can have her. He makes her feel safe, secure. He is all consuming.

In the beginning I thought this was another blissfully happy HEA in the making. Elsa and Anton are perfectly happy, successful people both missing the one thing they crave… family. I had to push through to read the first few chapters but it quickly became a good story. Caspian is set to inherit his Uncle’s company but there is one caveat. Caspian must take a wife and stay married for at least one year in order to take over. As is the way of fate he bumps into an old childhood friend who is down on her luck. Paisley is a struggling artist and her mother is extremely Ill. Caspian and Paisley begin a marriage of convenience that quickly turns to a mirror of self discovery. Will they find true and abiding love or will their illusions of self cause them to drift further apart? This was an easy read and the simplicity of the story allows you to take breaks in between chapters. I really enjoyed it.

This is a well written story, that is both fast paced and still plot driven. I thoroughly enjoyed this book. The characters are well developed and draw you into the story. This paranormal dystopian novel is about Amy trying to find her dad, but during her journey finds herself. Amy can fly but doesn’t know why. As she searches for answers she uncovers secrets, lies and maybe more than she bargained for. This was one of those books you can’t put down.

True to her writing bent the author takes them on a rollercoaster ride of drama, suspense, romance, fantasy, magic and love. I enjoyed the fifth installment in this series. If you haven’t read the first four I recommend you do so as you really need all the details and plot developments to fully enjoy this tale. While the story at times is a little too fast paced and has some plot holes it is a great read and I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Elsa and Anton have what seems like the perfect marriage until tragedy happens. They go through a lot of trials and tribulations in this story. I found myself completely invested in their story. I found this book to be emotional and I couldn’t put it down until I found out if they are able to work through the issues. This book deals with some serious issues and the author does an excellent job writing about these issues in a sensitive, compassionate way. This was a great read and I’m glad I decided to dive right in. I highly recommend this book.

To Be a Fae Queen amazed me! There were so many different elements in the book that it was slightly overwhelming at first. But, once the different elements began to intertwine, it all made sense and I could not put this book down. Tricia Copeland delivers superb characters and an interesting storyline. Copeland also creates a magical world of Middle Earth, the land between Upper and Lower Earth, where the Fae reside. To Be a Fae Queen is magical, fantastical, but also believable and relatable in a way. I felt drawn to the world of the Fae and their duty to protect the dwellers of Upper Earth, the humans. The Fae must also protect their own realm and kingdoms, which creates problems for the newly appointed Queen Titania. I am greatly looking forward to the next book in The Realm Series!

Oof!!! My mind is absolutely blown!!! From the start I thought the author under played the suspenseful plot and the paranormal bent but with book two came back with a bang. Now book three is absolutely mind blowing!! The paranormal is kinda more in the undertones of this part of the tale, but once again family plays a heavy part of the plot. Ari (Miles) is a superstar and has met his match but Bella finds his fascination with Fire a little frightening. She is both intrigued and repulsed. Will we get an HEA? I am not gonna tell you, you will have to read it to find out! You won’t be disappointed!!

After reading book one I was apprehensive about reading the second one but was intrigued enough to see if the author filled in the plot holes from the first story and I am so glad I did. This book is well written and includes a little bit of everything. It is all at once suspenseful, romantic and paranormal. Family is the overall theme and plays heavily in this tale. Overall I enjoyed this story immensely and can’t wait for book three.

This was my first read by this author. I found that this story had several plot and character details that were either missing or ambiguous. That said it was a pretty good read. I think some of the tale is engaging and well developed. I enjoyed the suspenseful moments and found the family dynamics believable. I am hopeful that the next in this series will fill in some of the plot gaps.

I love curling up to a great mafia, dark romance and this was a perfect read. Right from the beginning I was entranced with the dual POV of Aly and Luca. Two rival mafia families and forbidden chemistry make this story sizzle. Luca is intriguing, protective, alpha and part of the Rossi family. Aly is smart and strong and part of the Mancini family. When they meet, you can just feel Luca’s presence in protecting Aly, even though she is from a rival mafia family. Things turn when Aly has an arranged marriage by her father and Luca was not having none of that to the point the families were about to have a war over it. I loved the action, twists, turns and steamy chemistry between Luca and Aly!
Ketril and his buddy are at it again. Rivalries, death of a woman and it’s mighty close to home. Again, this is an excellent book. A historical mystery set in the time of the Vikings, it has lots of action, wonderful characters and a plot that will keep you engaged and wanting more. I thoroughly enjoyed this book. I highly recommend it.

This story finds Luca and Aly on opposite sides of the Mafia. Aly the “secret” daughter that no one acknowledges but yet they all protect and Luca, the orphan who was adopted into the Mafia and made a son. Luca vows to always protect Aly and he keeps his word up to the day that he takes her for his own. WONDERFUL character building, I can’t wait to see what happens in the rest of the series. New to me author but she has drawn into her world with this first book in the series.
This isn’t a genre I read often but once I started I was pulled right in. This was a great suspenseful 5 star read. This is a fast paced read about Amy who decides to search for her father to get some answers and hopefully have a relationship with him. I was on the edge of my seat waiting to see what was coming next and to see if she would succeed. There are so many things going on, the author does a great job with her writing. All of the characters added a great element to the story. I also enjoyed the story because I live in Wisconsin not far from where this story was set. Just made it a little extra special. You can read this book as a stand alone but you may want to read book one first so you get the back story. I look forward to reading more from this author. 1-click and get started today.
This is a one-of-a kind book. I have never read a historical mystery set in the time of the Vikings. The plot was orginal. The suspense had me on the edge of my seat wanting to keep reading to see what would happen next. The characters were unique and engaging. I found their personalities something that kept me into the story. this was a fantastic story and I loved it. I’m looking forward to reading more in this series. Highly recommend.

This is the second book in the series. If you haven’t read first one I encourage you to. Titania’s story continues with trouble brewing and problems with the High Council. She is still the heroine you fall in love with in first book, but the events in this book add more dimension to her character. I’m still blown away with the attention to detail with this fantasy world. I hope there will be another book!

Talk about having to grow up quick, this book delivered a heroine that will surprise you with her maturity and wisdom. After her three brothers die, Titania is next in line to take the throne. At the age of fifteen, Titania has to make decisions with her kingdom in mind. The world created by the author is beautiful, full, and dangerous. I thought the character development was in depth with the characters facing adversity and having issues within as well. If you love fantasy worlds, this is your book!

This is not my first book by this author but it is one of my favorites by her. This is the first book in this new series for her and I look forward to reading more. This is a great start to the series. It is dark in spots and the author’s writing style brings the story to life. I was pulled into the story by the characters and kept engaging to the end. The twists and turns made the story not only pop but also hard to put down. This is a mafia romance story where the characters are connectable and made the story entertaining to read. It is a fast paced story about what happens when an arranged marriage turns out to be more than what is bargained for. I enjoyed the characters’ connection and chemistry. Their growth as well as the plot growth throughout the story made the story easy to read. It is a great story that I really enjoyed and is worth the pick up. I highly recommend this book and this author.
Here we are again with a terribly young queen with insight far beyond her tender age of 16 years old.
Titania struggles as the realm doesn’t appreciate she saved them from disaster and instead condems her. she struggles knowing her instincts are right and true but a council of a different generation can’t see things the way she does.
she perseveres despite some heart lurching goodbyes and she learns not to trust so quickly except in her own decisions. she makes one hard decision after another but continues above all else to put the realm and her kingdom first.

This book was fire right from the beginning. I love a good mafia war and especially one as saucy as this! The book was engaging, well written, entertaining, and had just the perfect amount of burn. The Bear at Midnight is the fourth intriguing instalment in the Orkneyinga Murders series by Lexie Conyngham. As with the previous books, this is an intriguing historical crime and investigation story- a bit of a whodunit murder mystery that kept me guessing the whole way through. Again, this story is set in Scotland in the age of the Vikings- with characters we have met previously. And as I have come to expect, this talented author pulled me into the story and transported me through time with her vivid descriptions and detailed storytelling. This book could be read as a standalone, but I highly recommend reading the previous books, as they are definitely worth the read, too. Looking forward to more.
