OOOOOOOOOOOOhhhhhhhhh yes! I love a spicy vampire series. As book one this is one of the most enticing and original vampire story. A little bit of spice and romance with the danger of death. This plot is so well created it stays true to the vampire lure. You can never go wrong with a main character named Salvatore and a green eyed beauty. This was so enjoyable I cannot wait to read book two. This author had me obsessed from the first chapter.

I absolutely love this series! Master Trentino did not disappoint. I’m a sucker for a romance novel, but I am not and have always been obsessed with vampires. I enjoy other supernatural beings but I hold Vampires up on a pedestal and I don’t care who knows it! Continuing on their quest to find out who Lazareth is answering too, who has been betraying the Vampire community, while putting the mates of the other masters and overmaster in danger. Trentino comes across Angel in his travels. Unfortunately for Angel her brothers, though over protective, have sealed her fate the minute they tried to hide Lazareth in her basement. Trentino is drawn to her and shows up at the right time to turn her into a member of the Vampire community. Angel, now a vampire mourning the loss of two of her brothers, struggles with her new reality. She grew up believing vampires were bad & scum, now she doesn’t know how to feel. All the while her oldest brother has been taken hostage for ransom somewhere. Keeping her on edge. If you like a good romance and are like me and love vampires, trust me you will get everything you need and then some from this book and series. Come check it out!

I love this series each and everyone. I love the bond the women share. I love that the women can find their soulmate and how they did as children. This book shows that no matter what you do in the dark will come out.

With it being the holiday season, what better read than a Christmas read about a town in Oregon named Holiday?
You meet Cora Lee riding a train west to meet the man who ordered her as a bride. Once she gets to Holiday, it becomes very apparent to her that something isn’t right. She soon discovers that her intended didn’t really send for her, but his dad did! Thinking he was doing his son a favor, he picked her out and wrote to her for his son! However, he has TWO sons, not just the one he had planned on Cora Lee marrying. While they await the arrival of the errant son, Cora Lee falls in love with his twin and vice versa! Will she declare her love before the intended brother comes to claim her? Will he? Or will she break her own heart and leave?
This was a sweet, western story. I felt like I got little snippets of interesting history while reading, too! The author did a wonderful job of showing how family can be disappointing but also can be chosen. I enjoyed reading about Cora Lee and how she found her place and learned to stand up for herself. Perfect afternoon read!
This was a great 5 star read. I was pulled in right from the start. Cora Lee is traveling to Holiday to meet her husband to be and start a new life. She is a little nervous but when she meets another woman traveling to Holiday for the same reason they become fast friends.
When she arrives he is nowhere to be found, his father is the one that picks her up. She meets his aunt (who I really liked) and his brother Jace. When she is around him she gets butterflies, there is something about him that she really likes but she knows that she is betrothed to his brother. Jace befriends Cora, he has no intention to marry but the closer he gets to Cora the more feelings start to develop.
Will Cora stay true to her original plans or will she follow her heart?
Overall I really enjoyed this read. All of the characters added a great element to the story. I instantly liked Jace and after getting to know a little more about Jude I didn’t care so much for him. The author does a great job with her writing, you feel like you are right in the story with the characters. This love story was great, the characters grew throughout and were made for each other. If you’re looking for a great historical romance this is one you will really enjoy. I look forward to reading more from this author. 1-click and get started today.
This book was just simply amazing. Being the third in the series I just knew that I had to read it, and when it hit my kindle I dove right in. I have once again fallen in love with the authors wonderful characters, both the masters and the beautiful women that they claim. I loved that Angel was the one working with Master Trentino, the chemistry between the two of them was enough to take your breath away and keep you on the edge of your seat. Like the previous installments there are reaccuring characters and there is never a dull moment. Full of romance, suspense, action and more, this book is just marvelous from start to finish.

This book and series continues to amaze me and give me all the feels on how wonderful a great series truly is. I have been invested from the beginning of book 1 and continue to love this series. I recommend starting this series from the beginning as each book continues the story of Vanessa, Raef, Grey and Aroz…but what I can say is you will not be disappointed! The story is full of action, drama with a roller coaster of emotions that keep you turning the pages. If you love paranormal romance with some sizzle and add in Greek Mythology and adventure and you have a great series of books that just makes your love of reading even more!!

This author never disappoints, and this series only continues to get better each book! Sexy, dark, dangerous, and intense can sum up a few things about this book! As we encounter the new characters and the old ones you cannot help but feel giddy for what’s about to come. We are now introduced to our 3rd couple we are drawn more into the dark Vampire world and its hidden secrets.
You could feel every emotion, action, and word spoken between Master Trentino and Angel. Events that lead Trentino to saving Angel’s life by turning her change them both forever. Angel was raised to believe Vampires were the enemy, and as she begins her transformation there are many mixed emotions. As she comes into her new self she must learn to accept her new world and also try to fight her feelings and cravings for Master Trentino. Trentino and Angel have much to learn from one another, and as they intertwine their life and love they find a way through the chaos together.

Black Canvas had me hooked fast! I couldn’t put this book down. Laura Rossi does an amazing job building her characters, setting the scenes just right, and making you question everything you thought was real! I love psychological and crime books and Black Canvas gets a high ranking on my list of great ones! The characters are so realistic and relatable and the emotions felt by the characters are felt by the reader as well. Your pulse quickens with the anxiety of anticipation, you hold your breath waiting for the next plot twist, and in the end, want to read it all over again because you find yourself wondering what the heck you just read! This book stuck with me far after the last sentence was read. I kept replaying the events in the book and wondering if there was anything I missed, some subtle clue as to the true nature of the characters. This is definitely a book I would read again and recommend to others!

I really have to be in a certain mood to read bully romances and it seems I was in one of those when i started this book. I was so heartbroken reading this and how awful everyone was to our lead female, not just our “bully”. She told absolutely no one as she had no one. Then her saving grace moves to town. I really liked how he was the middle ground for both parties and was able to bring some clarity to the three year long bullying.
I really felt for her and i felt things went too fast in forgiving but this is a book so i understand.

You should really read this series from the start. It’s so worth it! Following Vanessa on her trials and tribulations has been quite the adventure. This series is filled with drama, romance and horrible mother in laws. I love books about Greek mythology. The author effortlessly incorporated the myth of Psyche into these books. You’ll grow to love these characters, they are wonderful. Aside from the main characters, I adore PK and Gorgonita. Although I was a little sad for this series to end, I think this book is a fitting and amazing ending to an incredible story. Review by @Anna Hirsch

The Heart of Hussar was a wonderful book! So Enigmatic! The world this author created was beautiful and imaginative, described in such a way that I felt as if I was really there! The plot of this story was well thought out and I enjoyed very much how well the story flowed. The characters were amazing and I couldn’t pick a favourite if I tried. Not a book I normally would have chosen but I’m glad I gave it a shot! The author did a terrific job and I definitely recommend giving it a read!

I honestly have no idea what to say about this book. I am in awe. From start to finish you are taken on a dark ride full of suspense, mystery, darkness.
The main character, Aria, is a psychiatrist who had lost a patient named Ivy a few weeks back. She decided to take time off of work to grieve. A girl named Claudia was found and instantly Aria was attracted to her story. Aria dove into her case causing a lot of previous stuff to come up.
Aria is still trying to figure out what went wrong with her previous patient while also trying to figure out her new patient. Both Ivy and Claudia’s story are very similar to each other so Aria is trying to figure out why and how they are connected.
The author did an amazing job getting into people minds and staying there. With huge plot twists around every corner, it kept me guessing from the first to last page.

This book started off right where the last one ended and the relationship with Vanessa and her three gods gave me life. I was rooting for them since the beginning. The chemistry only grows with each book and the struggles they face are more complex. I definitely recommend this book and the entirety of the series!

This novel was written so well. The character development is outstanding. The suspense killed me from the first page to the end of the book. I truly felt as if I were Aria/Ivy, or living inside of her head trying to figure out what is actually going on. Definitely a must read if you enjoy psychological thrillers.
From a psychological standpoint, the author did a great job interpreting mental health and the effects of it from that persons point of view. I am no expert in regard to Bipolar Personality Disorder, but I love that it was depicted in a Doctor’s point of view because that is the reality, right? No one can escape the effects of mental health, and that includes people that have PhD’s.

This is definitely quite an odd book to read as there is no set storyline to it. The author just seems to meander through the book with the help of a few characters. And yet it works. You don’t really miss not having that typical structure. You find yourself caught up in the story anyway and wandering along with it. I enjoy the range of different characters in the book and how they all felt unique. This is a strangely enjoyable read that I would recommend.

Limbo is a very thought provoking book. That is down to earth and beautiful in its own way. I have to say I have never read a book like this and I truly enjoyed it. This book raises so many questions and does not answer them by the end. Usually that would have me upset but that felt perfect for this book. I actually felt peace and a lightness after reading it.
After 16 year old Alyse dies of brain cancer she finds herself in a ghost town that is quite literally occupied by ghosts. Everyone there calls the town limbo. Because they are presumably stuck in-between the living and the afterlife they expected. No one knows why they’re in Limbo, how to leave it or why their afterlife is filled with strangers or people they dislike.
This book takes us on a beautiful journey of self discovery, acceptance and making the best out of a less than ideal situation. The multiple points of view allows the reader to join many characters on their discovery of growth and acceptance. For me this book was about finding peace within yourself and with the people around you. This is a must read!!!

I loved this Christmas novella! It had everything a Christmas romance should have. A snowy small town, a kind hearted but lonely woman and a sweet gentleman who comes along to show her what Christmas is really about.
Amber is a strong independent bar owner who loves her town and everyone it in. However, she is Cold Creek’s designated Grinch. She is in her annual bahhumbug mood when handsome Gio walks into her bar and turns her world upside down. Gio is a single father of a sweet 6 year old girl and they just moved into town when he meets Amber. He is instantly attracted to her and her spunky attitude. When he discovers that she despises Christmas he makes it his mission to find out why and to convince her to give Christmas a second try.
This book filled me with Christmas spirit and joy. It was a fast read but I still had time to fall in love with the characters and Cold Creek. This is a must read book for anyone looking to snuggle up with a blanket, some coca and romance this Christmas season!

Wow. I honestly don’t know how to feel about this book. It dives so deep into the mind that it’s shocking to see the layers unfold. I’ve always loved psychological thrillers because of the twists and turns they take you through, and this book is no disappointment there. We all wear masks and have different versions of ourselves, and this story explores that with frightening depth and weaves a tale that is absolutely stunning. The characters, the internal thoughts, the dialogue – all of it is so intriguing, it’s hard to step away from and also keeps you pondering long after you’ve read the last word. Brilliant piece of work.

I would hop on the Holiday Express called Hope every day! Their cute little settlement of Holiday sounds like a little slice of heaven, like where my family and I reside. If only we had the plethora of pine trees to pick from for our Christmas tree, like Cora Lee, Jace, and Grant did, that would really make our holidays that much more memorable. The author recreates the magic of the holidays in this beautifully written novel, and I for one, was able to really picture the essence of their spirit, their community, and the love that Elk Creek Ranch holds. What’s a romance with a little bump here and there, which is where Jude comes into play, read and see!
The slow burning romance was well done, and although you had an idea of how this adventure would hit a troubling part, it still has its readers holding their breath, really hoping for the happily ever after that the Coleman’s had earned. I absolutely adore Cora Lee, and her openness to new beginnings, as well as all those that reside on the ranch. I was sad when this story came to an end, as it was a beautifully written escape from reality. I feel as though my steps are a little lighter, and my outlook a little brighter as we get closer to another difficult COVID-19 Christmas. Thank you, I cannot wait to read the rest of this series, highly recommend!
This is a Contemporary Romance novel and is 156 pages in length. This story follows Amber and Giovanni. Oh my heart! Amber is a bar owner and would love a family of her own. The only problem is, she does not have the best memories of holidays and so she holds back and does not participate. Giovanni is a chef and a single dad. He loves the holidays. He talks her into spending the holidays with his family – will he be able to persuade her to look at them differently? The author really hit this out of the park!

This is the first book in the Holiday Express series. I really enjoyed this story and it was a surprise. Looking at the cover you would expect an historical romance which it is but this is so much more. As well as romance we have danger and turmoil as emotions run wild. I loved Cory’s character, she is a strong determined woman who won’t have the wool pulled over her eyes. I also love Jace. He is a good hearted man who you know would make Cora really happy if only they could give into their feelings.
Cora leaves her home and take the holiday express to meet the man she is supposed to marry. Having no idea who he is and what he’s like Cora is filled with apprehension and scared she has made the right decision. On arriving she is met by her future father in law and when it seems that her future husband to be isn’t around or interested Cora starts to doubt whether her future husband wanted this marriage or not.
Meanwhile Jace is the brother who drives the Holiday Express. When he meets his future sister in law he knows things aren’t as they seem and wonders if his dad is trying to play matchmaker again. Now they are all living together and Jace is finding it harder everyday to keep his feelings away from being romance towards Cora.
With a mystery, trains, train robberies and secrets that will come unravelled will Cora stay and marry Jude or will she finally give in to her true love?
Whimsical A beautiful holiday romance drenched in history and emotions. The writing drew me in and the storyline kept me there. I felt transported through time and I could visualise the twin of Holiday and Cora Lee and Jace. The story is heartwarming and the world building fantastic. The little snippet of book 2 makes me want to continue this series immediately.

Another amazing book in this captivating series by this wonderful author. i never can get enough of their books or the characters threat they create! I am always sucked in completely and hooked, and I tend to fall in love with every Master in every book, as they are all different in sexy and wonderful ways!
I really liked Angel in this one who is working with Master Trentino! The two were quite the pair to say the least. Both brought on that strong chemistry and wow factor when they shared conversations together as well as when they just stood close to one another in the same room! I love how this book really had a strong connection between these two! I know the others did as well, but this one seemed the characters were made for one another just from the start! Of course, loved how past characters from the other books make their appearances. I love how I learn more and more about The Consulate in every book I enjoy reading. This one was my favorite so far. I loved Angel on who she was as a person, and she truly spoke to me as if she had parts of my soul within her! There is never a dull moment in this series. This one really brought on the suspense and action, and those sexy scenes I know and love. The book was wonderful with action, romance, and steaminess’. I loved this book from start to finish!
Wonderful read once again by such an amazing author. I truly can never get enough of this work, they write such wonderful books full of wonderful characters. This book was such a delight to read, and after a weekend of craziness this was exactly what I needed to read. I was hooked right from the start The story brought on much intrigue and love for the characters. I could not get enough, it truly was a joy! Wonderful read!
I loved this book how it takes place, meeting the person you are the spend your life with then all the action and hiccups along the way. I loved how Cora handled everything. She was strong and independent and you could tell she would not let anything stop her from reaching her goal and that was being and meeting her husband, The book flowed so easily and nicely. It was a pure joy! The author really knew how to keep my attention, as well as that, it was very realistic, it was as if a series of true events was happening before my eyes! Loved this book! I will defiantly be reading more by this wonderful author!
Wonderful read, and perfect time for the holidays! I could not get enough of the joyous feelings I got as I read this wonderful book! I highly recommend this book and this series as well as this gifted author! Truly a perfect read with a nice cup of hot coca! Loved it from end to finish! Amazing enjoyment!
