Welcome to the world of Satan’s Devils. I LOVE this Author and her MC stories. I have come to enjoy this series. This was an Audio Book so the Narrator needs to be mentioned. His voice is perfect and at times I heard John Wayne reading the story. We all know the voices make the story come to life. I recommend you follow this series and start with book one. You won’t be let down. As this author will keep you reading this exciting romance with a twist. Drummer is the Pres of the Satan’s Devils. Sweet butt was as close to a relationship as he wanted. No commitments and no Ole Lady. Sam has just lost her mother, but just before she passed away, she told Samantha the name of her father. Sam is one tough lady, and she proves so as she looks for her father. Coming to Satan’s Devils could be asking for trouble. But her strength and motorcycle knowledge may help her. Let’s not forget who her father is. He plays an important character as well. No Spoilers found in this review. I’m looking forward to book 3.

Blood Oath (Mafia Elite, #2)Blood Oath by Amy McKinley

5 stars

Sofia is happiest in her studio creating her fabulous designs, when a threat from the Russian Mafia stirs up bleak and unwanted memories of past trauma. Trauma she shared with the fiercely protective, and sexy Underboss, Enzo Vitale. Sofia and Enzo would have done anything for eachother but recently their distance has been growing, new walls and secrets threatening to overwhelm them both.
I am obsessed with this series! Mckinley’s world is dangerous, twisted, and sexy! Set up perfectly so her characters can continue to grow. I can feel the emotions of every character with such detail and conviction. The yearning between Enzo and Sofia is so strong you could tell that they have loved each other their whole lives! I can’t wait to read more!

Blood Oath (Mafia Elite, #2)Blood Oath by Amy McKinley
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This book had me hooked from the start. I couldn’t wait to get my hands on this one after reading No Way Out, the first book in this series. You don’t have to have read the first book to enjoy this one but it is my suggestion that you do because it’s a great story. I have read other books by this author and I enjoy the writing style. Sophia and Enzo have been part of each other’s lives since they were children and have loved each other for just as long but Enzo is contracted to marry another and Sophia has secrets that could have deadly consequences. This is a must read if you want to find out what happens between these two and if the secrets get revealed. This book is filled with danger, suspense, romance, great characters and so much more. I was thoroughly entertained, and I think you will enjoy it as well.

Liliana Brambilla is a Mafia princess who has been used by her father in his struggle for power for as long as she can remember. Untrusting, she believes everyone is in her fathers, Benito Brambilla’s pocket. That is until she meets her new protector Matt “Max” whom she finally feels she can trust and will keep her safe. That is, until he reveals who he really is…
McKinley’s work is sexy, imaginative, and detailed. I could feel the electricity between the main characters immediately. Riveting and action packed I could not put it down! With twists and turns that keep you on the edge of your seat. Mckinley sets the scene so well you feel like you are there, she pulls you in and there’s No Way Out.

Unlikely to Fit (A Parker Lake Novel Book 2)Unlikely to Fit by Olivia Sherwood
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This is the second installment of the Parker Lake Novel series that I have read and this one was just as good as the previous book. I will suggest that you read the books in order so that you can get a clear understanding of the characters, but I don’t feel that it’s a must as the author does a phenomenal job with her descriptions. Despite the cover photo, which had me a little concerned, this was such a hilarious, romantic comedy. I couldn’t put it down and can’t wait to get my hands on book three. If you are a series fanatic of romantic comedies like me then you will love this book and I highly recommend it. I think that this would be a great series for you and your friends to read together because you would have so much to discuss. It may even remind you of people and places that you know. A very good book.

A Sweet Christmas: A Sweet Confections Novella by Nicole Richards – Review by Lorrene Huisman

A Sweet ChristmasA Sweet Christmas by Nicole Richard
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I really enjoyed this book through out my reading. It was one that so easy to get lost into! I enjoyed the concept of the story, as well as the main two characters pairing up as a treat for this holiday season! I literally connected so well to them, and their story was lighthearted and engaging! Loved this book!

First off, I am a Christmas fanatic, and I do my home baking and am a owner for baking out of my home. So of course the story line with the holidays and the bakery appealed greatly to me. What I got from reading this, was sheer happiness and enjoyment! Benjamin and Thea were a perfect dessert together, the kind you pair together at those fancy holiday parties! Their chemistry was making my poor kindle sweat, and was able to laugh and feel things I did not expect! I was in love with this book all the way. The writing was well done, and there were no hiccups in the writing where it was a lost in the mind for the reader, everything made sense and flowed just so nicely, it was perfect for me, plus spice is always nice!

For me Benjamin and Thea were an iconic duo! They meshed perfectly, and it was not a story where its literally jump to the spice, they worked up to it, I mean I enjoyed the spicy scenes as much as my kindle. I loved their story, how they met and how they got together. It sometimes can only take that one look at a person, for that person to be the one person you never want to forget the face of! The story was sweet and full of treats though out my reading, progressed well, and was a easy and fun read, was a delight!

Again, this story had quickly become a personal favorite of mine. I could not get over the story when I completed it I was sad to close the book and consider it done. That said, I will be sure re reading this story over again! I loved it, and I do highly recommend this beautiful book, it is a must read!

A Sweet ChristmasA Sweet Christmas by Nicole Richard
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Pumpkin spiced cakes, red-velvet cupcakes, Ben has found a woman that can bake straight to his heart. Thea owns a delightful bakery but doesn’t make cupcakes. Ben happened to turn into an exception. This book is a delightful holiday romance to satisfy the 18+ group. A little Christmas, a dash of romance, a pinch of spice, and two characters that have perfect chemistry together. Mix together and let sit to rise and you have a thoroughly funny book. I giggled, empathized, and teared up. The characters are so easy to relate to. The plot flows smooth like a slow and easy ride down the river. (The story is not slow however. Your attention is grabbed from the beginning and you don’t want to put it down.) You should read this one. It would be a quick weekend read for those chilly snow days. A warm blanket, hot chocolate and this book. I highly recommend it. I’m hoping to read some more from this author.

Christmas Cookies on a Cruise Ship is the first book in The Perfect Pairing Series by Parker Fairchild. This is a wonderfully written Christmas Romance that I absolutely loved reading. I’ve been in a funk lately and this was just what I needed to restore my spirit. This is a holiday romance that will warm your heart. Plus who doesn’t love a great Christmas story, cookies and a Hot Navy Seal? This is Olivia and Jace’s story. She’s going on a cruise to avoid having to spend Christmas with her sister and her fiancé which just happens to be Olivia’s ex. Jace is on the cruise with some of his Seal buddies and they’re going to a wedding . The chemistry between these two are off the charts. I highly recommend reading this book to find out what happens next. I can’t wait to read the next book in this series.

LUKE (DEFAULT DISTRACTION #4) by A.S. Roberts-Review by Elena Tobar

Luke (Default Distraction #4)Luke by A.S. Roberts
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Luke and Nikki fit together like pieces of a puzzle. Poor Luke started out his life as an innocent baby that had been abandoned by his mother. Then he tragically loses his wife and is left to raise his beautiful daughter Brielle. Luckily his band mates step up and help her to have a family but Luke and Brielle are still missing something very important-a special female influence. The way that Luke first comes across Nikki made me burst out laughing! It was definitely fate and perhaps even Cherise that brought the two of them together the way it did. The way that Luke got so upset when he thought that her teenage crush had been on Cody was so adorable. They both try to fight their growing attraction but there’s no denying how perfectly they fit together. This book made me swoon, tear up and laugh out loud and the ending absolutely took my breath away with its perfection.

Wow. I don’t think I have a read a story quite like this one for a while. Not for the faint of heart, that’s for sure. With very descriptive events, violence, explicit sex scenes, you are getting a whole lot thrown at you all at once. What it didn’t lack was dramatics. With some sizzling escapades and constant energy, this is a story you cannot put down. Well written, attention grabbing goodness. The story was a fair paced one, and it was pretty unique. The context was original and something I have not read a lot of. Not quite the way this one is written anyway. I loved the different writing style and loved what the story represented. It was extremely dramatic and a really great read. I managed to get lost in it and that isn’t something I can do just for the sake of finishing a story. It has to be a good one. This story was. 4 stars.

This is the first book I have read from this author and she blew me away. I love a good rock star romance but this author exceeded all my expectations. This is the first book of the Gracefall Vicious Love Tour and what a great way to start this series. I was hooked on the first chapter. I couldn’t put this book down until the end. It only took me over a day to devour this addictive story. I can’t wait to see who she is going to write about next.

Melody and Joe have been best friends for years. Joe is a drummer to a well known band called Gracefall and they find out that they are doing a headliner tour. He is so excited when Melody says yes to joining the tour. Melody doesn’t want to fall for a rock star because she knows what type of life that brings but she keeps on feeling things for Joe she can’t explain. Will Melody and Joe become more than friends or will they figure out they can only be friends in this world?

I enjoyed this story. Just what I needed to welcome the holiday season. This story is not a wholesome hallmark story. There are some physical interactions. I read the book in one sitting. Storyline kept me invested. I feel like I neglected things I probably needed to get done today. The characters are adorable. I love Julia’s and Thea’s relationship. I was suspicious of Ben the entire story and was kinda disappointed that I was wrong. The shoe didn’t drop he is a decent guy. Romance movies and real life has apparently jaded me lol. It’s definitely a good read.

Unlikely to Fit is the second book in the Parker Lane series but can be read as a standalone. This is my first book by this author but it will not be my last because i enjoyed the story alot and i really liked the authors writing style as well. The main characters of this story were super likeable and i adored them both. Breckin and Griffin have both been through the ringer and the growth they both had throughout the story made them that much more awesome. I couldn’t put this one down because i wasn’t ready for their story to end! I am excited for this author to put out more books in the future and i would recommend this to a friend!

I genuinely enjoyed this novel. The author truly brought the struggles, happiness, strength and love out in her characters. From the title you know the weekend fling would end up as more but I thoroughly enjoyed the little surprises that brought this story to a different level than a traditional HEA. I also love that she used a woman with a “not so perfect body” as the heroine of this story. Even the supporting characters have a great story. Definitely worth the read!!!

The author did a fantastic job of showing how magical Christmas time can be. I felt like I was reading a Hallmark Christmas Movie. I really enjoyed the evolution of Olivia’s character. Jace’s character had such a great mix of . masculine war hero, loving and funny. Every girls dream. I genuinely loved the storyline and the characters. I’m probably gonna reread this again closer to Christmas.

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This book was so unbelievably good. The author has another hit that I hope will become a series. I have not read anything like it before, the characters are so unique and unforgettable. As a book with Paranormal characters, I can’t say I have read about a vulture shifter before. It is obvious that they are passionate, too. They have such big hearts. The characters, the secondary as well as the primary, are what really make it a phenomenal story.

This book pulled me in immediately and I want to know so much more about them, past, present and future. This is a MM Paranormal Romance that is definitely worth picking up. I beg the author to give us more!

Surprise Baby for Mr. Fischer (Curvy Ever After, #2)Surprise Baby for Mr. Fischer by Stephanie Harrell
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This is such a beautiful love story. This book absolutely blew me away from the very first page. I really like that Harper is not a size two, she has curves and Lincoln is immediately taken in by her beauty. It doesn’t take him getting to know her before he finds her attractive. He is attracted to her physically and then also mentally once he does get to know her. Harper had such a rough childhood being bullied because of her weight and she doesn’t think that anyone, much less someone as hot as Lincoln would find her so physically attractive. It doesn’t take him long to get her to see her physical beauty as well and to realize that it’s just as amazing as her inner beauty. Lincoln had a really rough childhood and doesn’t feel that he could be a good father but he takes the leap and starts to realize that not only can he do this but he wants it with all of his heart. They face some pretty rough obstacles along the way but the ending is all I could have hoped for. If you’re an absolute die heard romance fan like I am, this is one book you definitely won’t want to miss.

Christmas Cookies on a Cruise Ship (The Perfect Pairings Series Book 1) by Parker Fairfield is a fun christmas romance, reminded me of a Hallmark movie.

Olivia Chasen, a chemist, and a budding writer, is on a cruise to escape spending Christmas with her twin sister and her new fiancé—ex. Jace is a Navy SEAL. He’s on the cruise going to his friend’s wedding. But unknown to them, they are up for a treat of their lifetime, when Mr and Mrs Claus themselves step in to make a perfect Christmas match.

It is a lovely book to bring on the Christmas spirits. I enjoyed every bit of it.

Dr. Olivia was a wonderful character, and it was a delight to watch her fall in love. Jace was perfectly sweet and lovable. He and Olivia together was a lot of fun, and the chemistry was there from the start. We had wonderful older characters, and were even visited by the amazing Mr. and Mrs. Claus. This book was sweet and a feel good read all around.

First things first, I highly suggest reading the first book of this series, as there are some things mentioned in the second book from the first book. Now that, is out of the way holy cow!!!! She did it again. This author never ceases to amaze me with her writing skills. Not only do we get another awesome badass female lead, she is also has human flaws which makes her relatable. This book follows Sophia in the following events of the first book. There is just so much of this book that I absolutely loved. The storytelling, the writing itself, the characters, everything was amazing and I couldn’t finish it fast enough! I can’t wait see what’s next by this amazing author!

This was a great 5 star read. We have Breckin and Griff in a small town both trying to move forward from hurtful pasts. Unfortunately Breckin’s past works at the same school as she does. Needing a girls night out she and her two friends go to Griffs bar.

Griff has no intentions of moving forward, his wife was his one true love. But…something about Breckin pulls him in. The more time that these two spend together the closer they become. Can they heal their broken hearts and find true love again?

Overall I really enjoyed this read, my emotions were all over the place. We get LOL moments, drama, crying and so much more. I LOVED all of the characters. Griff’s Grandma and Breckins friends had me LOL so many times. I would love to have a feisty grandma like Griffs. If you’re looking for a great 2nd chance romance that gives you a little bit of everything then this is the one for you. 1-click and get started today.

What’s not to like? There’s unpredictability, suspense, action, chemistry, and intrigue. This author has the magic touch in weaving an engaging story. When the heart and body are at odds-true love will always prevail. Enzo, the ever-present protector- torn between being with the love of his life and family honour. Feisty, talented, and resilient Sofia is conflicted between following her heart and being a loyal friend. Toss a tenacious, vile, obsessive antagonist in the mix, and you’ve got a masterpiece. The 2nd book in the series exceeded my expectations. I’m excited to see what this author writes next!

This book was just as amazing as the first one! Lauren’s continued growth and her attitude and sass just kept me, and all the other characters, on our toes. Seeing the development in the relationship between Lauren and Sam from the animosity in Silent Gavel to the flirtationship and friendship they build is so real. I adore the relationship between Lauren and Kate, familial relationships like that are amazing because everyone needs that person they can look up to. This author is phenomenal with the relationships she builds between her characters and I look forward to reading more about Crawford, and Lauren especially.

This book was amazing! The author does an amazing job of world-building! The characters are so relatable and watching the growth throughout the story, especially in the midst of the conflict was excellent! Lauren is so strong and intelligent and her wit and sass kept me engrossed in every little bit of the story. Her thoughts on coworkers and other characters in the story were so realistic, because everybody works with those people who don’t pull their weight. Watching her try and figure out what happened was amazing seeing how she worked it through in her head.
