I really enjoyed this story. It was feel-good and easy-to-read which was just what I was looking for. Sparks fly between Thea and Benjamin as soon as they meet. They have wonderful chemistry that flies off the pages at you. I love Christmas books and the Christmassy feeling runs throughout, it left me feeling ready for the festive season. This was a really quick read, but the author packed so much into it I didn’t feel as though I was missing out. If you are looking for something light and fun then I would recommend this book

I wasn’t sure if I was going to enjoy this book, but I gave it a chance. It turned out to be pretty good. I don’t see books about Dominatrices very often so it was interesting to see how that character interacted with Elgin. I don’t know if it’s because I haven’t really read this type of character before, or what exactly, but I couldn’t get the love vibe from it, even though the characters were falling in love with each other. The only time I really got a hint of romantic vibe was after Mary Beth gave Elgin the gift and he’s using it. I totally got the healing aspect from the BDSM scenes that happened in the book. Not sure Dominatrices are something I would choose to read regularly, but it’s not bad for an occasional book fling.

This book was amazing, it had me on the edge of my seat the whole time, I could not put it down. It is well written and full of interesting, well rounded characters. It involves love, passion, lies and deception. It has action-packed, mystery and dragons, who doesn’t like a book with dragons. Dahlia Nite is a century-old lyrriken (dragon/human hybrid) with powers of empathy related to grief and trauma. she is a kick-ass fighter and protector of the human world from the various creatures that go bump in the night, she is a very strong heroness is a butt-kicking assassin with attitude that I absolutely fell in love with. yet she has some insecurities and mistakes that make her very relatable and likable. There are so many fight scenes that are written so vividly that it felt like you were really there watching then. This book is amazing with great world-building, lifelike characters and epic battles you will not forget. I can’t wait to read what comes next

Caught in Midnight Shadows is the fourth book in The Caught Series by Sharleen Scott. This is a fast paced on the edge of your seat Romance Suspense that once you start reading there’s no stopping until you finish. I’ve read several books by this author but this may be my favorite yet. This author style of writing and attention to detail continues to amaze me. I love feeling like I’m right there with the characters. Her characters are well developed and fun and relatable. Hang on tight and be prepared for quite the ride. Brant is on a quest to fulfill his mother’s last words. He’s looking for a guy who worked on the ranch several years ago He hadn’t planned on meeting Aubrey. Aubrey had her own plans she was going to hop on her Harley and ride and not look back that is until she meets him. Oh these two I just love them. They are then faced with a stalker, murdere who is out to finish what was started . Find out what happens next in this absolute must read. I can’t wait to see what this author brings us next.

This book was captivating from start to finish. This time of the year, it is normal for me to read stories that remind me of Hallmark movies and have the same premise and similar storylines. This was a breath of fresh air. Meet Olivia – who had gone through something completely unexpected when she discovered that her boyfriend and her supermodel twin sister were an item. They got engaged, and Olivia wanted to be as far away from them as possible for the holidays – hence, the cruise. Time to step out of her comfort zone. After a few too many drinks, she ends up on Santa’s lap telling him that what she wants for Christmas is a fictional character from a book that she is writing. Little does she know that she is speaking to the real Santa – or that her fictional character isn’t so imaginary. Meet Jace, an ex-Navy Seal and the real-life man that Olivia believes she has dreamed up. He is heading to a wedding with his friends but gets a mission from Santa that he cannot pass up. He is charming, funny, kind, and perfect for her in every way. But can he convince her of that before Christmas day? I only picked this book up for 2 reasons. The first reason is that I really love reading this author’s writings. Her words just flow together and read so easily and smoothly. The second was pure curiosity. I find myself curious about other people’s beliefs often, and instead of just shaking my head and walking away because it isn’t what I believe, I find myself needing to know more so I can come up with some sort of understanding.
While I still don’t believe in magic, I found myself believing in many things in this book. I found that while reading if I just replaced the word magic with happiness and contentment, that is pretty much what was being talked about. It all made sense when I did that. There are so many things in this book I have struggled with throughout the years, and her steps to ridding yourself of that pressure and stress were spot on. So for this reason I can say I really enjoyed reading this book. The writing was exactly what I’m used to from this author and although it felt in places like things were being repeated too much, I worked my way through that without any issues.

Though this is book two of the series, this book can be read as a standalone. I was hooked from the start. There is a lot of emotion in this book and it’s very well written.
Harper and Lincoln have a lot going for them. The last thing either of them expects is Harper to get there pregnant after a weekend fling. There is a lot they both need to learn about the other. They each have their own demons to face but just maybe they can face them together. Can they fight together instead of against each other for the family they’ve each always wanted?
I really enjoyed this book! I’m going to give book one a chance as well because if it’s half as good as this book, it’s worth it!

I really enjoyed reading this book and it makes me want to decorate for Christmas and turn on the holiday music! The author was able to mix a holiday feel, Christmas magic, and a Caribbean cruise, and make it feel like one amazing vacation. This romantic comedy was filled with fun characters – Olivia who is on the cruise to avoid Christmas with her twin sister and Jace who is a Commander in the Navy and on the cruise for a wedding of his friends. Santa, Mrs Claus, Jace’s friends, and all the elderly friends are so much fun! I felt like I even got to know the waiters because Jace always calls them by name. The description of the cruise ship, the drinks that were consumed, and even the music playing were all so detailed. I smiled, I teared up, and I laughed a lot as I read. This was a wonderful and feel good read that I devoured in one day!

From best friends to the love of a lifetime, this book drew me right in from the very first page. Joe and Melody have been the best of friends from the time they were kids. They never lost touch as they became adults and always harbored a secret flame for the other. I found it heartbreaking finding out about Joes childhood and how he never felt like he was good enough for her. Now that he’s finally in a better place in life he’s ready to make a move and see if he can make it work with the love of his life. It’s so fascinating following the day to day life of a rock band on the road. This book has romance, heat, tragedy and plenty of excitement that made me not want to put the book down. The ending was beautiful and made me tear up in the best possible way. I cannot read to read more of this series.

The One Night Stand/Surprise Pregnancy trope is truly one of my favorites. You never know how things will turn out , and you always hope for the best. This story is one of those feel good stories where Lincoln and Harper came together for a reason, and it was truly meant to be.

Christmas Cookies on a Cruise Ship was a sweet holiday romance. One I could see being a future Lifetime or Hallmark movie. I’ll be honest when I first started reading I got really confused. I wasn’t sure what the author was doing. It felt like a book within a book! It all worked itself out in a short time, but still threw me for a loop at first. Olivia running as fast as she can away from family this holiday season, because her twin sister is now engaged to the man she once loved. Jace spending his time on a holiday cruise to watch and be part of the wedding of two dear friends. Little did they know what was up ahead for them. Not in your typical idyllic Christmas setting, this book makes for an intriguing romance with the drama expected for these works of fiction!

While I was hoping to get a different experience from this book, I did enjoy the journey this author takes the reader on. There are no actual spells or conjuring taught, which I was really hoping for, this book prepares the reader to get into the right headspace to be open to living a more magical lifestyle. I’d be open to reading more from this author, as she seems to be very knowledgeable in the subject.

This was a really good book! At the beginning I wasn’t too sure about this one, because it seemed like the story was going really fast and was just going to lose traction and be a fluff story but I really enjoyed this novella (it did feel more like a novel to me) once I got about 25% of the way in. I enjoyed the Christmas and the Sweet (get it? Haha) theme was present in this novel. The characters were relatable and it was easy to get lost in the story. This was steamy, romantic and overall a relatable story. I was originally going to give this book 4 stars but by the time I got to the end I had tears in my eyes and couldn’t stop smiling so it’s definitely getting 5 stars from me! Thank you author for writing such a great holiday story!
This book was well written and had a decent plot but I had a hard time getting into it! Not the books fault, just me. The author has an incredible imagination and made for a well thought out story. I enjoyed how descriptive the book was without being boring and the idea was intriguing. I would definitely try more books from the author. While this book wasn’t something I could lose myself in the boom is good and I recommend giving it a shot if you like fantasy romance novels.
An original book filled with very original and informative information. A self-help book that may help some. I found it to be helpful on some levels while still leaving me wanting to more. It was very easy to read.

My heart is still smiling after finishing this book, I loved this story. The story of Thea and Ben is a perfect holiday read. Thea is an owner of a bakeshop and all business. She does not have much luck when it comes to men, that is until a handsome gentleman, Ben, walks into her bakeshop and the story just takes off from there. Ben really had my heart in this book , he was just so full of love, promise and very attentive to Thea from the beginning. Thea being a business owner is really caring and loving and I loved that both Thea and Ben were all about family. From dates on getting to know each other to very hot sizzling moments, I could not get enough of this book.
This book makes your heart swell. Harper is your typical girl that has had the world be cruel to her and has put up walls. It is a journey of love, tears, and finding yourself. Lincoln is dealing with his own problems but in the end love conquers all.

This is a very dramatic read it is so detailed that it became a little hard to finish but I did and it was amazing. This book is an adventure from the very beginning. Always dependable when it starts in a coffee shop. Steamy is an understatement and there is violence. We have a female lead and she goes through the battle of life and love. Will she ever be safe or happy that’s the question. Im not giving it away but it is ACTION packed. Each chapter introduces a new point of view or situation and we go deeper into the web of lies secrets and violence. This book is five stars it was hard to read because of the content but if you can handle sex and violence you will love this beauty. This is my first time reading this author and they are good.
The title and blurb are what caught my eye with this book. I have been itching for a good surprise baby romance lately. As this was my first book by this author, I wasn’t expecting to be hooked by these characters and how involved I got in their story. Harper and Lincoln had that instant chemistry for a fun weekend with a stranger, but that weekend turned into some more 9 months later. I will definitely be going back to read book 1 in this series!

This is a fun, sweet story that puts you in the mood for romance and Christmas. Fun characters I’d like in real life, as well as some that are not as likable, but we can relate to having them in our lives! Not overdone on romantic scenes, which I think puts it firmly and fairly into that sweet/fun read category. The writing and editing I think could use a touch more of a heavy hand, but I really enjoyed the base story, under some strange addings on about Mrs. Clause. Overall it was a fun read and I’d read more by this author and in this Perfect Pairings series. I can see myself reading it again closer to the holiday when I need a quick break from all the busy, busy.

Wow! This is a pretty intense story! Definitely not for the under 18 reader. I came into it thinking it would be a spy thriller. It was so much more. Liz was a singer who should have stuck with that job. She met a man who offered her a job as a spy and it went downhill from there. Nothing was as it seems. I can’t really tell you a whole lot more or it will spoil it. The plot is so well-written. The action starts in the prologue and just hooks you in. You are then taken for a wild ride with Liz. The characters are all so profound and deceptive yet deep. The ones that truly care about Liz, you’ll find yourself feeling suspicious about. Lack of trust feels like a main theme here. But this book definitely gets your heart thumping. I’m going to definitely recommend it to those who like strong action. Liz survives some very hard things. I would give it 10 stars if I could.
This was the first book I have read from this author and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I mostly read romances and this was right up my alley! I love the holidays and truly believe that they are the perfect time to read romance!
Ben and Thea were very well crafted, the story was short and sweet. This author wastes no time getting to the point and neither does Ben. I loved the meeting in the bakery and the sweet scenes the author puts up. I will for sure be recommending this to my friends!
Although this is the fourth book in the series, this is the first book I have read from this author. I really enjoyed the plot and the twists and turns! I can honestly say that I was expecting none of this book!
The characters were very well written! I really enjoyed both Brant and Aubrey which is rare because most of the time the guys seem too perfect! This was well written, good plot, and just a joy to read! Props to the author!!! @karenmmarsh

This is book 2 in this series and I was not disappointed. I feel like I connected more with the characters in this book than I did w/ Max and Lil in the first. I liked the overall plot and character and story development. I’m still flabbergasted that not a single police interaction has been touched upon in all the gun play and dead bodies in the past 2 books but, hey, I’m no gangster. Maybe that’s how it works.
One thing I will say is that I almost wish the author had told Elena’s story first. Her story entwines into this one and I felt like I was missing a large piece of the story. I’m sure it’s a way to bridge into that whole situation (possibly next?) but I almost wish it had been ordered the opposite way.
All- in- all I think I’d still give this book 5/5 stars. It was well written and a nice simple and fairly quick read. It didn’t lull or get boring at any point and the characters were relatable and well written. Looking forward to reading book 3.

Red is an amazing character and to really get into who he is and his life adventures from the beginning really draws you into the book. So much happens and it keeps you wanting to read more. I will definitely need to read the first three to this series as I feel I am missing quite a back story but it was a fantastic book. The author did a great job at introducing the characters and using such rich description to set up the scene in the mind of the readers! Originally I chose to read this book because the synopsis caught my eye – I have family in Wyoming so I take in any story with characters from there or ranchers! – but then the mystery and thriller aspect of the book took over and made me so curious for what was going to happen next and how it was going to play out. I honestly can’t explain too much without it spoiling the story for those excited to read it but what I will say is 10/10 it hooked me and I will be finding the first three immediately to fill in the mental gaps I have. The author did a good job at trying to connect all dots in this book but I definitely encourage readers to start from book 1 for the full experience.

Unlikely to Fit, the 2nd book in the Parker Lake series is a quick romance filled with wonderful characters. Breckin has returned home to Parker, Oklahoma where her husband leaves her for the just graduated, former head cheerleader of the high school. Griff is a man who lost his love in a tragic accident. He returns home to the simplicity of Parker and his family, to include his grandmother who is quite the character. These two former acquaintances from high school days reunite and attraction rides high. These two must decide if they are willing to risk more heartache at another chance for love and a happier future. The author wrote all characters so well, including the supporting ones who I hope we get more on in future installments of this series. Breckin and Griff are both just kind, giving and wonderful people that you root for their happiness. Griff’s grandmother is just a one-of-a-kind lady who you cannot help but to adore, quirks and all! Not only do I want more details and books on Breckin’s best friends, but I also would love a book in this series for her dad. I really enjoyed the glimpse of his character throughout this story. I will definitely be on the lookout for the next in this series.

When a complete stranger steps into Thea’s bakery she is thrown into a whirlwind romance. Ben is a smooth talking charmer and it makes you wonder if it’s too good to be true. Thea and Ben spend the time around the holidays getting closer and finding that the things that they are looking for could be right in front of them.
I really enjoyed this book. It was a sweet love story (see what I did there), but it also was a refreshing spicy book as well. The characters were relatable and liked and it left me wanting more. I did have questions while reading like wanting to know more about her brother and where that will go. Also, wanting more to the story of her friend Jules and what came of her? Why had she started acting out of character. While I could make my own conclusions, I’m curious to see if there will be more to this or another novella coming! I am left with a little hole of unanswered questions.
Even with the unanswered questions I still highly recommend this book for anyone who would like a moderately steamy Christmas love story. This is a perfect book for you! I kept flipping the pages craving more and think anyone else would be too!
