This is my first book from the author. I loved Joe and Mel’s story! This was a great beginning to a new Rock Star series. The characters are well developed and the story grabs you and pulls you in. I look forward to reading more of the authors work. The romance, entertainment, emotions is phenomenal. I can’t even put everything into words. Its just that amazing.

I couldn’t put this book down; literally read it in one day between pesky tasks like work and preparing food for sustenance.
The book builds a wonderfully magical world of elves and other mystical creatures. Starting out with the murder of the elven king and queen of the Twilight Realm, the book follows the young Prince Phoenix into hiding with his father’s advisor.
With both changing their names for safety, Nix and Nate live quietly until the time is right for the prince to take back his rightful throne. In that time, Nix continues his education and learns to blend with locals.
Meanwhile, a young girl, Zoe, is trapped in a fortress as the daughter and captor of her parents, the regents who are responsible for the royal deaths. As her mother’s personal lab rat, Zoe endures torture by receiving tattoos infused with dark magic. Possessing the magic to give life, Zoe discovers she can control the tattoos and use them to her advantage, but the latest one is darker than all the others and she becomes desperate to escape.

It’s when they’re planning that they realize just who the other is and where they come from. Will this effect how they work together? Can they trust each other?
Twilight’s Curse is absolutely magical. I struggled a little getting into it, but I think that mainly is because I don’t typically fall into this style of fantasy when reading. It turned into a fun, entertaining read that made me laugh out loud in several places while also keeping me in suspense during others.
Nix is a young elf trying so hard to find out how to be the best king for his people but also keep himself alive while he finds his sister. Zoe is determined to right so many of her parents wrongs and save the children from the pain she was handed. Their chemistry and frustration towards one another is palpable and fun to read.
I look forward to seeing what K. M. Wray has in store for these two and all of the Twilight Realm.

I am a PR fan, but I loved this book! The up and coming Hollywood heart throb, Lincoln, falls hard and fast for the fiery, independent redhead, Harper. This is my first book to read from the author, it’s also the 2nd book in the Parker Lake series. It can also be read as a standalone. The way the author expresses the characters is phenomenal. You can feel all of the heartbreak, chemistry, all the emotions that the characters are expressing. I highly recommend this book and i will be looking forward to more of her reads.

The author does a great job giving the reader an erotic glimpse into the complex and intriguing relationship between a Domme and sub. The relationship between MaryBeth and Elgin shows a level of trust that most relationships never reach. The author’s description of the past that lead to the present is clear enough to grip the reader and give a true sense of healing necessary for Elgin. If you’re interested in an erotic and descriptive look into a trusting D/s relationship, definitely check this one out.

This has got to be one of the sweetest books i’ve ever read. Reese and CC were an amazing set of characters with a completely magical romance. The setting was beautiful and oh so Christmassy. If you are a big fan of Hallmarks Countdown to Christmas this book is right up your alley. This book was so beautiful to read.

Twilight Curse is a great start to the Twilight Realm Series. There is alot of great descriptive work in this book. One of the first things that attracted me to this book is the blur and the cover as its extremely attractive. Zoe magic is very unique and I like the way it is explain an how she uses it. I hate her parents they are genuinely horrible people who would do that. Having all the magical mystical fantasy character made me feel so alive. The world bulding in this book is fantastic. I am looking forward to the next books in the trilogy.

“Shadows of Doubt” by Merissa Racine is very intriguing mystery novel. Lauren is a court stenographer who freelances. Due to financial stress, she temporarily begins working with her ex-husband, the judge, while his regular stenographer is on maternity leave. As trial begins for a very high profile case, Lauren begins to doubt that the accused is guilty and begins to search for answers. This is the second book in the series, but can be read as a stand-alone novel. I enjoyed the character development and the mystery, and look forward to reading the other books in this series!

I do not know how to start this review, the truth is that I have always loved fantasy books but honestly I had never ventured to read a book with magical creatures and only magical creatures. but the truth is that it has made me open up one more space in my mind and I decided to give it a 100% chance The story is quite good and the truth is that not everything is happiness and super epic adventures but there is also a dark and quite dense side but I think that makes it an even more special book. The author did a pretty impressive job in creating the world and best of all, he has been able to create it so realistically and has invited us to live in it.

This is the second book in the series. We meet or get to know more of Derek and Julia. They have a strained relationship. Each fears the other won’t accept them as they are..scars and all. This is filled with ups and downs as they work through their fears and outwardly battle strangers who seem like more. Julia is a wonderful strong female and I loved getting her perspective on things as much as Dereks.
Its been a while since I read book one. Honestly I did not remember much of the story or characters. Once I got into this one and realized it offers snippets of the first I started remembering. I enjoyed how this book offers looks into the brothers possible futures. And seriously if that epilogue is ANYTHING to go by…I cant wait for Hayden and Anna. It should be full of action!

The chemistry that the two main characters in this book had was off the chart. From their very first meeting, you could tell the author tried to show this throughout the book. “Christmas Cookies on a Cruise Ship” written by Parker Fairchild, is a very sweet and clean holiday romance story. Olivia decides to embark on a cruise in order to escape the Christmas holiday with her sister, who had an affair with Olivia’s boyfriend and is now engaged to him. Olivia feels sad and lonely on the ship, and after too many drinks tells the cruise employee dressed up as Santa Claus her deepest wish. This is where things took a very interesting turn. That night she meets and falls in love with a man, who has the same name as the character in a romance novel she is writing. He is a Navy SEAL, and the majority of conversations steer back to his career. I appreciated that the story brought attention to the difficulties our service members can experience coming back home. Overall the story was difficult to follow and was very unlikely, but it does put you in a festive mood! I enjoyed following along as Olivia’s personality completely changes from sad and insecure, to happy and confident. I appreciated the side characters, especially the elderly veterans, who added some sass and humor to the story!

I enjoy reading books about shifters. Although they are mostly about werewolves, so I found this book The Mating Call a refreshing change as it is about mountain lion shifters. It was a joy to journey along with Cheyenne and Lane as they discovered each other and fell in love. The author has created a nice world and I look forward to reading the next book.

As the first book in a bre series by an author I always I always enjoy I knew I had to read this. Especially as it is the first book I have read about mountain lion shifters, which I found to be a nice change from the norm. I was pulled straight into this story and the characters. I wanted to find out more about them as they both had such histories. I thought thr story itself was well written. I engaged with the story and thought it was a well developed book. Talise is being sent away and she isn’t sure how she will deal with it. She is supposed to be the big deal, but then comes along another person. This guy will be the downfall of Talise or so she thinks. The quote I chose for Talise is: “How will you survive? Academy training lasts ten years.”
Aaden goes to the academy thinking he’s the best of the best. When he gets there he finds that he’s got to beat another person for the highest spot. The quote I chose for Aaden is: “Let’s go. I’m sure the emperor wants you back in your living quarters.”

This was a short and romantic story that I am so glad I picked up this season! The author created characters that were easy to like and their romance was something that we rooted for from the second Benjamin walked into Thea’s pastry shop. Benjamin is the type of man that you dream about – attentive, caring, sweet (no pun intended), and an all-around GOOD guy. Thea’s ex – not so much! She had been through a major heartbreak and was not looking for love, but it definitely found her. I love the love story. The side characters were just as important to make the story seem more realistic and give it that wholesome holiday feel. I read it all super quickly in one sitting and my heart felt lighter by the end. If you’re looking for a short (but super sweet) Christmas story, please don’t pass this one up!
Twilight’s Curse is about a young elf, named Nix, who was in line for the throne of the Twilight Realm. When Nix was young, his parents the King and Queen were murdered before his eyes by the Dions. The Royal Advisor, Nate, took Nix into hiding until it was his time to come back and take up the throne.
The other main character is another young elf by the name of Zoe. She is unique with life giving magic. Her parents, the Dions, experimented on her by giving Zoe magical tattoos. Zoe is able to bring her tattoos to life and use them to her advantage. One night she couldn’t handle it anymore and ran away from home. Zoe ran until she comes to a tree inhabited by Nate who then takes her in.
The Book is mostly set years after the initial falling of the Royals, Nix is older now and has no intention of going back to his childhood home. When Nix has a dream that forsaw him meeting Zoe, everything changes. The next day he sees Zoe. They have a common enemy but can they put their differences aside to come together to take down the Dions? Elves, magic, dragons… what’s not to love! I recommend this book highly!

I have read many of Manda Mellett’s books, and this one does not disappoint. Her depth in her characters and interesting plot always has me returning. She has quickly become one of my favorite authors. At the beginning, Red was at a crossroads. The book opened with his father’s death, and him putting in a two-week notice. We’ve all been there – time for a change, and it’s quite the change too. He headed across the country and landed with the Satan’s Devils. Red has a complexity that makes him interesting. His life felt like he had just been surviving. So glad Red has his own book, two in fact. Another great book from Manda Mellett! Looking forward to the second book!

Fate, Frankincense & Funerals by Naomi Valkyrie was, simply put, amazing. I don’t know how Ms. Valkyrie was able to get so much character development in only 57 pages. Story follows Acheron as he is called to take the storey of dying Carissa where he meats Errapel. Instantly you can feel the energy between Acheron and Errapel and their draw to each other. I felt each emotion, fear, happiness, and love. I hope to see more!
This was a lovely romance story about two people who get a second chance at love. The characters are really well written and the author really brings the characters to life. You really feel the pain these characters go through and you also feel their strength and love as they learn to let their guards down and learn to love again. This is also the second book in the Parker Lane Series.

This book brought me back to my teen years, when me and my sister used to download manga to read, I used to love a tittle or a picture and then when I was to read, I would discover it was boys love, and some really graphic hahah she would be trilled and me not so much. Don’t get me wrong I do love the sweet love and tenderness I just don’t like much when it gets graphic. Making a long story short, I chose this book because I loved the cover art, and when I started reading, I discovered that this was a boy’s love story, ok that’s alright, but I must say it’s the first lgbt book that I read, that actually have a good story and a good main character.
If you don’t like graphic descriptions of sexual acts, be a little careful, we do have a sexual act a bit graphic but not over the top.
If I have something to complain about this story is that the names are overly complicated but that it’s not really a complain, just old me rambling about. Our main character is named Acheron and he is a vulture, his kind are responsible for taking care of the people that are near death learn their story and then delivering their last wish and their bodies and soul to set them free, it’s really a big responsibility, and his mate to be is called Errapel, belongs with a group of people that bend a little bit the rules. Acheron must go to Mandara, a city that despise his kind, to take care of a last wish of a dying woman, and her story will bring Acheron closer to himself, doesn’t this make you curious to know more? This is more on the short side, but well worth of our time, it has an interesting mystique and mythology,
I will definitely try to read more of Naomi Valkyrie works, and bonus if she writes more with these characters <3.
Born To Fall is the 2nd book in the Can’t Resist You series by Brittany Anne. It is a great dystopian romance novel that I enjoyed very much. I had previously read, and enjoyed, the first book Born To Fight and was looking forward to the nest instalment in the story. This book can be read as a stand-alone but I think you’d enjoy it much better if you had read Born To Fight before reading Born To Fall. Something I rarely comment on when reviewing books is the cover, but I have to say that I’m a sucker for any book that has the gorgeous model Kamil Nizinski on the cover. In this book we get the story of Derek, one of the resistance leaders and Julia, who he had previously rescued from the UNR. With Derek being so high up in the hierarchy the last thing he needs is the distraction of a woman but he just can’t get Julia out of his head. I really enjoyed reading Derek and Julia’s story. Julia has suffered badly in the past and trusts no one. However, her rescuer Derek is gradually getting under her skin and she’s not sure how to deal with her feelings. This all makes for an angsty read, something I really enjoy. The author does a great job of grabbing your attention from the very beginning and with the story being action packed and fast flowing, you really are carried along on Derek and Julia’s journey. I’m looking forward to reading more from this series.

This was an enjoyable and engaging paranormal romance featuring mountain lion shifters. The lion shifters each have a fated mate who is the other half of their souls and they find each other when they least expect it. For Cheyenne and Lane it happens when Cheyenne feels the mating call which draws her home to Long Claw. Meanwhile, Lane also feels the call and heads to Long Claw determined to prove himself to his mate. However, Lane finds that Cheyenne has reservations due to her past that may affect their future together. I loved the characters in this story, and felt immersed within the ‘Long Claw Pride’. The small mountain town setting was really brought to life by the descriptive narrative and the storyline flowed well. The chemistry between Cheyenne and Lane came across and I was cheering them on hoping they would get their HEA. I look forward to future books in this new series by Brooke May.

This is a short and thought provoking read with a m/m romance that is very well written. I can see this as a small beginning to a pretty epic story. I would definitely be interested in seeing where Acheron and Errapel go in this story that touches on love and racism. Those pages sure did flip way too fast for my liking.
I really enjoyed this story, it indeed was a sweet Christmas love story. It had its tender and sweet moments as well as moments where you can laugh and most certainly relate to! I found it was a quick read and everything came together very well by the end, needless to say it was a treat to read!
For me what intrigued me the most was the setting. I do not normally get the enjoyment of reading a Christmas story on a Cruise Ship! So up front that was a delight of a visual to have! Rather than a snowy town it was a different setting, and I really loved that straight off the bat! Also character wise Oliva was wonderful. Kind and down to earth, and she was very relatable for sure. I loved how her story went about, especially when you throw in Jace. They were great characters. I found Olivia wonderful as well as humorous in a good way, and made the story very heart warming with much fun as the pages turned!
The author knew for sure how to weave or should I say bake up a good story for us readers to enjoy and smile with the memories when we completed the book! I loved the story plot. As I have said, it was different, and there was some unexpected plot twists for me that I did not see coming. Jace and Olivia were adorable, and sweet in every which way. I loved how the development between them and the story went about. I really enjoyed this one, I think this is one I will defiantly be reading again in the future!
As I hope I have made clear, this is a high recommendation from me! This is actually a first time read from this author for me, but most certainly will be reading more of their work. I was very intrigued and impressed with this one and the writing. So happy I got the pleasure to read it, its a true delight!

This is a full length novel that will keep you on the edge of your seat. Cheyenne has graduated high school. She was ready to see the world, find her own path. Brooke May has leveled up to my Paranormal Romance writers. Her story added a new Shifter to my list. The Lion Pride!!! The story starts out strong and you instantly become drawn in. This is a rollercoaster of emotions and the characters are just right for each other. As they work their way through The Mating Call. You will not be disappointed with this series. Victoria Zak understands real life love stories and how they fluctuate. Even though my name is Dani, I really related to Mel, the lead female character, in the book. It resonated with me so much just how your past and the experiences that you have lived can affect your outlook on relationships and life. Victoria Zak kept the tension between the characters balanced and steamy throughout the entire book. I absolutely enjoyed this book as my first romance novel read in more than 5 years.

The Mating Call by Brooke May is a paranormal romance of mountain lion shifters.
Cheyenne Mackenzie was out to make her own destiny and not let the mating call rule her life. The mating call can come at any point in a mountain lion shifter’s life and when it does happen it is like two magnets pulling towards each other. Cheyenne decides when she hits 18 she is moving away and she ends up in San Francisco working at a radio station. After 10 years of not taking a vacation, Cheyenne is forced to take a vacation and it couldn’t be better timing because she was hit with her mating call.
Lane, who was forced to leave home at 15 becomes a drifter working as a ranch hand who is used to being alone with just his horse. He feels the pull to head west and without knowing where he was going to end up he just keeps driving. Ending up in Long Claw, Lane gets hit with his making call.
I love the relationship that is forming between Cheyenne and Lane. It is perfectly imperfect. This is a series I definitely look forward to seeing more books added to. Brooke May did a fantastic job of pulling the reader in and keeping them hooked. I can’t wait to read more from May.
