Yeah, that is how the main character in this book (Lauren) feels like. She is sick of the drama that has become her life. She is trying to change her life. She moved back to her hometown, she got a new courtroom job, and she has left her love life (or lack of one) behind. But her life comes to a crashing halt when she goes to pick up her boss and finds her dead! Now she’s the number one suspect in the murder and her ship is sinking even faster! So much for her new life right? Lauren starts to investigate herself to prove herself innocent. So, will Lauren go to prison for the murder? Will she be able to find the Judge’s killer before anyone else gets hurt? Or will she end up another victim of the real killer? Silent Gravel is the first murder mystery book in this series and I can’t wait to read the next one!! If you love fast paces murder mystery action books this one is for you!!
