This was a charming, cozy mystery that had a feel good vibe. A clean whodunnit that is suitable for teens and up. With relatable characters and a good flow to the writing, it was a quick read for me. I loved the quaint little town that the author creates and the mystery is intriguing. This is a strong start to the series and I am excited to check out book 2.

Montgomery – Review by Rayne East
Queen of my Heart by Nikki Lynn Barrett is book one of the Life Won’t Wait series.
Quinn is tired of acting. She wants to reinvent herself as a country singer. Quinn didn’t anticipate the demands that would come with this career change. Those demands come in on top of family demands and things have gotten complicated for Quinn. Tucker is struggling a bit after a whirlwind beginning to his career. Once he hears Quinn audition with his song, the most personal one to him, he’s hooked. His offer to help Quinn with her career ends up turning into so much more. Will Quinn and Tucker trust each other as things move forward for them or will the past always get in the way?
I really enjoyed reading this book. I enjoyed that it was set in the country music world as I haven’t read too many books like that. Quinn and Tucker were fun to read and to follow their development. I can’t wait to read more!

Betrayal At The Beach: A Cozy Christian Mystery is the first book in the Dangerous Curves series by K.L. Montgomery.
The main character is called Sunshine, and she definitely lives up to her name. She is in her forties, quirky, and very relatable. To be honest, I thought the whole cast of characters was amazing and helped to make this book so enjoyable. Despite having no professional skills to do so, librarian Sunshine rallies the troops when she discovers that the library’s funds have been stolen along with a Bible that has a historical worth as well as a spiritual one. The story is filled with twists and turns as Sunshine and her friends get closer to solving this mystery. I found this story very enjoyable and the author’s storytelling skills had me turning the pages late into the night.

Date Night by K. M. Lowe is a great story, especially if, like me, you love a romantic story.
Getting dumped on Valentine’s day is brutal, no wonder Hannah is a tad cynical and not exactly looking forward to it coming around again. In fact, she’s pretty much given up on the whole love thing altogether. Kyle is cynical about love too, he’s had bad experiences and is avoiding relationships. But when the two finally meet after working together remotely, sparks fly and the chemistry is hard to deny for both of them.
Date night is a sweet romance, I found it easy to read and the pages just kept on turning so it was over far too soon. I really enjoyed the author’s style of writing and will lookout for more books from them in the future.

I NEED BOOK TWO!!! This was a great mystery romance. I really enjoyed it and the characters. Grant and Jordan are great, and I loved following their relationship. Their dynamic was so great and real. The mystery situation was really intriguing, and the suspense was killing me on every single page. I highly recommend and cannot wait to read the next installment!
5 Stars Seductive Prey (Relentless #1) by Vivian Fiano
Seductive Prey is the first book in the Relentless Trilogy by Vivian Fiano. Wow what a wonderfully written Romantic Suspense that had me turning the pages till the end. I had to know what was going to happen next. Man oh Man the twists and turns had me on the edge of my seat. I’ve read other books by this author but this one is definitely my favorite yet. This is a story about Jordan and Grant, he’s a police officer by day and is also in the National Guard. His childhood wasn’t the greatest and his mission is to rid the streets of the bad guys. Jordan went into the National Guard as a way to pay for schooling her dream is to own her own dance studio some day. These two have extreme chemistry between them. When a Jordan and another employee walk into work and find a guy trying to rob them jordan goes into action and defends herself but he gets away just as the cops are showing up . Find out what happens next when they realize they’re both being watched. Can Grant save Jordan before its late? I highly recommend reading this book and I cant wait to get my hands on the next book in this Trilogy
This is the first book I have read from this author and she blew my mind. I love a good romantic thriller but she exceeded all my expectations. This is the first book in the Relentless Trilogy. I was glued to my seat when I started to read this book. I could not put this book down until I was done. These characters drew me into their story right in the beginning. It only took me a few hours to devour this incredible book. I can’t wait to read what she writes next.
Jordan Smith goes into the Army as a National Guard to get some of her education paid for. She wants to own her own dance studio one day. Jordan meets a hot soldier she can’t seem to stop thinking about. She goes through her training and now she is home. One day Jordan goes to work and she sees some guys trying to take things from the studio. Jordan makes them leave but she still calls the cops and she is in complete shock when her hot soldier is the cop that comes to help her. Jordan and Grant start to date but then the threats start to come. She is getting stalked but who could it be? Will Jordan and Grant find out who is doing this or will it be too late?
Seductive Prey by Vivian Fiano was an incredible read! I was enthralled with this novel from the very beginning. This was a steamy, interesting, suspenseful thriller of a novel. This book ends on a cliffhanger, as warned in the Synopsis, and I can’t wait to read the next installment! This book had me hanging on until the very last word and had me up reading later than I should. This is first I’ve read from this author before and I definitely can’t wait to read more in the future!
Love by Design is the second book in the series…and I was definitely looking forward to it after reading the first book.
Mia (who is the sister of Kally, the main character of Love is What You Bake of It) has just landed her dream job for the magazine Opul. Opul is owned by the very handsome Nicholas and his sister Penelope. While Mia and Nicholas have immediate chemistry, they also have an immediate (and unexplainable at the time) animosity towards each other. They seem to push each other’s buttons whenever they are in the same room. When they are sent to Greece on assignment for the magazine, sparks fly…and not always the good ones!
I enjoyed both Mia and Nicholas’ characters. Mia is the type of girl to wear her heart on her sleeve while Nicholas is the type to protect his heart at all costs. They are both keeping secrets that define the way they are acting and watching the characters accept and overcome their own obstacles made for a wonderful story. There are moments that made me tear up, moments that made me want to knock some sense into them, and some moments that made me swoon.
Once again, Effie Kammenou has written a book that is easy to read and the book seems like such a quick read because you don’t want to put it down. The Andarakis family, like in the previous book, plays a big part in the story. I just love all of them. The mystery surrounding their family just continues to weave it’s way through the story which intrigues me. I am definitely looking forward to the next book!

Seductive Prey: The Relentless Trilogy By Vivian Fiano
This was a great read. I was pulled in from the beginning and I couldn’t put it down until I got to the end. The author did an excellent job at keeping me on the edge of my seat with the suspense. I became completely invested in Grant and Jordan, wanting everything to work out for them and hoping they can catch Jordan’s stalker. The chemistry between these two was apparent right from the start. This book has wonderful characters, romance, suspense, danger and so much more. This book leaves you on a cliffhanger which means I need to read the next book now! I highly recommend this book and I can’t wait to read the next one.
Seductive Prey by Vivian Fiano is the first in The Relentless Trilogy. With the story ending on a cliffhanger, it’s hard to get out of your mind when you finish it. Jordan and Grant meet during time with the National Guard, but because of their ranks, they are not allowed to have a relationship.
As they return to normal lives, their paths cross once again. When Jordan has an issue at the dance studio, Officer Grant is the one to respond. After deciding to pursue their love, threats start coming in. Who is behind the threats? Can they be together with the pressures of their careers and ranks?
Ready for Flynn: Part 1 by K L Sandwick is a wonderful love story that will take you on an emotional roller coaster ride. Valerie is a 15 year old girl who is strong who refused to “do it” with her boyfriend when he pressured her. When this happened, the boyfriend ended up finding someone else to take her place which happened to be Valerie’s best friend. To help Valerie through this rough time, her family sends her to her aunt’s. While emotionally recuperating, Valerie helped her aunt deal with her home after her uncle’s death.
Valerie’s three older brothers are very protective of her when it comes to guys. When Valerie comes home right before Thanksgiving, she is excited to see her brothers. The brother she feels closest to is Martin. Martin brings his roommate Flynn home with him so Flynn doesn’t spend Thanksgiving alone. Valerie and Flynn have an instant connection but there is no way they can get together because of her young age and her protective family. This doesn’t stop them from learning more about each other and their feelings get stronger between them but Flynn ends up stepping away from her and the family. When tragedy strikes and Rocks Valerie’s world, Flynn comes back to help her and be there for her.
This is a well written story with a lot of growth by the main characters. It grabs your heart and you will want to keep reading. I’m so glad this is just part 1 since I want to learn more of what happens.
The narrator, Anne Marie Damman does a wonderful job. Her narration helped me to really feel what the characters were going through.

Queen Of My Heart (Life Won’t Wait Book 1) by Nikki Lynn Barrett
This is not the first book I’ve read by Barrett. Queen of my Heart is an amazing read. This page turner is amazing. It combines my favorite things. Country music, books, fairy tales, and Nashville.
Quinn moved to Nashville after the last time her character was killed off. She moves in hopes of getting a music deal. She wants to provide a better life for her niece. The quote I chose for Quinn is: “For once, I wish I could live a fairy tale life. You’re saving me so I can help my family, and now that I’m here around yours, I wonder how I can walk away after this is said and done without a broken heart. I’ve never had this kind of family togetherness time. Never. And I’ve never wanted anyone to sweep me off my feet before. I still don’t, but you’re slowly changing my mind.”
Tucker is the next country music star. He has had a horrible past. When he meets Quinn it’s after she sings one of his songs. He helps her out when things get tough and falls in love. The quote I chose for Tucker is: “Seems I have a big star in my presence. I’d be honored if you’d let me be your tour guide through Music City. The tour includes some ins and outs of the music scene, lunch with a country star whom you might have heard of- Tucker McGinnis? I might be able to get him to meet you. Oh, and there might be some flirting involved. But in the end run, I’m hoping for a great day and a yes from you. Maybe a little one on one on a six string.”
Highly recommended for Contemporary Romance lovers.
Wow! If you love romance and suspense wrapped up in a book, this one is for you. I thought this book was fan-freaking-tastic! Trying to find who the “who done it” in the suspense part, I still cannot put my finger on it. The romance between Grant and Jordan…… sweet, hot and sexy at the same time. I cannot wait until the next book comes on to continue the story. The ending!!! ahh!!!!! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
This isn’t the first book I’ve read by Fiano. She is a talented author and I love reading her books. I can’t wait for the next book!
Jordan is and always will be a dancer. When she wants to do more she signs up for the Army. There she finds the man of her dreams. Only things start going bad. The quote I chose for Jordan is: “I spent the most amazing evening with the best boyfriend on this planet.”
Grant is Staff Sergeant and gets on some guys butts when seen disrespecting a newbie. Little did he know that he would meet the love of his life. He wants to protect her when she’s being stalked. The quote I chose for Grant is: “It’s not too bad, usually. We go to the range to test-fire our weapons. I usually fire as an expert in both the 9MM and the M4. I prefer my handgun, but we fire both. I contemplated going to sniper school for a while but decided against it even though it would’ve given me a leg up on the force.”
Highly recommended for Military Romantic Suspense lovers.
Oh wow great story. The love between Tucker and Quinn is undeniable. The flirting and sass between Tucker and Quinn I loved. The stories of their past….wow….very real and just gut wrenching. Quinn is a very strong, independent woman and I love that about her in this book. Tucker just made my heart ache at times with his past. I recommend this read and it is a fantastic book! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

I LOVED this box set of books!!! What can I say, definitely worth the read and HOT HOT HOT!!! I loved how there were 5 different Alpha type guys with each story and they were each so different. I cannot pick a favorite as I loved all 5 main alpha male characters since each were so unique in their own way. I definitely laughed, smiled and swooned over each story. Highly Recommended.

Very Good Read. I really liked the stories behind Hudson, Mason, and Willow and their different struggles and how different each character is growing up and coming around the corner of adulthood. I really liked how the story also unfolds with Bruce’s character as well especially the connection with Hudson, Mason, and Willow. There is definite deep issues within the story along with mental health triggers that really pull at you. This story is very well written and I recommend this book. 🌟🌟🌟🌟

Very very very good read! May I say……… Oh Lucca!!!! These books are so full of pure raw emotion. Lucca makes my heart swoon! The love between Lucca and Lexi cannot be denied. The emotional roller coaster ride that Lexi went through, especially as a child growing up, just tore at me. Her strong, sheer determination to get through is just wow! I am very excited to see what happens next. If you are looking for love, lust, twists and a strong story, this series is for you!
This is the first book in the series. This audio book is just over two hours long. This story follows Connor as he travels back home to lay his mother to rest. Connor has barely been back to his hometown in over 20 years and he is not looking forward to it. He has so many feelings of regret that he has carried with him throughout his life since he left. Now he is all alone except for his cat, Tom. This was such a heartfelt story of a lonely man facing his past and wondering what his future holds.

I give THE HUSBAND (21st Century Courtesan Book 4) by P.S. Dumond, 4 stars.
This is a continuation to a captivating original story. Evie has really grown through this series and in this book, she really has to deal with a lot of pain and suffering. She manages this in her own way, while struggling to make sense of things. She is a fixer though and she tries to move on. But can she? This is a very emotional book, but there is more going on. Another client and another love (or two) throw more wrenches into this story.
I do recommend reading the previous books first, but they are all so good, you will be glad you did. If you like hot romance with some suspense thrown in, this book is for you.

I’m one for young adult books and I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book. The different perspective on each character gives you an insight on just what’s going on in a 13 year old’s mind. It reminded me very much when I was younger and wishing I had awesome friends like Vlad, Damien, Lily and the other misfits in the group. I had a good chuckle about the situations these kids got themselves in. I highly recommend if you need a good chuckle or want to remember being a preteen again.

Vivian has outdone herself with this book! Jordan and Grant are one of my two favorite characters of all time. I love how she paints Jordan as an independent woman but doesn’t overdo it. Grant is an amazing man and I wish there was more if him in real life! The scenes are hot and steamy but not too overwhelming. They aren’t the sole reason of the book. They are just enough to keep you hooked and the story itself is very well written and thought out and that cliffhanger is a sinker! I can’t wait for book 2 to come out and read it!
This is an exquisite piece of writing. The story grabs you from the opening line and takes you to another place in time. The author is on point with the world building and characterisation. The plot line had me turning the pages and I really enjoyed the mystery. Historical fiction is not a usual genre for me and I thoroughly enjoyed this book. I really enjoyed N.L. Holmes’ writing style and I will be definitely checking out more of her work.

Queen of my Heart is the first installment in author Nikki Lynn Barrett’s Life Won’t Wait series. It is a Contemporary Romance, and I found it to be delightful. This is the first book I’ve picked up by this author, but I know it will by no means be the last. The author has a wonderful way of threading together the character’s lives along with meaningful, real-life situations that make this book a page-turner. I was engrossed from the very beginning with Quinn Winters and Tucker McGinnis. Quinn is an actress who is making the career shift to the country music stage. Tucker is already the King of Country who has lost his zest for the music. When the two get together, will they become the next King and Queen of Country? Will they make sweet music together? I had to find out for myself, and those pages kept turning. I love a good story that has a lot going on to keep me interested, and this definitely is one of those stories. I am looking forward to book 2! 5 out of 5 stars!

Queen of My Heart by Nikki Lynn Barrett is the first book in the Life Won’t Wait series. This is a sweet contemporary romance featuring the characters Quinn Winters and Tucker McGinnis. Set in Nashville, the story focuses on Quinn, a former actress, wanting to start over as a country singer. Tucker, a reality singing show winner, needs a muse. The two meet and Tucker offers to help her through all the obstacles in the singing world. I enjoyed these characters and enjoyed the emerging romance as they worked together. Also, there are some obstacles they have to overcome. Music City is a great setting and gives a different flavor to New York or L.A. and lends itself as a background character. I enjoyed the characters and appreciated Quinn starting her career over to follow her dreams. I enjoyed this book and look forward to reading more in this series.

While I love reading this authors novels, this one was hard for me to get into. I liked that it had suspense but the story line just wasn’t me. This novel takes fantasy to a new level. This book combines a world of sexual fetishes, pornography, terrorism, royalty, secret agents, human animals, and romance. I love Seelie Kay novels but this one may yet grow on me if I read it a second time.

Alicia Gray knows she’s a lucky woman. However, she’ll soon discover that an enviable marriage comes at a deadly cost. Alicia struggles under the weight of dark secrets from her own past, someone knows more than they’re saying. This novel was a wonderful read. I couldn’t put it down.
This is the first book in the series and it ends with a cliffhanger. Not for anyone under the age of 18. When office Grant meets Jordan, they form a relationship. But wait, like all great suspense romance novels, there’s a catch. Enter bad guy. When said bad guy decides to make Jordan his prey, Grant comes to the rescue. This novel had me sitting at the edge of seat. I cannot wait till book 2 comes out.
