This is a full length novel. In this book you will find a little bit of music mixed with a whole lot of romance. I recommend you read the series in order. That way you will be caught up and take off with At All.

Maelie Barre is trying to make a name for herself. Music is her passion, but she must do this on her own. It is hard having a father who is famous in the music field. Nonetheless, she is determined to go places on her own. Teaching is also a passion her father will never understand. In walks the most handsome man she has ever seen. Music Maelie? Sebastian is a jazz player who has gotten himself into trouble with his band. Forced to take a break and get his life under control. He steps into the music studio as a Jazz instructor. No more partying for him. He must get back on track if he plans to join back up with his band. Two complete opposite people teaching two different instruments, play two different genres. What a challenge this will be. Can Maelie and Sebastian work through their differences?

Mindy McKinley has done it again. This the third story for the Adams Brothers. What a romantic rollercoaster you are about to take. Well written, fast paced and keeps you reading until the very end. You will love the characters! Maelie and Sebastian make you want to swoon. But keep reading there is more to come. Well Done Mindy McKinley! Well Done!

This book definitely took me back in time to my childhood, reminiscent of the Nancy Drew books I devoured one after the other as a young girl. The buccaneers of St Fredericks Island is about a young group of aspiring detectives who raise money for a group of children in NYC. The money is stolen and their clubhouse is burned down. These young, brave kiddos set out to solve these mysteries and find out if they are connected. Little do they know they will uncover a deeper threat to the people of the Island. The illustrations were a nice added touch to the story. I’d say the book is aimed at younger children in the 8-12 category or so but I found myself becoming invested in these characters and enjoying the story as it went on. The characters were fun and the tale intriguing. Overall this was a very pleasant, easy read. I look forward to letting my children enjoy this lovely mystery as well.

Gunner is the 6th book in the Eidolon series by Maddie Wade. Maddie Wade is an author I have become a huge fan of after reading the Tightrope book and the Fortis Security Series. I have the boxed set of the first 5 Eidolon books on my kindle and I’m sad to say that I’ve only read the first one so far but after reading Gunner and getting to know the Eidolon guys (and their better halves) I can’t wait to read the others in the series.
Gunner has become estranges from the Eidolon team after an incident involving his sister but needs their help when Lacey Cannon, a woman he has rescued in the past becomes in danger.
I absolutely loved Gunner and Lacey’s story and I have to admit to it having me in tears on several occasions, particularly in the prologue where I cried ugly tears. This is a fantastic story that will drag you through every emotion. If you are an emotional sod like me then I’d advise tissues. Gunner’s past has truly has a major effect on the man he has become and his story both fascinating and heartbreaking.
I adored Lacey too. She’s admired Gunner from afar ever since he saved her previously and she has to rely on him again when her life becomes in danger.
I love how Maddie Wade can entwine a great romance story with a fast paced, dramatic, dangerous, thrilling story that runs alongside and keeps the reader gripped from the very beginning and doesn’t let you go.
Would give this more than 5 stars if I could.

This was an interesting coming of age story. It is written from a first person point of view and we follow Ben through his journey from leaving school to university and life beyond.

There is an event that happens just before he graduates which leaves him reeling and feeling guilt and remorse. He finds a young girl naked on the bed at a party and it seems she has been raped by several of the party goers.

Because of his response or lack of response he spends his life feeling guilt for his lack of action. And a promise he makes that summer comes back to haunt him.

The story twists and turns but it all revolves around that experience and how it made him feel and react. It was interesting to read the story from a witness to the crime and seeing how it affected him instead of just being the view of the victim and criminal.

This is the third book in the Life is Hell series. This is a Paranormal Romance novel and comes in at around 150 pages. This story follows Teivel, a demon, and Oren, a demon hunter. Oren is new to this whole demon hunter thing. He recently found out he was a hunter, but there is no one that can assist him on how this all works, so it is a tad overwhelming. Like trying to figure out how the whole demon/demon hunter relationship will work was not tricky enough, a baby gets left on Oren’s doorstep. There was so much to love about this book and a totally unpredictable twist thrown in too!

He is tasked with finding a killer who is murdering women. The killer has been murdering blondes and making it look like an accident. Definitely a thrilling read with plenty of twists. I thought the plot was good and the characters were well written.

This isn’t my first read by this author and it definitely won’t be my last, each book that Amy McKinley brings you can guarantee that you will be hooked from the very beginning, and this one is no different. This read is fast-paced, action-packed, suspenseful, it has romance, heartbreak and danger. It has twists and turns that have you on the edge of your seat and high emotions throughout that left me wanting more. I absolutely loved following Kayla and Jaxson’s story, it captivated me from the very beginning and I couldn’t help but hope that after everything they go through that they find a way through and both get a HEA that they both deserve. I highly recommend this read and this author, this is a series not to be missed!

Learning to Live by Kira Adams is book one of the Infinite Love series.

I could not get enough of this book! I read it in one sitting and definitely wasn’t expecting it to turn out the way it did. I couldn’t stop reading until I knew what was going to happen! Ciera is just trying to make it through each day. She has to deal with bullies and mean pranks but she just had to get through the days. Topher is accustomed to living life a certain way. He didn’t really care too much about anyone other than himself. All it took was one look at Ciera after a little shopping trip with Madalynne and Topher is intrigued. Ciera took everything Topher thought and flipped it on its head. Ciera thought for sure she’d have to rely on herself to make it through her senior year. She had no idea she really needed Topher.

This book had so many emotions. I found myself in tears more than once! So heart breaking but there were some cute moments between Topher and Ciera. He turned out better than I had expected. His character definitely grows on you. I can’t wait to read more!

I love the way she writes her characters who are a little quirky and have idiosyncrasies.

This story was a beautifully crafted dark read. The author takes you on a journey across the ocean. The world is never what it seems. Lives are at stake and either their bond will save them or destroy them. I was so shook while reading this story. So much happening that you’re constantly in a sense of thrill. Paranormal is a genre that keeps on giving. The author did amazing with the style and flow of this story. The characters were well written. The heroine was brilliantly written. I’ve never read a story with such intensity in the dialogue. Seriously had me looking for more it was so good.

The characters are well developed and have realistic quality to then. This second chance/brothers best friend romance will keep you on the edge of your seat.
Jason and Kayla have a history both bad and good. Can they forget the past or at least come to accept the past and move on?

At All is the third book in the Adam Brothers series by Mindy McKinley. This is my favourite of the series, so far- which took me by surprise, because having met Sebastian previously I wasn’t sure I was going like him at all. This is an enemies to lovers contemporary romance- with drama, music, tension, steam, and emotion .
This is Sebastian (Seb) and Maelie’s story. Seb’s bad choices have resulted in his forced time away from the band. He’ll need to prove he’s recovered, before he’ll be allowed back. He decides to give lessons as a way of filling in time and keep him connected to music. He thinks it will be a breeze. Bet reality proves him wrong. Add Maelie to the mix, with her own complications- and this story had me avidly reading to find out how everything would play out.
A wonderful addition to the series!

Learning to Live: An Enemy to Lovers Ugly Cry is the first book in the Infinite Love series by Kira Adams. I was so not ready for the emotional walloping that comes with this book. This is both a heartbreaking and touching love story- bringing up a myriad of emotions as I followed the characters through all their ups and downs.
I loved Ciera and really felt for everything she went through. I wasn’t so keen on Topher at the beginning- but he did win me over after a while- much to my surprise. There is a sweetness to their story too- which I wasn’t expecting either. But that ending- no words- sooo many tears. GAH!
I really don’t want to go into the story and give anything away which would ruin it for you. But if you love a heart-wrenching and emotional reads- then this is definitely the book for you.

I don’t generally like zombies or the apocalyptic theme but having read the author’s writing in the past and knowing this story was less than 20 pages I figured there was nothing to lose. Honestly, I am lost for words. I have so much to say about this short story, yet no way to articulate how it made me feel. The imagery was fantastic. The characters were eery but symbolic of dating in the age of social media. I could write a hundred words but never be able to give Hungry Business ( or Maria Deblassie)  the credit it deserves. Highly recommend.

I give Black Dog Rising by Kat Caulberg, 5 stars.

This was such a unique and interesting paranormal romance. There are creatures in this story we don’t see much of in this genre. In this day and age, it becomes increasingly more difficult to not read about the same creatures over and over. The way the author uses them is also different but at the same time oh so entertaining. The main characters are real and endearing. Emma comes to learn and accept more and more as the book goes on. To me, the best part of the story was the tests. This is where the characters and story really shine. Not to mention that it is set in England, where there is already so much history and magic. I hope there will be more books set in this world with these characters in the future.

If you are a fan of paranormal romance, this fun story is for you. I could not put it down until I was finished.

Killer Blonde by Allan Evans was a thrilling 4 star read.
You get pulled in right from the beginning and you put your detective cap on right along with the characters.

Cade is a detective with some experience under his belt. When he gets called to the scene of an accident he quickly discovers that there is more than originally thought. There are several cases that seem to have a connection, blonde sophisticated women dying in car accidents, but are they really?

The killer likes to stalk his targets and learn their patterns before he attacks them. Will Cade be able to figure out who the killer is before any more lives are taken?

Overall this was a thrilling nail biting read. We get a dual POV between Cade and the killer, which I loved. I like books that keep you guessing to the end on who it can be. This fell a little short for me since we discovered who the killer sooner than I would have liked to. All of the characters added a great element to the story. I look forward to reading more from this author. 1-click and get started today.

Kat Caulberg created a vibrant world and I found myself lost in the wonder of that world. I also enjoyed the story of Tobias and Emma. I found it very moving and really liked following their journey to finding each other. Kat Caulberg is definitely an author that I will enjoy reading more from.

Gunner is full of action and danger, drama and secrets that will have you on the edge of your seat and heart pumping. Her characters make you fall in love with them and make you feel like you are part of their lives and their families.

Gunner needs to make amens for walking away from his brothers in arms, but will they accept him back? Along the way he meets one of his rescues and maybe, just maybe they were meant to be something more for each other and a way to heal from their pasts.

I look forward to reading more of Maddie’s work and what she brings us next.

I loved reading the book Vengeance (The Sundown Series Book 5) by Courtney Konstantin. It is a story that pulled me in and didn’t let me go until the final page. It is a journey that is emotional and includes danger. It is a book that had me turning pages wondering what was going to happen next. Max is one of the main characters in the story. She is intelligent, strong-willed. And is one that takes chances. What does the future hold for Max and those with her? Read this book to find out. This story is suspenseful and emotional as well. The author does an amazing job of making the story and the characters come alive. There are additional characters that are interesting to read about. I felt like I connected to Max and those who are with her. There are also those whose motives are not good. Don’t miss out on a story that is exciting, intriguing, and entertaining. Wow…that was quite a ride. I am glad I didn’t know much about this book before going into it because it made for a great read. I kept turning the pages and reading through until I reached the end in one sitting.

Jason and Drew are brothers that are both part of the band Razes Hell. Ellie has known Jason and Drew for years and is part of the glue that holds the brothers together. For publicity, their manage has had them playing on a brotherly feud that seems to become more truth than fiction as time wears on. When Ellie becomes the center of the feud, there may be no going back to the way things were. A secret held for a best friend may be the relationship ender that keeps the three apart forever. Is there any way to come back from that? (You’ll have to read to find out)

I really did enjoy the entire story. I could feel Ellie’s heart being tugged in different directions as the story progressed and my heart broke right along with hers. The ending was definitely worth the wait. And I found myself really enjoying Ellie’s sister’s character. Overall, a great book!

Not only his plotlines are intriguing, but his characters are also amazing. He pulls me in with his characters. I can see them vividly in my mind and I can feel what they are going through. This story is about a mother and a son’s relationship. There is evil all around. There is something going on that brings turmoil to this land. I do not want to give too much information about the story.I highly recommend this book for all psychological thrillers lovers.

I don’t even know where to begin with this one. I was not ready for the emotional roller coaster ride I was taken on with this story.

From the very first chapter I felt such strong emotions, from anger, hatred, sadness, empathy, etc. I felt it all and it didn’t let up until I reached the very end. The amount of tears I shed should probably be embarrassing but I couldn’t help it. This author wrote with so much detail that I was able to connect with the characters on such a deep level. This story felt so real, it was as if I was really experiencing this story in real life, and that is a true testament to this author’s writing ability and talent.

It’s not every day that you read a book as great as this one. This was my first book by this author but it will not be my last. I will be diving into every single one of her books ASAP.

I would definitely recommend this book to anyone looking for a life changing read, one that will leave you in tears, absolutely shredded but coming out on the other side with a different outlook on life. This is not a book that should be missed.

This is the first book I have read from this author and she now has a new fan. I love a good paranormal story but this author exceeded all my expectations. I was hooked on the first chapter. These characters drew me in on their story as well. It only took me a few hours to devour this amazing book.

Emma Aubrey finds herself in a small town in England. She was forced out of her ex’s life by his wife’s ghost. Emma knows that there’s paranormal out there but she is hearing a lot more stories in this small town. She meets Toby while she is in this small town. Emma finds herself being stalked by a shadow that keeps on finding her. Will her and Toby’s bond be strong enough to fight the darkness or will they both be destroyed?

I enjoyed this young adult story. I think any middle school aged to young adult would enjoy this story. This is a post-apocalyptic story that is emotional and suspenseful. This is the fifth book in this series but can be read as a stand alone. This is my first book in the series and I look forward to reading more from this series. This is a well developed story about Max who suffers a tragic accident that changes things for her. She is my favorite of the story and made the story fun to read. She has to look over her shoulder as she tries to keep her family safe. This is a story that is full of action and a great plot that kept me reading. Max and the other characters bring the story to life for me. I highly recommend this book.

This is the third book in this series, I enjoyed it just as much as the previous two. If you haven’t read the previous books in this series, I highly suggest you do. This is a paranormal romance that was fun and entertaining to read. I enjoyed how the characters pulled me into the story from the beginning. This is a story about Gage and Erica. Gage is an investigator that has problems with dating. What will happen when his high school best friend comes back into his life? Will he get a second chance at telling her how he really feels or will the spirits stop him? I truly enjoyed this book and what the characters bring to the story. They were easily connectable and just fun. I highly recommend this book.
