Cursed Sight by A.J. Renee is the second book in the Broderick Coven series. This is such an exciting story, full of twists and turns the whole way through. I found that I immediately connected to the characters and wanted to find out what their journey would be like. The story was really well developed as well. The author knew exactly what was needed in each moment to keep you interested and keep those pages turning. It was well written and engaging. I throughly enjoyed reading this book and I’m looking forward to what is next for this series.

This is the third book in the Freshwater series. This story follows Em, working on her PhD, and Joel, an architect. Neither are interested in a relationship as they are both too focused on their future. Joel’s client (Em’s father) suggests he and Em go out together. Meeting a spoiled daddy’s girl was not what he had in mind. But alas, Em’s father wants nothing more than for his little girl to settle down and get married. When Joel meets her, she is definitely not what he expected. Of course, sparks fly, but Joel needs to prove to her that he really is interested in her and not just because of her father.

This is the first season of the Phoenix Team and holds six books. This was a great series to read with the characters of Zariya and Konstantin being mostly the main ones throughout. Zariya is facing the death of her father and trying to figure out the world she is thrown into. She joins MASC and must prove that she is able to find the killer but also work with five other teammates and none of them know anything about each other. This is a fast-paced series and will keep you on the edge of your seat. It harbors quite a few mythical creatures with plenty of action and adventure throughout.

This is a Eve Sawyer Mystery. It was a great read that keeps you guessing from beginning to end. There are so many twists and turns that you really have no idea who’s done it until the end. The suspects change all the time and I loved it.
Eve Sawyer is a student in journalism. After finishing her term she decides to go to spend sometime with her friend Cassie and Bob at Lolly Beach. Eve is expecting relaxation, sun and Sand but how wrong she is.
When a local man is attacked and left in a coma Eva joins forces with Jake the reporter of the local paper. Together they follow leads that twist and turn to find out who is responsible. Not only for the attack but also for the murder that take place too.

When Liam needs to get away for a bit and get his head together after a surgery goes wrong, instead of going to see his girlfriend he decides to go back to his hometown. After being run out of town 20 years ago will he be able to confront the anger he felt all those years ago. So he booked an Airbnb and arrived at the flower shop. He did not believe he would be looking face to face with his past.
This story is a great tale of friendship, betrayal and trust and that you feel strong emotions with both of these characters. Liam’s character shows that he needs to soul search but needs the familiarity of his best friend to help him along the way. I loved the relationship between these two characters as the frosty beginning to then you are routing for them to rekindle the chemistry they had when they were younger. This story is well written and is a great paced book which once you have started can not put down. Although this book is part of a series, I feel you can read this as a stand-alone book. This is the second book I have read by this author and would love to read more.

I loved this story, it is full of what other people have said a Hallmark movie feels. The characters in this have a great chemistry which pulses off the page but what I love is that their relationship burns slowly at first and you get to truly know the characters. Each character has their fair share of angst and regrets which make them super relatable and I always think that those types of characters you could so easily have as friends. Although the main characters are well developed and written, the secondary characters also add an extra layer to the story and make it hard to put down once you have started reading.
This is the first book I have read by this author but I definitely would like to read more of the author and this series. If you enjoy a good romance with well written story and characters then this is a story for you.

I enjoyed this paranormal-romance story. This is not my first book by this author but it is one of my favorites. This is a well written story that has details that make the story feel realistic. I enjoyed how the characters pulled me into their story. They are connectable and made the story fun to read. This is a fast paced story that is engaging and I had a hard time putting it down. Emma and Toby both have pasts. What will happen when she ends up on his doorstep? Will the bond they form be enough to fight a stalker? I enjoyed their chemistry and watching their relationship grow throughout the story. This is a truly great story that I highly recommend.

This is a short novella that I enjoyed. It is a fairytale romance story that kept me turning pages to the end. It is written with a lot of imagination and heart. This is a collection of romance stories that are written by some great authors. You will find something for everyone in this collection. They are great stories that are unique and creative. They are each different and they each bring romance to a new level. My favorite story is Paper Love. This is a story that will tear at your heartstrings. I enjoyed watching Joss and Ben’s character grow and what they bring to the story. They made great characters and I really enjoyed them. I highly recommend this book.
Twisted Secrets (Deadly Isles Special Ops Book 1) by Amy McKinley
I have had the pleasure of reading several books by Ms. McKinley and enjoyed each and every one, but this book grabbed me in a way the others have not. Was the location? I mean it does take place in Hawaii. Was it Xander? A large hot muscular man with a protective streak could definitely have something to do with it. Could it be because Riley works at a coffee shop and I might have a slight coffee addiction?
But honestly the book just hit me and I found myself gasping when some happened or was revealed that I wasn’t anticipating. I evem found myself reading during a migraine which I never do.
I loved Xander and Riley and holy cow the chemistry was instantaneous. I’m already looking forward to the next book and I’m trying to figure out which brother is going down next.

This isn’t the first read by Skye, but for the new year it’s a great way to start. Skye knows how to keeps her readers around.

I didn’t ask for much, I just asked for a family. I don’t understand how you can sit here and say how bad your family is when you are literally exactly like them. You gave me up for a status. Ash was once upon a time a married man. His family didn’t like his fling and he left her for them. When he answered an ad he got the shock of a lifetime. He wants the girl and he will get her. Wow! This book was intense and captivating. This book had me hooked from the start and kept me on the edge of my seat throughout. Daught and Dolan are completely drawn to each other the moment they meet, unfortunately there are things beyond their control keeping them apart. These two never stop trying to be together. This book took me on some wicked twists and turns. In this story you will find, suspense, paranormal, danger, darkness, strength, love, and wonderful characters. This book has everything you could want in a great thriller. I don’t want to give anything away but I will say that this is a must read. I know I will be reading it again.. I highly recommend this book.
Athalie (the first book in the Sacrificial Chronicles series) by Jordan Elizabeth was a really good read! The cover of this novel is what first drew my interest to this novel. It’s just so pretty and unique, I’ve never seen a book cover quite like this one before. I wasn’t sure what to expect based off the synopsis, but I wasn’t disappointed! The story took a few chapters to really catch my interest, but once it did I didn’t want to put it down. The characters and places were so interesting, this was a different story unlike any I’ve read. I enjoyed the imagery, I could envision every place Athalie and Kalil visited almost perfectly. I can’t want to read the next installment in this series!

Ride with the Moonlight (Thunder on the Moor Book 2) by Andrea Matthews was a great historical romance read! Maggie’s story continues and everything I loved from the first book is here. The attention to detail and development was well done. I felt like I was watching a movie and often I found myself on the edge of my seat wondering what would happen next. I definitely get Outlander vibes from the story. I look forward to the next book.

After reading the first in this series, I could not wait to dive into this one and unfortunately it just didn’t hit the mark for me like the first one did. This is a second chance romance which is one of my favorite tropes ever, and it just fell short all around for me. The story was good overall and had the makings of a great story it just didn’t hit that love level for me. I felt the characters were more friends than in love, and I hated feeling that way. I will be reading the next in this series as I do like these but it just might not have been a good reading day for me and may do a reread sometime.
Murder at Lolly Beach is the second novel in the Eve Sawyer series by Jane Suen. It picks up shortly after the first story, Murder Creek, during the summer between semesters for Eve.
We get to meet more of Eve’s friends while she heads to the beach with her friend Cassie for some relaxation. Too bad it quickly turns into a trip not even remotely related to relaxation. After Cassie’s friend in town is attacked it all goes downhill from there. Unfortuntely for Eve, her curiousity prevents her from sitting it out and just enjoying the beach.
I enjoyed this novel because you get to know the main character of the series better! Sometimes I wish there was a little more “meat” in each chapter/scene, but this is a quick, interesting read!

This is an anthology that has a set of 21 great authors. They are steamy, heartfelt romance stories that you will find a favorite or two. My favorite is Don’t Worry I Still Hate you. It is written by an author that I love and always gives me a page turner. This story pulled me in from the beginning and kept me engaged to the end. It brought heat to a new level. The characters are connectable and made the story feel real. They really made the story for me. This is a great story that I would highly recommend.

My goodness, there is so much packed in this book! Wow! The characters are so real you could reach out and touch them! She set the scene just perfectly in the small town it made me want to go and see if this was a true life town or made up (I never looked, so I don’t know, either way…I want to go there) I think Gramps was my favorite or Mamma, I can’t decide! There is heat, spark (are those the same?), laughter, drama and turmoil, tears (both happy and sad) interwoven in the pages of this story.
I really enjoyed getting into this story, I can’t wait to read Heartbeats and Roses!!

“What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas.” Perrie kept this moniker in her mind while attending a bachelorette party. A coworker convinced her to try out a hookup app. The first twist in Happily Ever After, Don’t Worry I Still Hate You is brought into play when Marie Skye has Perrie hooking up with Ash. The pair had a past relationship that fell apart because of secrets that Ash had failed to divulge. After Perrie’s one night stand, she posted an ad for a roommate. After screening through applicants, she was overjoyed to find Ashley. Perrie goes on a visit to her family. Two weeks later, she gets a major shock when she sees a naked Ash standing in her kitchen. She tries to keep him at a distance, but something has Ash actively pursuing her.
Appreciation of Skye’s ability to write the emotions of Ash and Pierre are definitely worth noting. Each chapter is labeled with the view that I was looking through. I have to side with Ash’s perception being logical and his actions being reasonable. Pierre was an emotionally reactive character with major abandonment issues. This story is worth a 5-star rating. The well-developed characters, believable interactions, and light comedy made this a quick read for me but also a book that I couldn’t help reading more than once. I caution against younger readers because of the explicit scenes and profanity. The backstory of the characters is tied in with how each character is feeling from the current situation they are facing.

Black Dog Rising by Kat Caulberg is a great fantasy romance book that really keeps you on your toes. The whole book just keeps throwing twists and turns out – just as you think you have got something figured out the author sends the story down a different path entirely. It mad the book surprising and such a good book to read. I loved the main characters – Emma and Toby were not only worked so well together but were perfect for this particular story. The book is exciting to read. I think I enjoyed it even more because it was set in Suffolk, England. It is always nice to read a book set in my country and I always feel a little more connected with it. I am already looking forward to more from this author.

Em Georgiou is working to finish her PHD. She has no time for romance or commitments. She loves men, just not the ones her father set up for her. Something Joel has no interest in. He does not do relationships! Once they meet Joel discovers Em is far more than her father gives her credit for. She is smart, educated and strong willed. Shocking Joel, he finds himself wondering if maybe he can try to know Em. Em on the other hand wants nothing to do with Joel. Or does she? Will these two come together or run the other way?
Belinda Williams has written this laugh out loud romantic comedy. I loved reading her story and getting to know her characters. Sometimes we are smarter than our father’s think. Or anybody else for that matter. Be sure to touch bases with your feelings.I think you will love reading this book as much as I did. It is fast paced and draws you right in. Sit down and enjoy this story as I did. Belinda Williams you knock this one out of the park! Well Done Belinda Williams. WELL done!

This character is one that takes time to get into their head but the more you know, the more they grow on you and Stormy is no different. There was a point I didn’t know where the author was bringing us with this character but I’m glad I took a chance to get to know him. This book has such amazing authors in it. Each story was great! I decided to give a try and I wasn’t let down. I love anything by Marie Skye and this too, did not disappoint. Not only was this a great story but it was hilarious. I read this in a work day- literally. I opened the book and read the entire day until I’d finished. The main female character is Perrie (Pear) and she’s funny. I love her. I honestly couldn’t get enough of these characters. The main male character is Ash and he was so loveable in an irritating way- haha. Absolutely read this book. The premise is Perrie needing to find confidence in herself… or so she thinks. It’s a great read.

This book was so sweet to read and I’m grateful that she came in with a beautiful attitude and that she stole Joel’s heart from the way she maintained a personal attitude. Speaking of Em, her father is a sweetheart who just sees the bigger picture: LOVE, the old fashioned love that makes these books worth reading. I was blown away by the characters more than anything else in this book. So, brava to Belinda Williams for writing a new favorite book for me.

Athalie is book one in the Sacrificial Chronicles series by Jordan Elizabeth. This is my first time reading anything by this author, and she didn’t disappoint. Athalie is a young adult, coming of age tale and is jam-packed full of action, drama, and emotion right from the start.
The book description drew me in and I was hooked immediately. It is not my usual genre of books, but I love the descriptive elements and I could clearly imagine what the author wanted me to see. The characters are full of life and personality, and Athalie in particular is strong and brave. I found the story a little difficult to follow in places and found myself having to backtrack to try and keep up. I think I may need to reread it now that I have a better understanding of things.
I would definitely recommend this to fans of young-adult fantasy stories.

This is a beautifully written story that fills you with a sense of romance from start to finish. Set in a sleepy little town it brings the quaint life alive and the setting is perfect for a second chance romance story.
Rose is a romantic. A complete helpless romantic. As owner of the local florist she is tasked to make special flowers arrangements for any occasion always with a theme of love in there. However, as much as she finds and creates love for other people she has been unable to find love for herself. The only person she ever felt that for was Liam.
Liam is now doctor. He left his home town and Rose behind years ago but he finds his way back. Trying to escape from the stresses of his job the last thing he expected to find was Rose.
Will they be able to rekindle their past love? Will Liam current situation stop anything blooming before it starts? Can a love that started years before survive?
This author has done it again! Amanda Mellett is the author of Stormy’s Thunder: Satan’s Devils MC Utah, which is book 2 in the series. I love all of the Satan’s Devils books. There are all kinds of twists and turns and emotional rollercoasters. This book is no exception. Stormy is a man that has a lot of demons in his closet. This is when his demons come back to haunt him. But this time, he has something worth fighting for…Cat. The chemistry between these two is undeniable. Their connection and their commitment to each other is off the charts. I love the way that this author writes these stories. I am 100% behind this and all the other series. This book sucks you in and keeps you flipping pages until you are done with it! I was not disappointed at all! I can’t wait for the next book in this series.
