Lillie by Mya O’Malley is book three of the Maggie Trilogy. I recommend reading books one and two before diving into Lillie. You’ll better understand the story and you’ll also get to read two more great books.
Naomi and Bryce are newly married and Naomi feels her life is finally settling down a bit. However, the spirits can’t control when they need her help and they are back again. The time feels different than the others and Naomi can’t quite figure out why but she knows she needs to help this spirit before her world is torn apart. It won’t be easy but Naomi has to do what needs done.
As a reader who doesn’t typically enjoy paranormal, this book (and the whole trilogy) have been really enjoyable to read. The author writes a great story and weaves so much into the story that you are in deep before you realize it. I highly recommend this book!

BELOVED (21st Century Courtesan Book 3) By Pamela DuMond. From the first book I’ve loved this series. And this one was no different in the way of me loving it. I do highly recommend reading these in order to stay clear on the characters and the overall experience. I like a book that can do a darker storyline well and this author definitely does it well. Each character brings something unique to the story and you can’t help but feel a connection with each one in some way. From page one I knew I was in for quite the journey with Evie, and that’s exactly what I got. There’s times my emotions were a bit all over and I loved every minute of it. If you’re looking for something unique and a little on the darker side I highly recommend this book. It’s well written and paced nicely never feeling rushed or lacking anything. I was completely hooked from start to finish. Five stars all the way and highly recommended!

Beloved is the third book in the addictive 21st Century Courtesan Series by Pamela DuMond. I am definitely addicted to this series- the story, the brilliant writing, and fantastic characters all blend together to make this book/series unforgetable! Ms. DuMond is one of my favourite authors, and on my “one-click-no-questios-asked” list. I know anything she produces will be a page-turning read… and this story was everything I had hoped for and so much more. As this story continues from books one and two, and has recurring characters- I really recommend reading the other two books before starting this one- as the others contain important backstory and character introductions, which you should know in order to fully appreciate this brilliant book and the bridging storyline! As I’ve mentioned before, this series is wonderfully original, with plenty of complexity, layers, and clever interconnected details. Ms. DuMond weaves a rich and textured story with wonderful attention to detail and with a vividly descriptive quality to the scene setting, character building and story development. This book is sexy and very emotive- with plenty of danger, suspense, mystery, intrigue, and lots of dramatic turns. If you’ve followed this series, then you will know that Evelyn Berlinger (Evie) is an empath who became a high priced escort- using her empathic abilities to provide a unique experience for her wealthy clientele. She has been through quite a lot since we met her back in book one- and this book takes things to a whole new level. I loved Evie from the moment I met her at the beginning of the series- she’s such a fantastic character- so wonderfully complex, unique, endearing, interesting, and entirely memorable. I have loved every second of her story and have become completely invested in her and the outcome of it all. Bring on Book #4-as it can’t come quickly enough for my liking. Can-not-wait!!! It’s set to be a riveting read, that’s for sure!

Lexi is giving her fiancé the benefit of the doubt and working hard to work through their problems, but she refused to be anyone’s doormat again.
This story is filled with love and drama and felt like real-life. The situations the characters found themselves in felt so real that I was feeling their emotions right along with them. I laughed, cried, and found myself wanting Lexi to find happiness wherever that led her. I was immersed into the story from the first page and sat in the same spot until I got to the last page. The supporting characters in this story are amazing, and I am looking forward to the next book where one of them is featured. I will definitely be picking it up!

Lillie Maggie Trilogy Series Book 3 By Mya O’Malley ☆☆☆☆☆ This a full length, non stop thriller. Paranormal themed.
I truly enjoyed reading this book. Every page had to be turned quickly, as I could not put it down until I finished. I was up all night as Naomi and Bryce got married. Naomi gains a daughter, as well as Holly’s spirited friend Lillie. She had hoped to relax and fall into her marriage. Well that never happened. Her friend Officer Maria Marty needs her help to solve another murder case. As well as she needs to help Holly and Lillie.
Mya O’Malley has done it again. Her story was well written and thrilling at the same time. Been awhile since I have read such a story. The characters she picked were spot on. I felt so many feels while reading. What a great paranormal story. I will be looking for more from Mya O’Malley.
The Jake Wolfe Series by Mark Nolan are a great collection for anyone who enjoys crime thriller books. The books follow Jake Wolfe and his retired war dog Cody. I would compare them along the lines of Michael Connelly. I would give the series a 5 star review, with the books getting better as the story progresses. They can be read as stand alone, but the characters overlap and I got invested. It is full of surprises, and does a great job developing the characters, their relationships together, as well as fully building their past. Book 1- Dead Lawyers Don’t Lie is the story of a killer, known as The Artist, who is hired by a group of wealthy people to kill lawyers. He is creative in his methods, putting a lot of thought and creativity into each job. A photo journalist (and former Marine) Jake Wolfe, accidentally captures the first murder on film, as well as a perfect shot of the killer. He turns the evidence over to his best friend Terrell, who is a homicide police officer, as well as to the media, which turns Jake into a target. The killer is enraged at Jake, and adds him to his kill list. Jake, his dog Cody, and his best friend Terrell, try to catch the killer, before he catches them. Vigilante Assassin is book 2 in the Jake Wolfe Series. Jake and his retired war dog Cody assist in a multi agency investigation to find a missing husband, which quickly turns into something much bigger than just a missing person. I enjoyed this book more than the first, and give it a 5/5 star review. It is well written, and full of mystery and suspense. It kept me on the edge of my seat and wondering what will happen next. Jake is a character who lives by his own set of rules, and has no hesitation to kill when necessary. He has a soft spot for children and animals, which results in his being in being in dangerous situations. I highly recommend this book to anymore who enjoys thrilling suspense books. Killer Lawyer is the third book in the Jake Wolfe series by Mark Nolan. Jake is a complex character, he is a lawyer by day, and an assassin by night. He works with the US Marshalls, and also alongside the SFPD. He also is a retired marine, and K9 handler, so he and his dog Cody chase down criminals. In this book, they are after a serial killer that is terrorizing the greater San Francisco area. Jake has a lot of connections that help him track the killer, including his best friend Terrell, who is part of SFPD and Jake used to be a photo journalist, so he has ties to the media as well. Overall its a very good book, with a good balance of psychology, law and suspense and drama. I love Mark Nolan’s stories, and this did not disappoint.

This was the first book I’ve read by this author and I am definitely looking forward to more! This is a great second chance love story that truly gets you involved in the lives of the characters and makes you feel like you are right there with them. You feel what they’re feeling. Empathize with them. Yell at them. I may or may not have called Lexi stupid once or twice! LOL!
Lexi was engaged to JC when she was young. He continually cheated on her and she continually put up with it. This book so good, and a quick read! It’s moves very quickly, while still keeping very well with the plot and details. I really enjoyed having the different points of view to read. Naomi Valkyrie did a great job with the character development in this novel, with many strong female characters! I highly recommend this book, and I can’t wait for the next one! Or at least I hope there’s a sequel!

Oh my Lord!!! This author! I just can’t …I have wondered since book 1 how this author would handle this character. I was scared because Fiona is complicated to say the least, and didn’t leave me with much love for her after reading Run to the Sea.
It didn’t take me long to feel sincerely sorry for this poor little rich girl who had been handed everything she ever wanted her whole life, her sole purpose was keeping up that persona especially around her friends, friends that had found their significant others while she was always party of one. When she concocts a plan to hire a companion you just know that this is not going to end well, especially when the one she hires is her complete opposite.
I’ve loved the first two books in this series, I mean really loved which is why I can’t stress enough that you read them all, but this one, completely blew me away! The whole book builds up to the most amazing last 25% of a book I’ve ever read! I mean..take your breath away kind of build up. So emotional and simply perfect!
I don’t see any news of another book and I was so hoping that Nicky would get her own and we could learn even more about Cold Creek…I could visualize it all and I want the library in Stone Farm. Please please give us more, don’t let it end here 🙁

Ink’s Devil by Manda Mellett is the fifth book in the Satan’s Devil MC Colorado Chapter. These books can be read as standalone’s however I would personally recommend reading them all in order so you get the full character build up. This book is every bit as amazing as the previous books. The characters are fantastic and so easy to get into. They are complex and intriguing to read about. The story is great as well. This author really knows how to build a story and how to keep you hooked from start to finish. This is an amazing book and a series that I would definitely recommend!

I am completely in love with this series. This author takes us on an exciting adventure with every single one of her stories and Ink and Beth’s story is no different. This book is full of romance, mystery, danger, and so much more. I read this book in one sitting because I just couldn’t put it down, I needed to know what was going to happen next. I also love how the author brings in the character from the other books so we still get to read about all the characters we love while also meeting new ones. Ink thought the single life is what he would want forever until he met Beth. Beth has some insecurities about her height but she is a strong woman in other ways, and she finds herself drawn to Ink. I was rooting for their HEA throughout the entire book. I highly recommend this book I absolutely loved this story!!

Journeys Through SpaceTime (Journeys Through Book 1) by James Talisman 5 Stars I really enjoyed this exciting and fast paced debut novel by James Talisman. Set in the ‘MultiVerse’ of multiple worlds scattered through both space and time this sci-fi/fantasy story was out of my comfort zone and not a genre I have read before. Honesty I had never heard of the term MultiVerse, but I am so pleased I gave this book a chance. The blurb states it is, “an exciting journey of adventure and discovery”, and it did not disappoint. The story begins with a mysterious voice which is heard in the mind of a selection of inhabitants across the multiple worlds within the MultiVerse of space and time, who’s voice is it and what does it want? The world building is so well done I felt as though I was on each world, and through Talisman’s descriptive writing the sights, sounds and smells all came alive. There were a lot of different characters introduced from the various worlds, each with their own stories. I did struggle to remember them all in the beginning but the list of main characters at the beginning of the book definitely helped and I did refer back to this at times. The story was told from each characters point of view which I liked and the characters were likeable and relatable, from Hirisho, the sword master’s son from the Dameon Province world, Queen Neferities of the Isonian Empire, Matt Larson, a college student on EarthVerse world, the reptilian humanoid scientist, and a leader of an utopian world. Along with their mentors, who seemed to have ‘godlike’ powers, each character embarks on an adventure and joins the battle between good versus evil. I highly recommend this well written debut novel which has an exciting storyline even to readers not familiar with this ‘MultiVerse’ genre. It is book one in Talisman’s, ‘Journeys Through’ series and I look forward to the next instalment.

Ink’s Devil by Manda Mellett a five-star read that will blow you away. This is number five in the Satan Devil’s MC (Colorado Chapter) and they just go from strength to strength, they could be read as stand-alone but honestly, I have loved them as a series. Beth and Ink are amazing characters, they have a story that you need to read and devour. Manda Mellett is a great storyteller, and this is a story that you need in your life, they bring new characters into the story that I cant wait to hear more from. If you are looking for a twisty turn emotional roller-coaster of a story, then you need this story in your life.

Beloved by Pamela DuMond a four-star read that will be your beloved. This is number three in the 21st Century Courtesan series and I would recommend you read them as a series in order as you will get the best out of them that way, it’s a good strong series and tells a very good story. This is the end of the trilogy. It’s a perfect ending. I was really concerned that Bruce and Naomi would continue to be together. They have been through ups and downs in their relationship. We start this book on an up…..and it progresses down and then even lower. The title is Lillie and she is a high ranking star in the book. I think Naomi still overpowers her and is the shining star. While it’s not necessary to read the previous two. It will help in understanding Naomi’s gift and a few other things she refers to in here.

Abbie is a grade A student who has big plans which seem on track until the mysterious Avenger appears and threatens to reveal her secret which will ruin her life.
The only way to stop that happening is to play the game and follow the rules. But is the Avenger really real or not, only time will tell.

Game of Fear: The fearless series by Glede Browne Kabongo is a 5 star read. Abbie Cooper is a high school senior, she has big plans for her future until a note in her textbook from someone calling themselves “The Avenger” saying they know what she did brings back painful memories of 3 years previous when her mother was in jail waiting to be tried for murder and Abbie did something stupid that she fears is now coming back to haunt her. Abbie thinks she knows who the blackmailer is but finding the evidence is hard. I must admit I figured out pretty quickly who the blackmailer was but it in no way took any enjoyment I got from reading this book. This is the first in a series about Abbie at different points in her life, this author has created an amazing story with characters who keep you hooked. I would highly recommend this book.

Journeys Through Spacetime was such a fantastic read! I was instantly pulled into the story through the author’s imaginative ad creative writing style. This is the author’s debut novel and I am really looking forward to seeing where he takes this series. The storyline is complex but I really found that I was able to become fully absorbed into what I was reading. I’m not usually a fan of sci-fi stories but I did actually really enjoy this one and I am definitely looking forward to reading more! The characters in the story were really interesting to read about, and being told form multiple points of view enabled me to begin to understand the role each of them played in the story. The story as whole was beautifully detailed and I could definitely tell how much work the author had out into the story. As I said earlier I am really looking forward to the next book in the series and I would absolutely recommend this book to other readers!

5 Star Scoring Chance: A Mile High Miners Novella by Lane Martin Scoring Chance : A Mile High Miners Novella by Lane Martin is a short is a short read that once I started reading I couldn’t put it down till the end so I finished . This is my first read by this Author and definitely won’t be the last. There were times I felt like I was on a emotional rollercoaster ride my emotions were all over the place. The story flowed smoothly and the characters were very well developed and easily relatable. Rhett and Eden are both stronger than they realize but both have broken pasts. Rhett is a goalie for the Miners even though he’s yet to get anytime on the ice. When these two meet there is definitely attraction. Neither one of them can get the other out of there mind. What does their future look like? Will she give him a chance ? Find out what happens next in this must read. I look forward to reading more from this Author.

This book was awesome, I really liked it. It can be read as a standalone but I highly recommend reading the first 4 books because they are just as good! Scoring Chance was such a great short story! I highly recommend this if your looking for a short but very sweet love story. This novella gives you all the emotions of a regular book, plus more! I laughed, I cried, I sympathized, and I understood. I think anyone who reads this story can relate in some way, shape or form. This is the first I’ve read from Lane Martin but it won’t be the last!

Never Date a Siren (College Fae Book 1) by Byrd Nash was an exciting first addition to this series. Logan is placed under a Siren’s spell at the start of his freshman year of college. Brigit is also a freshman who is needing a new place to stay and happens to find that Logan has a spare room. The two become mixed up in a mess and she is set on freeing him from the Siren’s spell. This story was fascinating and mystical. I loved the different septs and type of fae in each. The storyline was also easy to follow and magical. The scenery was descriptive and easy to visualize. I cannot wait to read the next book. I loved this novel and could bot set it down. I highly recommend it and I look forward to reading more from this author.

Game of Fear by Glede Browne Kabongo is an interesting Young Adult book. Not murder and mayhem but blackmail and manipulation. A book about mistakes and how they come back to haunt us and a book about facing our prejudice and overcoming it. It’s a good clean story that is well suited to teenagers and older adults who like a good mystery to unravel. A really good, laid back read.

A great read about second chances. When Connor was dealing with his mothers death, he met Mary Ann who was the florist. But with grief, he distanced himself from her and the chance of a relationship with her. A few months later, he returns to the town with a new outlook on life. He bumps into Mary Ann again and old feelings resurface. But will she give him a second chance at love? A great read. Well developed plot with twists and turns. Well developed characters like Connor going after what he wants but also unsure or Mary Ann standing up for herself but vulnerable underneath. Great cast of suoporting characters like the no nonsense Mrs Steele or the perceptive Alana. I loved the visual detail throughout the novel like with the snow covered forest and sparkling trees on the car drives making the countryside peaceful and magical. Or with the cards later on with the childlike fun and togetherness as they make the best of a bad situation. Or with the memory of her father with the colourful trees and hot chocolate and bonfires with sights and sounds and smells so vivid its as if you’re actually there. The switch of perspectives worked well to display both sides of the story and was easy to follow with names at the start of chapters.The memories worked well to portray the events of the past and didn’t disrupt from the narrative of the present. The only issue I would raise is that there was some repetition in places which could have been reduced. Overall, a great read and I would give it five stars.

Taming Zane (Almost Perfect Series Book 2) by Lisa Lanay is a contemporary romance that you will enjoy. Lisa has written yet again characters that you cannot help falling in love with. They are well written and well-rounded and Lisa has created a world that you want to be a part of, take the journey with them. It is a story where he doesn’t want a relationship and she does, only to find that she is everything he never knew he wanted. From good looking guy to savior, to friend and a romp between the sheets to you can’t be anything more, to OMG I love her makes me want to smack some of these men but I’ve said it before and I will say it again, it doesn’t matter how many contemporary romances there are written, if the writer does a good job and Miss Lisa does a good job then it is worth the read.

Scoring Chance: A Mile High Miners Novella by Lane Martin was an easy steamy and romantic read. I could not out this book down. Eden Snow and Rhett Crawford are the main characters. They were developed well, easy to relate to, and realistic. I loved the quotes used in building their relationship that originated from one of my favorite childhood books. This story was sweet, tragic, and refreshing. I loved the setting and how both main characters worked to build a nonprofit organization for kids. This story was touching and I loved it. I highly recommend it and look forward to reading more from this author.

This short book was a pleasant surprise and wonderful addition to my library. It moved quickly and kept me enthralled. I didn’t expect to breeze through the story as quickly as I did. I loved the characters and how the author developed the storyline. Overall I really enjoyed being introduced to this author and the series and look forward to reading more from both.

Scoring Chance: A Mile High Miners Novella by Lane Martin

First time author for me and HOLY COW I loved this book…read it in a very short time in one sitting and found I couldn’t read it fast enough. It was a constantly moving story and by that I mean there was no added fluff that was unneeded while reading. I love this style of writing where every word just flowed perfectly and smoothly.
I fell head over heels in love with Rhett and Eden, both broken yet both with strength they didn’t even know they had. I loved how Rhett handled everything about Eden, and I loved even more when his alpha side would come out. This is my first book also in this series and I will have them all because I also loved the other characters in this book. My favorite I think being Robin and all that she stood for in Edens life.
This book will hit you in all the feels… I laughed and there was one particular part that took my breath away, and I had some tears.
This is an amazing story and not only will I read the rest of this series but I will definitely be reading more from this author!

Scoring Chance is a fantastic novella in the Mile High Miners Series by Lane Martin. I had never previously read any work by this author but was attracted by the blurb and decided to give it a try. I’m so glad that I took a chance on a new author to me. This novella, although only 138 pages long, has so much packed into it. It really is a fantastic story. Set around the Mile High Miners NHL team, Scoring Chance gives us the story of new goal tender, Rhett Crawford and Eden Snow who is the friend and ‘live-in nanny’ of the team captain and his wife. Both Rhett and Eden have had very troubled and difficult childhoods and a relationship isn’t high on either’s priority list, however, the attraction between the 2 off the charts hot. As much as Rhett does everything to make Eden want him, issues from her past just make her push him away. I loved both Rhett and Eden. Added to them both are a really great list of secondary characters who add so much to the story, including Rhett’s teammates and some of their better halves who befriend Eden. This is a fantastic story of overcoming a difficult childhood, slaying your demons and going all out for what you want and Lane Martin has done an amazing job with this. I would definitely recommend this book to others.
