Via Mari has outdone herself with this one! She has created a story that makes your heart race in more ways than one! Bound is action packed, suspenseful, intense, romantic, and sexy! Once you start reading, you will not be able to put it down.
Jenny and Brian face even more troubles that are bound to tear them apart. It’s impossible to know who they can trust and who they can’t, including having doubts about one another. It seems everyone is out to get Jenny, the police and court system trying to prove she murdered her ex, the mafia, and possibly even those closest to her. Even with his doubts and trust issues, Brian is trying with everything that he has to keep Jenny safe, both from outside sources and from herself. He uses his dominance over Jenny to create a safe space for her and to help her forget about everything that’s going on, which amounts to lots of super steamy encounters that will have you feeling a bit hot yourself! Will they be able to beat the odds and be together, or will they end up losing each other forever?
We are left with quite the shocking cliffhanger at the end and I can’t wait to jump into Book 3 so I can finally close my jaw that’s been left hanging since I finished Bound!

Guilty Pleasures Volume 3: Guilty Pleasures by Joyce McCarthy was a hot steamy read, that had me hooked.
Not my first read by this author or in this series. I was instantly pulled in by the tease of an opening, and before I knew it I was flipping the steamy pages, while trying not to get too, over heated.
Following Brad and his adventures was a treat. This collection of short yet steamy stories are the perfect mix of smut, hot, quick, and it pulls on fantasies that some of us may have had. It’s a perfect way to escape, get you a little hot under the caller and, looking over your shoulder to make sure no one catches onto what you’re reading. The writing is easy to follow, detail and has a nice rhythm. Overall this book is very well constructed and is worth the pick up and read.
To end this book gets my super high recommendation and my stamp of approval.
Game Changer by Sylvie Stewart was a fun book! It was quite humorous and I really liked the characters. It’s full of witty banter and such a sweet romance. I really liked Poppy and Mac’s chemistry. I really liked Poppy being from Savannah and her sassy ness. Overall I liked it and enjoyed the writing! 4 star rating!

With a title like this one, I wasn’t sure what to expect but what a hidden gem of a book! I laughed throughout this book which was helpful as i’ve read pretty heavy as of late. It took just a bit to get into the swing of the writing style and the pov’s going through many people, but once it clicked i took off flying through the pages. What happens when the media gets involved, a circus comes to town and a ghost? This book does.

Game Changer by Sylvie Stewart was a great read for me. I have read a few books by this author and have loved everything I read so far. This was no different for me. This book had all the feels. There was happy, sad, scared, anxiety and heat. Poppy James leaves Savannah for NYC to follow her dreams. She meets Mac who is tall, dark, sexy and tatted but he’s very grumpy. They first see each other when Poppy is caught looking in his window staring at his sexiness while he is working out. Poppy never thought her first subject she would need to interview would be none other then that big, hulking man. Luckily for Poppy, Mac never does interviews but one look at her and he changes his mind. Poppy and Mac have a lot of chemistry and all it takes is a visitor from Savannah to get that ball rolling.
Poppy and Mac make a great couple. She gets him to loosen up at times and he loves her sassy attitude almost as much as he loves her sexy body. Mac has reasons for his grumpiness which you will find out about in the book. What will happen when one of Mac’s closest friends who he trusts more then anyone else sets him up and blames someone else. Will Poppy and Mac be able to overcome all of the bad stuff being done? Loved this book. You don’t want to miss out on this 5 star read!

Game Changer is the newest romantic comedy from Sylvie Stewart, and holy hotness is about the best way to put into words how I felt after reading this book. I adored Poppy and Mac. Poppy is the sweet and sassy southern red head that finds herself transplanted right into the hustle and bustle of New York City life. Mac is quite possibly the strong opposite to Poppy. He’s a quiet and withdrawn, and often growly alpha male. He truly is balanced whenever Poppy is around. Both of their personalities shine in both the comedic relief and steamy scenes. Sylvie Stewart once again drew me in those first few pages so intently that it was next to impossible to be able to put this book down. I found myself reading well past my bedtime to find out how this book would come to a culmination. I am not even one bit sorry for the grumpy mood that ensued the next day from lack of sleep lol. Well worth every moment spent laughing and swooning with Poppy and Mac! I can’t wait to get my hands on the next book by the ever talented Sylvie Stewart!

Game Changer is one of the funniest and most engaging stories I have read this year. This gem is the work of Sylvie Stewart and is hands down my favourite book of hers that I’ve read (so far)! This book is a romantic comedy- but there is so much more to this superb story- because woven through the storyline is some wonderful tension, sizzling chemistry, steamy encounters, dramatic moments, a little angsty push-pull, and lots of heartfelt emotion. I was introduced to Ms. Stewart through her Carolina Connections series and was immediately hooked. I didn’t think this story could beat the other books I’d read- but I was wrong! If I could give this more than 5 Stars, I would. It was so much fun to read, wonderfully engaging, with all the feels to give it even more depth and connectivity. LOVE LOVE LOVE!!! Poppy James has spread her wings and has set flight to make her dreams come true. This down home Georgia peach has left everything and everyone she loves back home to move to New York to join a national magazine as Creative Director. That’s if the team can give the publication a complete makeover, and win over the board of directors in the process. There is a lot riding on their success. This is her big chance to change her life and she’s determined not to mess it up. She is desperate to be taken seriously, so she says “Goodbye” to Georgia Poppy, and “Hello” New York Poppy. But the annoying and impossible to ignore subject of her artisan showcase interview throws an anvil in her plans and becomes a huge distraction for her- distraction with a capital D. Mac is what we’d call tall, dark, and brooding. He’s a hot hunk of tattooed goodness, the strong silent type, who has such an intensity about him that he scares most people away. That suits him fine. He doesn’t ‘do’ people. He has his workshop, his forge, and his creations- they won’t let him down. But people do. He comes with quite a lot of baggage which really weighs him down. Poppy will have her work cut out for her to even get him to agree to speak with her, let alone give her anything much to write about. But fate has a way of interfering. I LOVED Poppy and MAC- they are really wonderful characters who were so perfect for each other. Their chemistry was off the charts- electrifying!!! They really made this one deliciously Hot and Sexy read. But all the characters played their part to make this story stand out from the crowd- this was a stellar cast- with secondary characters who made an impact. Some were so loveable, like Cookie and Naveed- as well as some not so nice personalities who added an element of drama to the whole story. They all made this a very entertaining read. The wit and humour were so on point- with such funny banter, quips, and antics- I was laughing out loud quite a lot through the book. I love the addition of the ‘southernisms’ and the ‘Cookie Quotes’- it was very clever of Ms. Stewart and added more personality to the story. Poppy cracked me up with some of her analogies, and self-talk! This story was so well written I could ‘hear’ Poppy’s voice, southern accent and all, in my head as I read along. When Mac grunted or ‘spoke’ with his eyebrows, I could see/feel it. There wasn’t an element of this story that was left untouched by Ms. Stewart’s attention to detail and vividly descriptive touches- and because of that, the whole book came alive and ‘played out’ before my eyes. It takes true talent to achieve that! On an interesting note, this book seems to be a crossover with Rule Breaker by Phoebe Alexander, as the two books share characters, and other major details. I have really enjoyed both books, and the clever, entertaining, and original stories both authors have produced using the shared elements. While both books can be read as standalones, I really recommend reading both! I cannot recommend “Game Changer” highly enough! Seriously, do yourself a favour and grab yourself a copy to enjoy. You really won’t regret it! Superb!!

Game Changer by Sylvie Stewart is a romantic comedy. This is not my first book by this author and it will not be my last. Stewart creates a great story and characters that you can become apart of easily. I found that this was a fast paced story. I was reading the story and even my puppy was looking at me funny because I was laughing so hard. This is a story that proves that opposites attract. I recommend this story to anyone who needs a laugh.

Bound is the 2nd book in The Torzial Affair series by Via Mari. The Torzial Affair series is a spin off from The Prestian Series by Via Mari. I would definitely recommend that you read book 1, Shattered, before reading Bound as the story continues straight on from where we are left hanging at the end of book 1. This book will take you on even more of a roller coaster journey than Shattered. You will laugh and cry and feel every emotion possible when reading this. There are some particularly harrowing scenes which could be a possible trigger for some readers. The threat on Jenny intensifies and to make matters worse, her rapist ex is murdered and she is the police’s number 1 suspect. Although she is innocent, the evidence that the police has makes her look guilty. Brian and his team are doing everything possible to keep her safe from the mafia and at the same time, prove her innocence. This book is hotter than the first as Brian and Jenny’s relationship progresses and he adds a bit more BDSM to the bedroom. Yet again Via Mari leaves you with a cliffhanger. It was one of those WTF! Moments. Thankfully I have book 3 already on my kindle. I’d have hated to have waited for the book to come out to see how the rest of this story unfolds.

It continues the story of Jenny and Brian. As there relationship deepens their love for each other become more as well. Brian starts to experiment with her testing her limits for being dominated and tied up.
As well as their relationship things take a shocking turn for the worse when Jenny’s ex Ty is found murdered and all evidence points to Jenny being the killer. With so many lies and fabricated evidence no one knows who to trust.
This is a great follow up book the ending has me wanting to read the next book to find out what happens.

Via Mari has done it again with Bound, the second book, in the Torzial Affair series! This book picked right on up with where the first one left off, so I would highly recommend reading the first book, Shattered, before starting this one. We meet Jenny and Brian in the first book and learn their passion for each other as the story builds. Jenny has been hurt pretty badly in the past and Brian has not partaken in a committed relationship, until he met Jenny and still struggles to do so. Jenny is everything… brilliant, beautiful and feisty. She keeps her outward appearance calm, cool, and collected meanwhile on the inside, her life is being flipped upside down. She is fighting so many forces such as the mafia and the court system trying to convict her with the ruthless murder of her ex. Brian is used to being in control of all things around him. He is struggling with his newfound want to commit to Jenny while all of this chaotic mess is being thrown her way. He wants nothing more than to protect her even as he fears he may lose her. While Jenny is dealing with all things bad, Brian also has a few shocking things that come to light in his life. Situations arise where the trust between the two is questioned as they fight against each other and with each other for the outcome that they both want and desire. This book had so many scenes of action, passion, steam, and desire! There were so many times I felt as if I couldn’t read fast enough, just wanting to know what was going to happen. I felt all of the emotions of each character from love, lust, betrayal, fear, and panic. This is a must read book (after finishing book 1, of course) that will keep you on the very edge of your seat, trying to play detective and get to the bottom of things before the author reveals things herself.

Guilty Pleasures Volume 3: Guilty Pleasures by Joyce McCarthy
4 Stars
Oh Lord, Brad is back!! And Holy Hotness once again!
This was once again a quick read without a whole lot of heavy plot, so kind of a nice break from the heavy stories ive been reading lately.
This author definitely excels in this genre and has a no holds barred approach to the writing which makes it fun and quick.
Pick up this book or heck all 3 of the Guilty Pleasures books when you have time and want to read without the major twists and turns and emotions that come with other stories. These are all definitely over age 18 books so don’t leave them lying around LOL
I have been an avid fan of Sylvie Stewart’s books since her very first one. I have loved every single one of them and they keep getting better and better!
I loved just how Mac and Poppy were the perfect fit for one another. They were complete opposites but it worked so well that the match up complemented each other instead of feeling off. I loved the banter between the two and the chemistry that burned the pages.
To say I inhaled this book is a complete understatement. It was one of those books I wanted to savor and slow down but I kept telling myself “one more chapter” and suddenly it was 230am and the book was done. Definitely a 5 star read!

What will happen when the secrets come out? Can they make things work between the three of them?
Overall I really enjoyed this read. There was a great story line and it was hot and steamy. If you’re looking for a good MFM read you will enjoy this one. And I loved the Princess Bride quotes, loved it. 1-click and get started today.

Shattered (The Torzial Affair Book 1) by Via Mari is a book that I swear was glued to my hand until the very last page! I am new to this author and I have discovered that she is AMAZING!!! This is just book one of the three book series and I can’t wait to read the next 2!! The story has a way of drawing you in from the start and then holding you hostage on the edge of your seat, flipping pages like a mad person. The characters are charming, the story line is magnificent, and the writing was excellent. The main female character, Jenny Torzial, is a very successful business owner of a consulting agency. She is working through a break up with the man she thought would be her husband. The ending of their relationship was very terrible and troubling. She has been carrying around emotional scars and baggage ever since then. The main male character, Brian Carrington, is also a very successful and good looking business owner of the Carrington Steel Empire. Women throw themselves at him every chance they can because of the money and things he has to offer. However, Brian doesn’t do relationships or emotions… only one night stands. Their paths happen to cross at the wedding of mutual friends and things take off quickly. There are so many twist and turns in this story. There are some very erotic scenes, as well as many action packed scenes. Add this book to your reading list… you won’t be disappointed. *This book has some content that may trigger some readers.*

This story is an absolute hot, adventurous, steamy, well written, darn near perfect and exciting, story. Warren and his wife Athena are happily married with grown kids. Warren the ever perfect husband, lover and man in general, has a fantasy that he shares with Athena. A hotwife fantasy. I have heard of this in reality but haven’t read about it. WOW! And then “enters” Ramsey! The hot young guy at Athena’s office. It’s almost too easy for this couple. Of course they do come across a couple of bumps in the road because hey not everything is unicorns and rainbows! A fantastic read!
I can’t wait to read more by this author and even about the secondary characters.

Game Changer was another great read by Sylvie Stewart. I always enjoy picking up one of her new releases as I know that I am most definitely going to be in for a good read. I was easily lost in Ms Stewarts writing and I loved the characters Poppy and Mac. This really was a sweet read, it made me laugh and it definitely made my heart all warm and fuzzy. Poppy was such a wonderful character to read about her, I really admired her tenacity and I loved the quirky side to her personality. Mac was one of those characters that whilst I knew straight away that I was going to love him he made me work for it! I definitely had to get to know him! I loved reading their story and I think it is definitely one of my favourites of 2019! Game Changer was a fantastic 5 star read that I highly recommend!

This is an amazingly adorable story! The story…the characters are all great! I love how this reads! I really feel like I am in the head of a thirteen year old. And the interactions between Kyle and even his Dad are so spot on! Name calling, wrestling, frustration with the parent, mad scientists even the bullies at school..Perfect!
I loved Monty! He is what I think of when I think of a thirteen year old. Magic, skateboarding, pushing boundaries and a smart mouth. He struggles making friends after moving for the sixth time, now he is in a new town, old house with no friends. Then he decides to make one. Enter Houdini! Scary at first but they become best friends. I love all of the cool things that Houdini can do. He is a monster anyone could love.
All of the secondary characters were crazy good! From the mad scientist to his brother and even their dog. They did well adding to the story but not overstepping. I loved them all!
This is a wonderful story of family, dealing with your past, bullies and new friends. I really *felt* for Monty and even Houdini and let’s not forget Watson. This is a first time author for me. This caught my attention from the beginning. I devoured it pretty quickly. It brought me chuckles, smiles and frustration. It is easy to read and flows very nicely. I don’t want to forget the cute little “adds” at the beginning of every chapter! Loved them!

Legacy of Luck Druid’s Brooch Series #3 by Christy Nicholas is a historical fantasy that is full of magic and mystical creatures. The story is fraught with action and drama, adventure and mystery, and lets not forget the danger. All books in this series can be read as standalones. Having been to Ireland and Scotland I found it easy to travel to and imagine the vivid pictures that Christy was painting. I enjoyed this story but to me it was a little slower paced to begin with and took awhile for me to warm up to it. I felt the storyline of the Brooch was missing in this tale and I was a little unsure of some of the characters. There is a little twist towards the end that I did not see.
Travellers Eamonn and Kate are attending a horse fair with their families and Eamonn falls head over heels for Kate but she is forced into an arranged marriage. Thus becomes the journey to save her and have her for himself.
I have read most of the books in this series and am not sure what is left to read but I look forward to finding out.

5-stars
Sanctuary (Captivity Series Book 2) by Sarah Biglow & Molly Zenk was an excellent 5-star read. It was full of adventure and romance. This novel cannot be read as a standalone. It is an exciting addition to its series. Lorelei continues to be my favorite character but I did warm to Aiden more in this novel. I really felt that the two continued to grow and develop as characters in this novel. I loved that the group off odd balls became to see each other as a family as they traveled in search of Sanctuary. They developed deeper bonds. This was an easy, fast paced, and wonderful read. I highly recommend this second book and the series.

Game Changer by Sylvie Stewart is an opposites attract romantic comedy. This is not the first book I’ve read by this author and I was not disappointed.
Poppy leaves behind all expectations and heads to New York City. It seems like she may have left some of herself behind too as she tries to hide her southern accent. She thinks she needs to fit a New York City polished image. It isn’t until she meets Mac that everything she thought is turned upside down. Mac isn’t easy to get to know at first but Poppy realizes Mac might be the only one that understands.
Poppy and Mac’s story unfolds slowly but with a lot of laughs and a lot of feels. It doesn’t get better than that!

Sanctuary by Sarah Biglow and Molly Zenk is the second book in the Captivity series. I do not recommend reading this first please pick up book one first. This picks up where book one left us and it didn’t disappoint. This is a quick read that I did in one sitting because I just had to know where the story takes Lorelei and Aiden. This is an adventure where I was kept on my toes. There is suspense as well as a unique story. I can’t wait to get my hands on the next book in the series to see where these authors take me next. I really enjoy the quick pace and they don’t skimp on the plot within all the action.

“The Druid’s Brooch Series” is a a series of books that can be read as standalone stories. The common thread is a brooch that is passed on to family over the course of many generations.
LEGACY OF LUCK is not my favorite of the series. The descriptive writing had me fondly recalling my recent trip to Ireland, but I never connected with the characters.
This is on me, not the author. The story evolves slowly and there is a bit of repetition with events (or dice games) and circumstances. It is a fairly fast read and I will be putting this on my “to be read again list” to see if my opinion changes.

This is the third book of the series but is a standalone. I have enjoyed everyone of these novels they all are written beautifully. While I was reading this novel I felt like I was right there alongside the character’s and I could also visualise everything around them was an amazing experience. These novels aren’t usually my go to but I fully admit I enjoyed every second and cant wait to read more.

Phoebe Alexander is one author that comes to mind when I think of hot and sexy stories. Rule Breaker does not disappoint. Alexander has built up her books with confidence, building, and strong complex characters. I often feel like the characters can be close like friends in the “normal” life. Alexander brings out so many emotions within myself that I feel like I am in the story as well. The main theme of the story is about protecting loved ones. In this story Athena has a husband who recently retired and wants to bring another partner to their bed. Athena has a lot going on besides what her husband is asking of her. She is also trying to save a magazine business. There are rules out there to follow within the business world, relationships, and marital romance. Will Athena be able to figure out what to do? What rules are ok to break when others are not to be broken?

Game Changer is a standalone by Sylvie Stewart. I have read most of what she has written and as I love her way of sharing the Southern way of being with us then I was excited to pick up a copy of Game Changer and as usually, she didn’t disappoint! She gives us Poppy with her whole Southern family that cracks you up (I mean just picture Cookie and her B&B in the real world and you would get ready to make a booking and head down to Savannah on your next vacation), and then we have Mac, a beast of an Alpha that plays a totally different game … add to this mix New York and Poppy’s dream job and you are set for the whole weekend with that 412 page of goodness! You get everything you could imagine wanting – humour, friends, loving family and a genuine Southern Belle who will take on Fate any time!

Simply Irresistible: A Totally Sweet Love Story by Jennifer L. Allen 5 stars
I really loved this book! Two closet decade loving “nerds” meet and it all goes from there. I will say it read pretty fast and that was a sign of a great book. I loved how similar yet different these two were and how well they just meshed. Melanie, loved her. We’ve all been too nervous in certain situations but going to your boss with something so near and dear to her heart, I loved how that played out. And don’t forget Tyler, and his jerk of a boss.
This is a must read, I really enjoyed this and got some laughs too.
