The Nearness of You by K.G. Fletcher was so adorable. At first I kept thinking that it was a little far fetched that a regular plain Jane would meet a male model, but the story was beautifully written. It was like a fairytale movie and I was obsessed. David was thee perfect guy, thoughtful, caring, romantic and BRITISH! I really wish I had Lauren’s taste in clothing and music. Her old soul fit in perfectly with the story. The attention to the details of her dress, of the environments, of both characters was breathtaking. The author does an amazing job with her descriptions and making the reader feel like they are in the stories. I throughly enjoyed reading their love grow, they had an amazing connection. The story was a smooth and fast read. I read it in a day needing to know what would happen. I would love to read more about these characters or even of David’s sister and brother in law!

A great read about opposites. Lauren Rose is a talented singer living in Atlanta struggling to make it in the show business. One Friday night she performs in a hotel like any other night. But her life is changed forever when she meets supermodel David Randle at the gig and finds instant chemistry with him. Their passion blossoms while attending his sisters wedding, but when he returns to Britain, will their love survive the distance? A great read. Well developed plot with twists and turns. Well developed characters like Lauren doing what she loves despite the struggles or David drive for ambition but a kind heart underneath. Great cast of supporting characters like the colourful and wise Jordan or the sweet and supportive Catherine. I loved the use of music in the novel with the songs used and Laurens passion for music as a lovely touch. i also loved the use of the senses with taste and smell and touch in the breakfast place to make it feel as if you were actually there. i alos loved the scenes in the wedding full of life and people and also loved the use of opposites used throughout the novel which worked well to create contrasts. Overall, a great read and i would give it four stars.

5 Star Must Love Fashion ( Darling Cove Book 1) by Deborah Garland is the first book in her Darling Cove Series .Its a contemporary romance that will draw you in from the beginning and keeps your attention till the end. I like her style of writing she draws you in and keeps your attention from the beginning till the end.Get ready for a emotional rollercoaster ride at times. I’m usually not into reading about fashion but I’m glad I read this one ,its about so much more than fashion. Andrew has had a heartbreaking past and questions everything he has believed about being in a relationship and this is thanks to Gwen. Gwen is out to prove she has what it takes to promote the top brands.These two have chemistry but ddatina coworker is is big fat no no.Can these two have a relationship and not cost them their jobs? These two both pulled at my heart strings un different ways. This was a great start to what I’m going to say is going to be a Amazing Series. I highly recommend this book especially if you want to know what happens. I can’t wait to read the next book in this series.

The Nearness of You by K.G. Fletcher is another stunning and breathtaking romance that readers can immerse themselves in effortlessly and wholeheartedly.
I couldn’t help but love everything about Lauren and David. Lauren sang from her soul and David was her match. Their love was explosive and absorbing. Not everyone was happy about that and they found themselves facing impossible and heartbreaking situations. I was cheering for them to triumph over the odds stacked against them, because a chemistry such as theirs cannot be ignored or denied.
A love story of substance, complexity and thrilling passion. K. G. Fletcher is one seriously talented author and one of my most treasured discoveries. 5 stars.

My Hidden Life: Brothers of Camelot Prequel is the first book in The My Life series by Necie Navone. This is the second book I have read by Ms. Navone, and all I can say is keep them coming. I love the action and suspense that grabs you on the very first page. Alessandra is a wonderful character, who learns at a very young age, six, odd the dangers of being brought up as the princess of a crime family. The preparation her father sets for her to become head of the family leaves her well trading but very isolated. The rest of the characters in this book are amazingly detailed and varied. The writing just flows and I was surprised that before I knew it, it was over. Good thing is there is at least two more books in this series. I can’t wait to jump in and find out what Necie has in store for us next.

Siren Call (Eastern Shore Swingers Book 3) By Phoebe Alexander This book was a great read!! This is the third book in this series and can be read as a standalone. If you haven’t read the other books in this series after reading this book I’m sure you will want to. This is the story of Jessie and Sirena. There were a few issues brought up in this story that I thought was dealt with very well. There were some hot and sexy moments, some mystery, and some twists and turns. Both these women have some trust issues and I enjoyed the progression of their relationship. Once I picked up this book I could not put it down till I got to the end. The author is an amazing storyteller and I enjoy that the characters that are in the other books are brought into each story. I highly recommend this book.

Must Love Fashion by Deborah Garland is the first installment of the Darling Cove Series. This is a contemporary romance that was very entertaining from the beginning to the end. This is the story of Gwen Mallory and Andrew Morgan. Gwen was just hired to assist Andrew, which is the Brand Manager for Prada. Andrew is returning to work after the death of his wife and is having a hard time concentration on his PR duties and Gwen is not making it is any easier for him. Andrew is attracted to Gwen and didn’t think she could stir his feelings. Gwen is feisty and independent, her husband left her high and dry with a huge mortgage, which she needs to cover on her own. They both share pain and find they both have an instant chemistry, will they both be able to find happiness together? This is my first read by Deborah Garland and I truly enjoyed it. I look forward to reading the next book in this series.

This is my first book by this author and i enjoyed it from start to finish. This author has a great writing style that pulls you in and keeps you reading until the very last page. It was a lighthearted and easy to read romance. The main characters name is Rebecca. She had a huge blow/betrayal to her life when she finds her best friend and soon to be husband in bed together (and to think she saved herself for that jerk). Determined to get away from the heartache she starts driving. She doesn’t stop until her car gives out on her 10 hrs away from home. Being stuck with a broken down car, Rebecca is forced to rely on a man that offers to help her. In this major twist of events could she have found the one thing she needed? I also enjoyed all of the secondary characters in this book and loved the banter between the main characters. This may be my first book by this author but it will not be my last. Siren Call by Phoebe Alexander is book 3 in the Eastern Swingers Series. I have read the first two books prior and have loved this book just as much as the other two.
The author touched on all subjects when she wrote this series. Every book focuses on a different couple and their drama lol book 3 focuses on Jessie Martinez who is a local police officer working for OCPD. Jessie is also a member of the Swinger community and beings to The Factory. Jessie is friendly with the owners and workers there so it’s no surprise when she is asked to look into one of the members.
Sirena was most definitely not my favorite character. She held alot of secrets and Jessie seemed like she was going to get her heart broken throughout the entire book.
It turns out Sirena is not who everyone thought she was. She had a secret life no one knew about. What will happen when her secrets are found out? How will Jessie react?
I thought this book was well written and kept my attention from start to finish.
This book is part of a series but, can be read as a stand alone. However, I would recommend reading the series in order so you know who is with who and what they went through to be where they are.

I give The Fifth Knight: An Arthurian Legend Reverse Harem Romance (The Knights of Caerleon series Book 1) by Claire Luana & Jesikah Sundin, 5 stars.
Fionna will do anything to save her family. When she is sent to Caerleon to steal Excalibur, she accepts. She is a fierce warrior, she can handle it. But she does not expect the king and his knights to be so welcoming, and so sexy. But her family comes first. Although, the more she is around these men, the more she is accepted and feels comfortable. But she has to steal the sword, doesn’t she?
This takes the legend of King Aurthur and his knights and flips it into something you have never read before. There has been a lot of taking old fairytales and stories and rewriting them lately. But this book really stands out as something new and different. It takes some of the characters you know and makes a whole new story out of them. It is written so well, the two authors do a superb job of blending their skills into making this a fun and interesting book. I really like Fionna as a lead character and cannot wait to see where the next book takes her and her fellow knights.
I highly recommend this book to those who like fantasy with some reverse harem romance.

Plot Twist is the story of realizing that you can’t always stay in the background when you are meant to be out front.
Each of these stories made me smile and feel good about the characters (did I like each and every decision, of course not). I would absolutely recommend these books and this author.

Its the story of unassuming, sweet Lauren Rose a lounge singer looking to make it big. She leads the life of a everyday girl until she meets British Super Model David Randle who is in Atlanta for his sister’s wedding. Sparks fly immediately. The only problem is his assistant is not happy with David’s new love interest. It is taking time from his super crazy schedule. Will she be successful in breaking them up or will love win out. I fell in love with David and I could just hear his British accent in my head. I rooted for him and Lauren thru the whole story. It was a super fun read!

Redemption: An Ash Park Novel (Volume 5) by Meghan O’Flynn. I love these books. Its the continuing story of Investigator Petrosky and The Looking Glass Killer. He has promised to protect Hannah Montgomery who reminds him so much of his murdered daughter. He swears he will protect her if its the last thing he does. But when her father ends up murdered he has to wonder if its connected to The Looking Glass Killer. Petrosky is determined to keep Hannah safe and find his daughters killer at the same time. At this point in the series you feel like you can actually feel Petrosky’s pain because he feels like an old friend. This book will cause you to have nightmares but you will love it! They are very twisted and you think you know what’s going to happen next but its never quite what you thought.

What better way to spend a cold evening than with a cozy book by a new author? I went outside of my comfort genre and was pleasantly surprised. This book was very well written and I was very impressed with the author’s candor and the way she handled the subject matter. The story was gripping and had me not wanting to put the book down.
Yoko’s character really came to life for me in this book. I felt as though I was feeling the emotions as she experienced them. The drama that ensued in the beginning till the very end just brought this book to life for me. The chemistry between Yoko and Mark is really intense. I felt that the author really had a unique way of grabbing the reader and drawing them in. The way Yoko goes about getting her revenge is quite unique. I was at the edge of my seat not wanting to put the book down till I got to the end. I will definitely be reading more from this author.

Small Town Hero is the first book in the Small Town Brides series by Kim Koby. It’s a very sweet and heart-warming read that makes you feel all good inside. It’s the first book that I have read by this author and I’m sure I will read more. I devoured this whole book in one day. Rebecca is happily planning her wedding when she finds her fiancé in bed with her best friend. Still a virgin, Rebecca was saving herself for her wedding night. Devastated by her find, she drives off and keeps on driving. After driving for 10 hours she becomes stranded in Tennessee. Ryan is at the petrol station she is stranded at and offers to assist her by putting her up until her car is fixed. What follows is a lovely story of two people who are so drawn to one another. Both have been hurt by previous relationships and are not looking for a relationship, especially as they live 10 hour away from each other but can’t deny the spark between them. I loved these 2 characters and the interactions between them. I couldn’t help but hope that they would get their HEA. They certainly deserve one. I urge anyone who loves a good, sweet romance to read this book.

The Fifth Knight is the first book in The Knights of Caerleon Series by Claire Luana and Jesikah Sundin. Wow! What a fantastic collaboration this book has turned out to be. I am a big fan of Ms. Luana’s, but Ms. Sundin is a new-to-me author- but after reading this book, that’s something I plan on rectifying as soon as possible. These two authors really compliment each other’s style and this book reflects that in so many ways. From the fascinating and original storyline, to the polished writing, the brilliant world building, and wonderful characters- everything was really well thought out and developed, which made it all seem quite realistic and believable. It meshed so well, I certainly couldn’t tell which parts were written by whom. It all seemed to flow beautifully, a real credit to both their talents. This is a brilliant Arthurian fantasy- a reverse harem with plenty of swords and sorcery, magic, action, adventure, drama, revenge, plots, curses, the hand of fate, knights, Merlin, battles, suspense, spice, betrayal, hope, and surprises. King Arthur’s kingdom has been cursed, the fate of his realm looks dark. With Lancelot, Percival and Galahad by his side, their only hope is to find the fifth knight, foretold in prophecy to hold the power to break the curse. The very last thing they expected was to find the fifth knight, and find out that she is a woman… Fionna is a skilled warrior who is on a mission to save her family. She has her sights set on a magic sword, which leads her to Caerleon, Arthur and the knights. What ensues when she gets there and earns her place as a knight makes for an incredibly captivating story that I would definitely recommend to all fantasy, reverse harem, and Arthurian fans. I must admit when I first saw this book that I as a little worried that the whole reverse harem aspect of the story would overwhelm the fantasy/Arthurian side of the tale. But I needn’t have worried as Ms. Luana and Ms. Sundin wove a wonderful tapestry, where the reverse harem was just one element in an incredible, multi-layered story. I was pulled into the story and followed along cheering them on the whole way. There were times where things got quite complicated and difficult, which had me a little anxious to see how everything would work out. I read this book in an evening, just so I wouldn’t have to put it down. I love what these two wonderful authors have accomplished together, and I can not wait to read the rest of the series. Well done!

Beckoned, Part 5: Adrift In Costa Rica By Aviva Vaughn 5/5 Stars
I can’t even begin to tell you how much I LOVED the Beckoned series ! I enjoyed Angela and Soren’s love story from start to finish!! But I must admit something… I wasn’t too keen on Soren. I found him selfish and incredibly needy. But after reading this book, I saw him in a whole new light! Realizing you aren’t the person you want to be is a huge eye opener…Picking up and starting over is so scary, but yet so brave!! Soren , discovers himself in the proces… now that is growth! My favorite quote from the series so far is, “ The regret of missed opportunity .” It means a great deal to me. But I’m sure it means something different to everyone. I’m going to remember this quote for a long time!! Especially when I second guess a great opportunity!! Aviva has a way of writing , which will suck you in immediately! Her attention to details is phenomenal! And her characters … wow, so relatable and honest!! I highly recommended this entire series! Take the time to read it in proper order, you will not regret it!! I can’t wait to see where book six takes us!! I’m looking forward to seeing where Soren and Elena’s journey takes us this time!

I am glad that these books came in a set. They are definitely not meant to be read as standalones. The Alterations stories are imaginative and unusual. While I did find the premise of the trilogy intriguing, I had a challenge connecting with some of the characters. There were also some parts of the story that were a bit fuzzy and left me with questions. I think I enjoyed Ellen’s part of the story the most, and the latter part of Gigi’s story. Lilly was by far the main character that I couldn’t seem to get into. Overall, a good read.
Alterations-introduces you to the main characters (Gigi, Ellen, Lilly, Dr. Kite) and sets the foundation for the other two books.
Game Changer-After a disaster, Dr. Kite’s life takes an unexpected turn. The women are getting on with their lives as best they can.

I have absolutely fallen in love with this series. This is the prequel to the first book in the series but I read it after reading the first book and I felt like it gave me a bigger picture of the Brothers of Camelot. I literally couldn’t get enough of the first book and practically inhaled this one.
Alessandra was born into THE Italian crime family. She was treated like a princess from the minute she was born until her 6th birthday when everything changed in her life. She, then, started training vigorously in combat. This is something she must keep a secret of from the rest of the family. From the outside she looks like the Italian princess but her father has been training her in secret because he has a different path for her to follow.
As she gets old she feels less of a royal and more of a prisoner. She has questions and doubts about everything in her father’s business but has to stay vigilant 24/7 because of the dangers that surround her.
I loved learning about Alessandra and her past. It helped answer questions, but not all (I love the mystery about it). Superb writing and I’m dying to get my hands on the next installment!!!

What a story that Claire Luana and Jesikah Sundin has written!!! The Fifth Knight is in the fantasy genre. There are a couple of familiar names in this story, Arthur, Lancelot, Percivial, and Merlin. These men were waiting for the “fifth knight” that Merlin predicted but they did not except a woman name Fionna. She is a fierce warrior. Fionna is also a independent and stubborn woman. I think that they three personalities go together. She is there to steal a faerie sword from the king. Fionna is conflicted about what she is about to do to help her family. This story is very well written and Claire and Jesikah is perfecting the story line with the other books in this series.

Bree Kraemer’s Say When is the ninth book in the Cedarville series. This contemporary romance continues the amazing series the author has created. Say When is Dani and Patrick’s story, certainly one of my favorites that I have read. The sweet factory of this story cannot be denied, especially when there is a bakery involved. Change is a theme in this story which features old and new characters. How these characters interact was fun to read, even how they struggle to find their footings and grow at times. Even though there are limited pages in this story, it was a pleasurable read and a great addition to the series.

I loved this book! It is a dark story about an abused woman trying to find herself again. I loved how this author pulled me in right from the beginning and made me feel as if I was right there with Collie. She is my favorite and took me on an emotional roller coaster ride right along with her as she traveled on her journey. There are a few twists and turns that I didn’t see coming and left me turning pages faster. This is a fast paced story that I highly recommend you read.

5 Star Painting Kuwait Violet By Pamela Q. Fernandes is a coming of age book that I was drawn into and couldn’t put it down once I started reading. This book is about a woman who has taken a job as a maid in Kuwait to make money to pay for her mothers mortgage. But what she didn’t realize was she might have gotten more than she expected to. I love Violets character and her attitude, she doesn’t take anything from anyone. Ilook forward to reading more from this Author. I definitely recommend reading this book

Sitting here trying to find the words to describe the love I have for this book, and for this series, and most especially for this author. I saw this book and it was a no brainer, must have now and here I sit seriously wanting to go read it all over again, which leads me into my only negative for the story…It ended…
Yes I guess you could technically read this as a standalone but I can’t imagine not having all of the other stories to go with this amazingly awesome cast of characters…You truly have to start with Permanence of Pain although not listed as part of this series, it kind of is in my opinion then move on to Gabe then Dino and then…Jesse…I can not pick a favorite of any of these but Jesse was different, gave me that comfortable warm feeling while reading it.
Harlow surprised me in a good way. At first I thought she was going to follow the path of most damsels in distress and be all needy and weak…No No No….she was awesome!! There was just enough of everything in this story, the witty interaction between all of these characters and the families was perfect, and then the twists…I hadn’t even totally wrapped my mind around the first one before the second one blew me away.
I still just don’t have the words to give this author the justice she deserves for this addition to this amazing series…I’m not even playing when I say you have to read these books and I just know you will fall in love as I have.
I’m hoping with all I have that there’s more to come, whether it be new characters or just a whole book about the ones we already know and love…I don’t care, I just want more!!
Michael’s Heart by Lori Thomas Harrington is a beautiful contemporary romance story that is original, inspiring and thought provoking and will require tissues because it had me sobbing all over the place. Lori has written a story that will make you fall in love with all the amazing characters, especially Michael, and they will stay with you long after you have finished the book. The story is marvelously written and will take you on this magical journey that is both heartfelt and heartwarming and will reach all the way down to your soul. Michael’s Heart, for me, had all the markings for a movie, a great love story and a little bit of magic with a twist, what more do you need. This is a truly original and beautiful story that needs to be shared.

Burning Night By: Nikki Broadwell 5 out of 5 stars
The story Burning Night by Nikki Broadwell is a contemporary fiction book. It is a story that I enjoyed reading. It drew in my attention from the very beginning and I found myself turning pages to find out what happens next. I enjoyed reading about the character of Collie. She is a woman who is fleeing her home and abusive relationship. She is smart and is learning that she needs to take better care of herself by casting off the man and relationship that has given her low self-esteem. Collie is writing a book and I love how even with all that she goes through in the story that is something that she doesn’t waver in trying to complete. She keeps plugging away all throughout the book. There are parts of this book that have heartbreaking memories for Collie. There are also times when she is in need of rescue and it comes from an unlikely source. Collie learns of a festival called Burning Night. She decides that she wishes to go. Will she find her way there? Read this book to find out if Collie finds the happiness and freedom that she deserves. Also, find out if a relationship with a younger man is in her future or will the two of them go their separate ways. This story does have a bit of mystery and times of suspense when I would wonder what was going to happen next. There are events and twists to Collie’s life that I didn’t see coming. This is a wonderfully written story and one that I would recommend reading.

My Hidden Life: Brothers of Camelot Prequel is book one in the My Life series by Necie Navone. This author is one that captivates me more and more. Every book gets better, the characters get more adventurous, and the very essence of each story exhibits more heart and soul. But these stories aren’t for the faint of heart.
Alessandra is a princess of the Canzano family. It is the complete opposite of a normal princesses life. Fraught with crime, violence and bloodshed, Alessandra grows up quickly. She is wise beyond her year, street smart, and can take care of herself if necessary. But in saying that, there is an innocence that is endearing in its simplicity. Necie Nevone paints a girl who has heart, courage and a fierceness that she keeps hidden well, but it is there, nonetheless.
I have become a huge fan of this author, and a little obsessed with Alessandra and her evolving story. I cannot wait to find out what is up next for her. I know it will be a nail biter. 5 stars.

Colbie has a love of music, so much so that it affects her deeply and is a passion of hers. She is one of three that has qualified to win a contest that will give her money to fund a charity that she has created. After a bad accident Colbie ends up in surgery, while out she meets “the one” but he’s on the other side. She realizes that Michael is her soul mate and commits her heart to him.
It’s not what you look at, Love. It’s what you see.
As the story moves forward, Colbie gets a dream job of writing jingles for a TV company. She also meets Will and his daughter. These two end up becoming a big part of Colbie’s life and she starts to grow close to Will. But her heart belongs to Michael.
There is so much more to this great read. I was shocked to learn just who Michael was and there were several other twists and turns I didn’t see coming. I really liked all of the characters, they added a great element to the story. This story really makes you think about the other side and if we have someone watching over us. This was an emotional read, once I started I couldn’t put it down until I was done. This is my second read from Lori and I look forward to reading more. 1-click and get started today.
