This is a very cute story about a crab who is very playful, bullies and pinches his friends. The story conveys a strong message to the kids not to bully others and it is the kindness which is the basic foundation of friendship. The illustrations are very beautiful and characters are adorable. I loved all the characters, the crab, Gull, tortoise, fox. I overall enjoyed the book.

So, I haven’t read any of this series previously but I actually found it pretty easy to read and follow. This isn’t my usual genre to read either but I thought the synopsis sounded interesting so thought I would give it a try. I was really impressed with the authors writing style, his writing was very engaging and I know my attention was kept throughout. It was easy to read and was a perfect book for YA readers. There was quite a lot going on in the story, it was very fast paced and full of action but at the same time it wasn’t confusing and easy to follow. The characters are really interesting and I would certainly like to read the previous books in the story to find out more about them. Overall a really good read and one that I would highly recommend.

This was such a cute read for young children about how being nice to people means that you end up with far more friends around you and to make you feel happy. Cray was a little crab who liked to pinch his friends who often moved away when they saw him coming. Cray had to learn his lesson the hard way. I like how this story provides talking points for children about how they behave and what is nice and not so nice. The story had a lovely rhyme to it which is bound to capture children’s interest alongside some beautiful and colourful illustrations. A really lovely story that my 4 year old especially enjoyed!

This was such a lovely collection of short stories about Sasha and some of the things she comes across in her everyday life. I really liked the length of the stories, I can imagine children reading one each night before bed. Each one provides different opportunities for children to think about what they would do in Sasha’s position. There are some illustrations in the book to accompany each story but this book probably would be more suitable for children 7 and up I feel. Overall a lovely book of short stories that I would definitely recommend for young readers.
I’ve really enjoyed these longer length books from this author. I love the magic that comes through in this story as we go along with Craig, Linda and the Loch Ness Monster. With all the superstitions around the Loch Ness Monster and does it really exist I like that these books are opening up some magical and imaginative world underneath the loch where the monster lives. It’s great for getting children’s creativity and imaginations going. This was another great read. It was a lovely engaging story with nice illustrations to accompany.

This is book two to this series and I must tell you that if you are not a fan of violence, dark romance, dubcon, mature langue, sensitive content, adult situations, jealous/possessive themes, and the such then this book is NOT for you! If you can get passed that type of content, then check this dark romance out! This also can’t be read as a stand alone. You need to read the first book to fully understand where this one starts and is heading. So Ava is a prisoner. Kidnapped and trapped by Kingston for her brother’s debt (2.6 million). Instead of selling her to the highest bidder he has decided to keep her. She belongs to Kingston now and she rebels at almost every turn. Which makes him want to punish her and break her into submission. She craves his touch just as much as he wants to touch her, but the hate is clear in their eyes. He will have her break so he can put her back together again. All while she tries to win his heart so she can escape. Both falling but both don’t see the danger rushing towards them. This is a book about a villain and his captive. He always gets his way. But will he this time? Such a great story. I wasn’t prepared when I read the first one, but once I started this one I knew what kind of content to expect.

I was not prepared for this book at all. With that being said, it was wonderfully done!! If you can get passed that type on content then check this out! You might really enjoy it. This book is all about the villain getting what he wants. Which was a great twist really! Kingston is a bully. He gets what he wants or he takes it by force. He protects what is his. He’s a business man kingpin. Ava is a sweet little lamb. So naïve and pure. Ava’s brother unfortunately owes Kingston money. A LOT of money. 2.6 million to be exact! Due to this he has Ava kidnapped and he plans on selling her to highest bidder, if her brother doesn’t pay up. He wants to break her and have her submit to everything he wants, but she’s got a wild-fire streak. He can’t wait to snuff it out while he takes her to new places she’s never even dreamt of. This is just book one to the story and man oh man is it steamy! You can’t help but love AND hate these characters for various reasons. You will want book two asap after reading this one. Trust me! I grabbed them both and can’t wait to read more!!

Cutter is always in the cross hairs of the law, they deem him trouble and he lives up to the reputation but he is unprepared when sitting in the integration room and in walks the woman of his dreams, but when she asks him for a favour all he can dream about is the reward he may get from her.
This is not the first book I read by this author and it definitely not the last, this story is more than just BDSM and role play but it gets into the two main characters flaws and quirks and how there past played a part in the future for them.
This story is full of twists and turns and is well written, with the elements of the chemistry which flies off the page and is great to watch the relationship development and explore the world of DD/LG which was interesting to read as I had not really read much in the way of this Dom/Sub role before.
I really enjoyed the book and can’t wait to read more by this author in the future.

Fade into the Night (Philly Heat Series book 5) is Romance Suspense that will have you turning the pages till the end. This is packed with action, suspense, mystery, secrets, lies and so much more. The twists and turns had me on the edge of my seat trying to piece everything together. The characters are fully developed and complex. Noah and Sadie ,he’s after a killer who has hurt someone and Noah is trying to keep her safe and hopefully catch him before anything else happens . I don’t want to give away anything. I highly recommend reading this book to find out what happens next. I promise it’ll be worth the read. I look forward to reading more from this Author.

What a perfect time for this book to be released! This was a spicy and romantic MMF story with real characters with real problems. I loved this book and could not put it down! Do not let the cute puppies on the cover deceive you. I will definitely read some more from this author going forward.

After reading the prequel novella, I was very intrigued to read more about Riley and Cole. This series is a quick read and very interesting. I would strongly encourage reading the prequel (Savage Start) before reading this book. It will provide so many details and background information about the significance of the interactions between Riley and Cole, the dynamics between Cole, Damon and their dad, and the story of what happened to Cole’s mother. Isla Vaughn does a great job of developing the characters and all the quirks and nuances of a story about high school students. I really liked all the layers of the story – Riley and her mom; Cole, Damon and their father; Cole and Damon’s cousins and their need to work hard to earn football scholarships and how Cole and Damon can help them; the elite clique of boys and girls at girl; and the connection between Cole and Riley. This was a good read and I look forward to reading more in the series.

This was a cute 5 star read. Miller and Maisy’s story pulled me right in. I had several LOL moments with these two. Miller ends up helping Maisy out of a not so great situation. An attraction of course is there and starts to build. Can Maisy break through Miller’s walls and get a HEA? I have to say I really enjoyed this read. It was nice seeing characters from previous books. There was one character that stole the show a few times and had me LOL. The author does a great job of pulling you in with her writing. Kingdom of 7 Sovereigns: Wolf is Book 1 in this series and can I say I LOVED this story. I was first drawn the beautiful cover and intrigued by the story-line….this gave me all that I love with a Fantasy YA Romance story. This is a new author to me and I am feeling already invested to see where this series of magic, shifters, fated mates, drama, angst, hidden agendas and some romance will take me. This story has multiple POVs , and this really brought the story together.
What are the chances of a strong princess in Amelia and a wolf shifter, Dane could be fated mates? It is true and Amelia at first wants no parts of having an arrangement of marriage that serves value to her people…she wants to make her own choices. Prince Dane of Carpathia is trying with is every being to accept what his fate is with a treaty that his father has in store for him and also a marriage arrangement with Princess Amelia. Prince Dane is trying to get to know Amelia slowly, especially through Amelia’s cousin, Cora…but his patience is wearing thin to where it is very frustrating. With a necromancer’s daughter, Kessera, with a mist of chaos and her own agenda, Prince Dane and Princess Amelia must try to work together for the greater good…but with vampires, goblins and attacks happening at the castle…will Prince Dane be able to be there for Princess Amelia……….and will the princess finally be able to break down her wall around her heart and give Prince Dane a chance….

Portrait of Deception is a fast paced, action packed, suspense filled thriller that will keep you on the edge of your seat until the final pages. The story centers around the character of a photographer named Margo who has been nominated for a prestigious award. If she wins the coveted Butler Prize it will not only help her financially but most of all it will open numerous doors for her and launch her career as a professional photographer. On the day of the award ceremony, Margo awakens in her motel room and discovers that it has been trashed and she must pay the hotel $46,000 in damages. Margo has no recollection of the night before because she blacked out. She was on her way back to her room with a fellow photographer who was also nominated for the prize and vaguely recalls seeing glimpses of faces of people she did not recognize. The rest of the night is a blank and she feels that she must have been drugged. Margo not only has to pay the hotel damages, but the Butler Prize Committee found out about damages to her room, and she is taken out of the running for the prize. Margo is horrified, shocked, and saddened that she now has this reputation and must find a way to salvage what is left of both her career and her reputation. This was a gripping story with an intriguing storyline, well developed characters, and twists and turns that fully immerse you into the story. I immediately felt a connection to Margo because she is smart, feisty, determined, and courageous. As a photographer myself, I loved that she is a photographer and was really drawn into the scenes through the author’s vivid descriptions. I found myself wanting to stand alongside Margo and photograph the magic and beauty of the setting sun in the park, the old part of the city, and the graffiti. I must add that I loved the cover for this book! It captured my attention and had me picking up the book to read and I am so glad that I did.

I was happy to see a new book by Brooke May was out and couldn’t wait to get it in my hot little hands. There is not one book that Brooke has written that I have not loved. I like that she writes several genres and always comes up with a good storyline but paranormal is my first love. Resisting Nature is a paranormal romance tale in the Powder River Pack series. Make sure you read them in order, or you are missing out on all this alpha goodness. With fated mates and alpha shifters, werewolves, love, action, drama, passion, heartache, pain, hope, secrets, longing and more. This is my favourite book to date and love the characters that are a part of this world. They are interesting and well developed and it’s hard not to like them. There are also times where you find yourself laughing as well. Alexa is trying to start over and move on from the mess that was her life. She wants a peaceful life, a good life only if the past stays in the past. Is l ready to let someone in? Could she truly be happy? Miles has never been one to have control when he sees something he wants. S is more than something he wants she is his fated one. He will make sure all she sees is him. He finds the one thing that will make his life complete, but will she accept him or will her past keep them apart? If you love paranormal romances, then you will need to grab a copy and enjoy.

I had really high expectations for this book as I love the MC genre but I had trouble falling in love with this one. At times the characters were a little confusing and I never felt like I had my hook where I just lost myself completely. This was my first go with this author so I am willing to try more and see if the spark comes!

What a fast and enjoyable read! It drew me right in and instantly fell in love with it. The characters, the push and pull, the story alone, loved it all. I honestly wasn’t expecting on loving it as much i do. Highly suggest this!

This was really an inspirational book. I really think many young girls can relate to Sasha and the many real life situations explored in this book. The stories described real issues that young girls and boys deal with daily in their journey as they are growing up and in school. It also offered real solutions that every child can put into action to resolve the issues if they are facing it. I recommend this book to every young girl who needs help navigating the real world.
A Heart So Savage is a continuation from book one in April Moran’s Savage Duet and should really be read second (in order). The first book ended on a cliff hanger so that A Heart So Savage could pick up where we left off. I was lucky to find this duet when both books had already been released so it was a very smooth read and I was invested immediately. I liked A Heart So Savage even more than book one, it was pulse racing and filled with a lot of entertainment, especially after the “introductions” were long out of the way. The characters are as dark and steamy as the storyline and April Moran writes dark romance well! I hope to read more in the future.

Hayden is out checking the ranch perimeters when he’s shot , there’s a blizzard on the way and home is far away especially in his injured state thank goodness for Gunner his trustworthy horse that gets him to safety , one of the rental cabins …..
Ruby is on the run and is hiding in a remote place , she can hear , breathe and heal she can also think of her next move , she’s just made a fire to warm her rental cabin when she sees a horse and a man slumped over in his saddle …..
Despite her fear she brings him in , he’s bleeding and has been shot after all she can’t just leave him and there I know she’s a survivor because despite her fear of her past she doesn’t hide away she takes the bull by the horns , you go girl !
Ruby and Hayden find their rhythm while she’s nursing him and like Ruby I love his milk drinking ways 😉 Hayden realises she’s on the run and being confined they start sharing with each other and there’s an undeniable chemistry between then and Hayden is a saint in so many ways , he’s gentle , patient , kind and caring but he’s also protective and when her past comes knocking on the door , things get scary but Hayden and his family are there and Ruby is enveloped within their family …..
This was a read that my heart didn’t even know it needed and the cherry on top was my milk drinking cowboy 🤠 loved every page and Ruby deserves the peace that Hayden brings to her 🥰

BEAUTIFULLY ILLUSTRATED. This was a new author for me and love the rhyming makes things so much easier for young kids to follow along with and helps in their learning journey of becoming strong independent readers. While I understand the underlying meaning of its better to be friendly than to be a bully the story made it slightly confusing. It took Cray, losing a limb essentially to be nice and stop bullying. He didn’t apologize or anything, just all the other characters came to comfort and support him after to start a new beginning. Now the second meaning that after something bad something good is coming your way I love this, and it is so easy society today, it’s often hard to see an upside or positives out of something bad. I look forward to seeing what adventure little Cray will get into next.
