So, I haven’t read any of this series previously but I actually found it pretty easy to read and follow. This isn’t my usual genre to read either but I thought the synopsis sounded interesting so thought I would give it a try. I was really impressed with the authors writing style, his writing was very engaging and I know my attention was kept throughout. It was easy to read and was a perfect book for YA readers. There was quite a lot going on in the story, it was very fast paced and full of action but at the same time it wasn’t confusing and easy to follow. The characters are really interesting and I would certainly like to read the previous books in the story to find out more about them.
Overall a really good read and one that I would highly recommend.
