I was hooked on this book from the second chapter. I couldn’t put it down. This is a mystery that doesn’t disappoint. Each chapter gives more and more information, leaving you to try and figure out the true story behind this diamond. I loved the main character, Mimi, she was smart and sassy and even though her confidence wavered in the beginning she developed a little more chapter by chapter. This was my first read from this author but it will not be my last.

Grave Digger Academy IV (Grave Digger Academy Series) by C.A. King. This is the next fun installment in the Grave Digger Academy and it picks up the summer before school is about to start. The old headmistress has left and the new one is Ulva Everbleed. The building is half finished because the Crones shut down construction. The only way you can go back to school is if you received a letter. Makayla is excited to get a letter but when she sees her friends they ignore her. There are lots of changes this year, new headmistress, new teachers and new students. She doesn’t know who she can trust. Everything seems to be weird and unpredictable. Some people have disappeared and some are acting strange. Makayla is being watched at everything she does and she can’t have her helpers this year. This book is full of death, witches, paranormal, magic and mystery. Another great installment but I do recommend you read them in order.

This is the second installment in the JJ Morris series and I definitely suggest reading them in order so you aren’t missing any details. Dreamscape is a YA paranormal mystery filled with suspense, danger, and action; however, older audiences will enjoy the twists and turns as well. I really could not see where this story was going because Sheats had me guessing until the very end. I absolutely adore Joey and the way the author develops her throughout the story *chef’s kiss*. I cannot wait for book 3 to come out!
This is a fun quick cozy murder mystery. I didn’t realise this book is the fourth in a series but I enjoyed it anyway, so you don’t necessarily have to read the rest of the series first. I find the cozy murder genre to be a bit of a comfort read type but this was made better by the fact that the characters are quirky rather than smart. Every page leaves you hanging and you just can’t put the book down. I love an escapist read and this gives in spades.

This is an amazing dark read romance. I am such a huge fan of this genre that I couldn’t wait to get started on this book. I was not disappointed. The way the book is written, you can’t help but fall in love with the characters and yes that even includes the villain. This book has everything from the bad boy anti-hero to the horrible past but very resilient and strong girl. The crazy brother thrown in makes for an entertaining story. There is one flaw in the book but it didn’t dismiss from the story or how quickly I read it. The flaw is that sometimes the leading female doesn’t know when to stop “poking the hornets nest,” so to say. She seems to be a little naive to the situation that she is in and can’t quite control what comes out of her mouth. It was a little off putting at first but the further I read the more endearing it became. This was a fast paced read for me because it has everything that I love. The suspense, romance, drama, violence, morally grey lines being tested, and wonderful character development. I was able to escape my everyday surrounding for a few hours while I got lost in this book. I can’t wait to read the second part of this duet. Detective Dylan and the Case of the Missing Mail (A Youth Sleuths Chapter Book Series) is a super fun adventure aimed for children ages 5-8. My son is almost six and in kindergarten and just learning to read so it was fun for both of us. The illustrations were fun and helped bring the story to life. We read a little at a time but you could probably finish it in on sitting. This is a fun adventure about Dylan and the missing mail. Detective Dylan and his sister follow all the clues as they try to solve the mystery of the missing mail. I highly recommend reading this book to find out if they solve the mystery of the missing mail. My son and I are looking forward to reading more from this Author.

His obsession maybe the thing that breaks him.
This is the first book by this author I have read and I really enjoy the story and the characters. Kingston is a Alpha character who you at first hate as he shows no redeeming qualities at all, but as you read through the story there are snippets of the person he is with Ava, he shows some compassion and you can see his idea of love.
I love a strong female character in a story especially when you think she will be a whimpering female in distress but she gave Kingston as good as he gets with her fire and determination. The story was well written and developed and the main characters had all the angst of a good dark romance, the secondary characters gave the story another depth to the story.
I can’t wait to read part 2 and see what happens to these two broken characters and can they make it work between them.

This was another really interesting read from this author. I have read her work previously and this book definitely did not disappoint. Seeing Andrea go through this journey and getting to see Coyote again was wonderful to get to read. I loved how the author built their relationship and how they went on their journey through her life. The author does an amazing job of weaving the stories of Andrea life in these short stories. She is such a descriptive and detailed writer, she really makes you see and feel the stories. I absolutely recommend this story and her other works!

This one was was no different🥰 I feel like I always learn something from reading them🤣 me a old lady learning something new. Also like what she did to the words to make them stand out more. The Fact that starlings can mimic cell phones is pretty cool lol. I look forward to more from this fantastic author 🥰
This was a quick, easy read full of Stockholm Syndrome with some light spice and action scattered throughout. That being said, it was pretty dang good! I couldn’t put the book down and read it in one sitting, completely enamored with the characters and the story. I was hoping it was a stand alone, but I guess I’ll just have to add another book to my endless TBR and pre-orders. Highly recommend!

This book started off strong and maintained the strength throughout out. Emotional and hot are the first two words that come to mind when I think of this book.
I’m currently on a stronger than the average women main characters kick and Lela is definitely one of those women. She dealt with tragedy at a young age more than once in a short period of time started the foundation add in a difficult father it helps build it up.
Hamish dealt with a horrible tragedy a few years back, and built a wall around his heart. That is until he meets Lela at the airport in Malta.
I haven’t traveled much in my life so I love it when I get to go to locations I might not even consider and accentuate these gems.
I love the depth Ms. Raines provides in her characters and the way she builds the story around them. Looking forward to reading future books by her.

I did not want this book to end. It took a minute to grab me but once it did I had a hard time putting it down. Every one of the main characters weasel their way into my heart. Especially the boys.
Jamaica, a strong independent woman who will not accept anything but the best when it comes to her and her grade, she isn’t going to allow anything to lead her astray from her goals.
Callahan, star Tight End for the football team, definitely got Travis Kelse vibes from him which may have made me like him a little more. He’s arrogant, but not in a jerky way and determined to get the girl.
As important as Jamaica and Callahan are, the co-stars add almost as much. Axel was quite instrumental in helping his friend get out of her own way and quite entertaining along with Chessly and the boys in the football house.
I am not one to read the sneak peeks at the end, but I did this time and I can’t wait for Bax to find his heart.

Both Jade and Naseer are dealing with grief (albeit in their own ways) when their paths cross in a bar. Jade seems to be the bright spot that Naseer is missing in his life. However, she is the girl from the wrong side of the tracks and he is the older man with his future planned out for him. Everyone seems to be against them…so is there even a chance that their relationship could survive?
This story starts of a tad slow. But, once they meet…it takes off from there. It is a good against the odds story…but it is filled with grief and trauma, humor and love, and some angst and drama. It does end with a cliffhanger….so I will be checking out what happens next!
I enjoy this author but To Catch an Elf wasn’t one of my favorites. I wasn’t sure what was going on at first, which made it hard to push forward but I did. It got better and the romance was definitely exciting. That part of the story was written and developed well. Once I figured out what was going on, the growth of the villain in this story was interesting. He definitely escalated quicker than expected which made the story seem a little rushed. Overall it wasn’t my cup of tea but that doesn’t mean it wouldn’t be yours. It doesn’t take away from what the author presented or even how I feel about this author. The romance was great, the crazy stalker for me needed better development. Marcie jumps from house to house. House/pet sitting. She has no family and a small group of friends in her home port of Ohio, but she has no real roots anywhere. When she took this job in the Poconos she never expected it would change her life in so many ways. Ted is getting ready to settle down and get on with life, after retiring from the air force. He starts by buying a house in the Poconos, not a permanent residence but it’s a start. Him and his dog Ace come across this beautiful girl Marcie and that was all she wrote. He wanted to get to know her. Which is exactly what he did! Can he get her to settle down? How does he handle her being in danger? Many questions. Most of them answered. Again the author presented an interesting story. Which had its ups and downs. I loved the Ted and Marcie dynamic. It was the danger lurking that could’ve been better polished. If you like a great love with a little danger, that includes ex-military. Jump on in! I’m going to look for the next book by this author.
What a wonderful crime solving book this one was. Seriously finished in a day because I could not put it down. I love how the author makes you feel like you are watching this all play out as though it was a movie.
Jake is a former Marine that has a beloved K9 Cody that helps keep America safe! Jake and Cody are tasked with finding and stopping the distribution of a drug that will cause devastation in mass numbers.
All the while his girl friend Sarah is fighting her own battle as well. Along with some of his close “familia”. The question remains will Jake be able to solve this puzzle before it’s too late or can he stop the destruction from becoming worse?
This is not my first book by this author and it won’t be my last. I love the way it’s written with the military aspect still heavily in there. I look forward to more from this author!

If you haven’t read The Antipodes Series or the first book in The Latitude Series I highly recommend you do so. It has been a little while since I read the other books so I had to skim through to brush up on some information. The books all follow the events of the previous books and skipping them means missing important information. The same wonderfully realistic and believable characters return. I could feel the love between Caitlin and Gio, the emotions tangible throughout the entirety of Orenda. T. S. Simons uses the same amazing, descriptive writing I’ve come to expect from her. The whole dystopian world is almost eerily realistic in the fact that challenges, drama, and tragedy mimic our own. I also love how Simons incorporates different beliefs into her writing. I cannot wait to read more!

5/5 stars What a cute book! It’s not too complex for younger readers but intriguing enough to keep their attention. This author does a really cool thing in the book and that’s adding an educational portion at the end.
As with every installment in The Echo Series, you are in for a sweet happily ever after. But the journey that the couple takes to get there is where all the fun is. Lina and Curtis’ love story is just as sweet as all of the installments, and they definitely have the strangest meet cute I’ve ever read. But it all works out.

This was a good 4 star read. We not only get a holiday romantic suspense but we get so much more. This is Marcie and Ted’s story. Marcie is a house sitter and her new job is definitely interesting. There is a strange antique elf that gave me creepy vibes. Marcie befriends Ted, a neighbor they seem to have a really good connection. Weird things start to happen, and when Ted gets back from a family wedding Marcie is gone. What happened to her? WIll he be able to find her? I enjoyed this second-chance romance. The two main characters loved each other in college and a misunderstanding leads to Lauren running and changing her life without an explanation. The author did an amazing job with her character development and the pacing throughout the book.
