This may have been a quick read but it still gave me all the feels. The characters were so easy to connect with which can sometimes be difficult to pull through in a quick read. This author however did a great job of doing just that. You get completely pulled into their world and can’t wait to see what happens next. I believe this is a first for me from this author and I’ll definitely be looking for more. It’s well written and paced at a nice speed. Four stars and highly recommended!

If you love story telling, affection, love, raw emotion, and endless entertainment then this is the book for you! This is a male/male romance story, and certainly ensnares you from the very beginning. The characters, the storyline, the realness – it all plays a part in the commanding need to complete the book in one sitting. You will read through betrayal, heartache, loneliness, and desperation; but even with all of that, the rawness, the realness, and the fact that the story can resonate with most readers is what continues to pull you thru the book. I cannot wait to read the next installment of this series!
Truly Unfortunate is a wonderfully dark paranormal thriller and is the first book in the Welcome to Knollville series. I love a good supernatural story and this superb book definitely delivers on all fronts and certainly does not disappoint. I enjoy reading refreshing and original concepts by C.A and that you never know where she will take you. C.A. King is one of my favourite authors. The story and plot is well thought out and comes at your thick and fast and you will find yourself cursing because it will be over far too fast. I liked that the story was unpredictable and I love a good guessing game when it comes to books. This imaginative, creative, unique and well written story has mystery, suspense, action, drama, and psychological elements that will keep you on your toes. I don’t want to give anything away as you need to discover this tale all on your own. Prepare to be surprised. I am looking forward to reading the other books in what promises to be dark and intriguing stories in this series.

Punk is the sixth gripping book in the Popov Bratva series. It is a steamy Mafia age gap older woman/younger man tale. I am addicted to Leslie Georgeson stories and this genre she does so well. They are dark and twisted with compelling and complex characters. The Popov Bratva series has everything you could want and then some. There is intrigue, suspense, passion, angst, lies, deceit, secrets, betrayal, kidnapping, cheating, steam, turmoil, revenge, action, danger and violence. What a rollercoaster ride Punk is. It is a twisted and dark Mafia story that will have you are on the edge of your seat. Efrem finally gets his story. He is a tortured soul with dark secrets. He lives in the dark earning his signature name PUNK. Hoping to make up for his dark and sordid past. She is suffering through a divorce and wants nothing but a good life for her daughter. There is one thing she wants just as much and that is to find the man, she believes destroyed her family. The chemistry is off the charts between these two, and there is an instant connection, but she has reservations due to the 10-year age gap. All he must do is convince her they are right for each other regardless of a number. Make sure you read these epic books in order you will not be disappointed.

This book is not only an intriguing fairy tale, but the historical aspects make it that much better. A Cinderella-esque tale set in 1876 Philadelphia, we see Benjamin’s and Ellie’s worlds collide, and he helps her to unveil the truth that has plagued her and her father for seven years. This action-packed story will have you hooked until the very end and wanting more. On their adventures, Ben and Ellie encounter 19th century United States, and the reader is along for quite a ride. This is the first book I’ve read by this author, and I appreciate the thoroughly-researched setting and landmarks. I will absolutely be looking for more from this author, and I recommend this book to anyone who wants a cozy, action-packed, can’t-put-down read!

Once again, the author has created vivid imagery of both the scenery and the characters. I found myself picturing each scene with ease and feeling like I had stepped into the story to join them. The writing style used was smooth and flowed very well, making the experience more enjoyable.
I must say that the fake relationship books are up there in my favourites so I was already loving this book before even properly starting!
I loved Rowan and Chris; they had such chemistry! I was most certainly rooting for them all the way through reading. I enjoyed reading about the inn and seeing Rowan and Chris work together and the attempts to remain profession were so sweet. I didn’t have a favourite as I loved both Rowan and Chris equally, they both were strong individual characters.
I found this book the most heart-warming and my favourite so far in the series! I will be looking out for mor by this author.

With the 3rd book in this series I still very much enjoy this Mafia world. This can still be read as a stand alone but does pick up where book 2 leaves off.
Izzy is a strong independent woman who meets her match in Lorenzo. He takes one look at her and knows he’s in trouble.
There is still a bit of a repetition in the writing that still bothers me and it was missing some of the emotion for me the other 2 books brought but it was still a quick enjoyable read.

4.5 stars Stars Like Gasoline is my first introduction to Jessika and her unique way of telling a story. I have never read anything by this author before and I was delightfully surprised. She has cleverly orchestrated a cast of well-developed characters in a tale that will have you checking dark corners as the chills as thrills intensify your senses. What makes Stars Like Gasoline so encompassing is that it has multi-faceted complex plots and storylines. They are carefully woven together to give us the right amount of mystery, intrigue, suspense and some paranormal elements. The characters are just as equally complex and fully realised and delightful. Ghostly encounters, missing artists, an international art scandal, romance, and a stalker and so much more Celia loves her job is an art curator for a museum where she suddenly finds herself thrust into the underbelly of fine art and the art world. It is interesting to read about each painting and piece of sculpture as Jessika’s passion and vivid descriptions brings them to life and makes it hard to believe they aren’t real. I love to watch the British TV show Fake Or Fortune where owners find out if the piece of art they have procured is a real piece by the artist or a fake. It made this story much more relatable and real. The story is beautifully written despite the spine-tingling ghostly encounters that haunt Celia. leaves us feeling as if the characters will invite us into their home for fine wine, good conversation and a few extra secrets after turning the last page. If you love a good mystery, ghosts, with a sweet romantic tale then you will love Stars Like Gasoline.
Two wounded soul’s one fake relationship…… Hero Complex is the third book in Isobel’s contemporary romance series Bluestone. It is a fun read that will have you laughing at times. I think Bluestone may just be a place to be. I really enjoy Isobel’s simplistic way of storytelling. It makes it easy to fall into the story and lose yourself for a while. Ivy needs a fiancée, and he is up to the challenge, but his hero complex is getting on her last nerve. She is perfectly capable of looking out for herself. Ace is battle weary and scared in more ways than one. He certainly is not good enough for his fake fiancée. It’s in his nature to protect. Will they be able to pull of the relationship of a lifetime or will hearts be further broken? This small-town romance has something for everyone who loves a romance with sexy cowgirls and cowboys. I fell in love with Ivy and Ace as much as I did their world of wide-open spaces. I look forward to reading more from Isobel.

Calliope has had some trauma in her past which throws a spanner in the works for the budding relationship between her and Brandon, however the development she goes through shows how strong she is. Brandon also experiences some character development and I love his character a lot, but Calliope’s resilience and strength make her my favourite.
Please be aware domestic violence is addressed in this book, but it is not graphic. I would still advise anyone who is affected by this topic to consider this prior to reading.

This is the first book in The Echo series, and I was not disappointed.
The author created vivid imagery of both the world surrounding the characters, as well as the characters themselves. I could picture each scene with ease and almost felt as it I had stepped into the story to join them. The writing style used was smooth and flowed very well, making the experience more enjoyable.
Dean and Rae are both very stubborn and combined with their past experiences leading to trust issues, leads to obstacles in their growing attraction. Both showed development at times, moving forwards toward each other, but only one at a time causing the other to drawback. This is one of the reasons that the character felt more real, they’re flawed and their responses to obstacles (e.g. the pulling back) felt believable.
My favourite character was Rae; she possesses patience while still knowing her worth. This combined wither her confidence and independence makes me wish I had half of her personality.
In the next books of the series, I hope that we learn more about the ‘supporting’ characters as the series progresses. I can’t wait to get my hands on the next book.

Last king Is book one in the Legacy of Riverfall Series. This is not the first book that I have read by this Author, and I knew once I seen this book that I had to give it a try and let me tell you I’m so glad that I did. I loved the first book in this series all the Paranormal and Action and eeekk I could keep going, right from the get-go this read held my attention and I could not stop reading. I really enjoyed Maren’s Character and the way she cared for her sister and I just really enjoyed reading about her. If you like fast paced easy to follow Fae, Romance, Paranormal I highly suggest this book you will not regret this read. I look forward to reading the other books in this series. This book was sooo good and suspenseful. Books that feature ghosts / spirits are not normally my cup of tea but something about this book called to me and I decided to give it a try. I am so very glad I did. Celia buys a house that once belonged to her brother’s fiance. What she doesn’t buy is everything that comes with the house. And by that I mean the spirits and the chaos that ensues. On top of the spirits in the house there is a stalker and a police department that is less than helpful. What ends up is a fantastic book that I definitely did not want to end. I recommend picking this one up as it is so well written and enchanting.

Reign: The Rise of the Lich was well written. I do suggest reading the first book first or you will be confused. The world building and characters was well thought out! If you enjoy a good fantasy book, then this book is for you. I recently found a love for shifter books, but this one was different from what I’m used to. It was a great shifting book.

This book has to be one of my favorites written by Lois Wickstrom! The pictures are bright and colorful. I love how the pictures go with the words on the page. This book was about a blind girl who wanted to know what a monster was like. Her sister used her senses to describe it to her. I thought this was a great idea for teaching kids how to use their senses without eyes!

Kaela Morrow is a young woman with a bit of an overprotective father, but she is determined to live her life on her own terms by living alone, spending time with her best friend and studying, all while working part time, but all that changes one night when Kaela is attacked, but thankfully for her, there is someone nearby who comes to her rescue. Terran Montgomery is just finishing work when he hears a scream, he has no idea what he is about to run into, but he cannot just stand by and let something bad happen to someone, so he takes matters into his own hands and rescues Kaela, however, he does not escaped unharmed and Kaela is worried that her saviour might be in danger of losing his life, so despite knowing that she shouldn’t, she uses her inner light to heal him.
The next morning, Terran and Kaela realise that they both have something to hide and that the other is now in full knowledge of both of their situations, so albeit scared and uncomfortable they decide to keep the secrets they have discovered close to their chests and hope that their paths do not cross again, but if she needs him, he will do everything he can to keep her safe. While Kaela tries to come to terms with everything that happens, she has to again call on Terran for help, however, while this is going on, they cross paths with Seth Lazarus, a man who has seen a lot and been alive for a long time, he is an immortal and one of the few of his kind left, however, as soon as he senses Kaela, he realises that she is another of his kind, but that she is a new born and that is a rare thing which needs to be celebrated. He introduces himself to her and makes her acquaintance, but it soon becomes clear that she has no knowledge of her special status, so he decides to keep an eye on her, especially when he hears what has happened to her recently, but he is in no position as of yet to do this.
As time passes, Kaela is hoping that all the drama is blowing over, but when she is attacked again, Seth decides it is his time to step in and offer her a safe haven, with a job and place to lay low included, Kaela again reluctantly agrees, but still wants to maintain contact with Terran, this is not what either Seth or Terran would prefer, but they agree it is probably the best path to take. Will Terran and Seth be able to keep Kaela safe when trust is not something which comes to any of them easily, or will the danger which surrounds them be too much to overcome? This is a tale of a girl caught between too protectors with a paranormal twist, where secrets weave themselves into a tangled web which leads you through the story all the way until the end until you know whether Kaela is safe and whom her choice is.

Madeline Dawkins is back and this time, it is a whole new ballgame since the last time we saw her, the business is booming and with it more new cases are coming in and this time, it is poison pen letters and a very ugly divorce case which drags up a lot of memories from Madeline’s past. The first case is centred around the retirement village where her father Mack Dawkins moves a few years prior and thinking that it was something to do with her father, Madeline heads straight over to Monte Verde, but what she actually encounters is nothing to do with her father at all. Meanwhile, the lawyer next door asks Madeline for some help with a divorce case he is working on, the husband is determined to leave his soon to be ex-wife with nothing and she is terrified of him harming her more than he already has.
As the facts come in and Madeline and her team start of the preliminary stages of the investigation, there are lots of questions and not many facts, in the case of the letters, they are being targeted at the residents of the facility and contain vicious accusations and distressing elements of the past, but only some of the residents have received them, that they are aware of. Meanwhile, the sordid details of this divorce are coming in thanks to the wife wanting nothing more than removing her soon to be ex-husband from her life and living so that she doesn’t have to constantly walk on eggshells and look over he shoulder, but the more they dig, the less they like the scoundrel.
With the safety and security of both sets of vulnerable clients, Madeline knows she has to work fast on these cases before someone else is seriously hurt or compromised in such a way that would endanger both them and those around them and with the accusers becoming more vicious and borderline criminal in the case of the husband, the team have their work cut out for them, but can they breach the walls surrounding the secrets and bring into the light the necessary revelations to free the victims from a prison not of their creation, or will time run out and threats become more? This is a thrilling mystery which will hook you in and leave you wanting more as you root for the victims and speed through to find out just how big the breach of trust was and how Madeline goes about finding this out.

If you are looking for an enjoyable and easy read, this book is definitely the one for you. It is such as easy book to get into. The story is great and the characters are relatable and engaging. From the moment I started reading I was pulled into the story and passed a great afternoon reading through it all in one sitting. This is still a pretty new author to me and I am enjoying getting to know her writing style and her works. I always enjoy reading books like hers and I am excited to see what else she has to offer.

This book is unlike any other romance book that I have read before, largely in part due to the circus performer element. It was refreshing to get a book that can still surprise me, I have read so many romance books that most tend to be similar to what I have read. I enjoyed this story more because it wasn’t like that. The book and the characters were really well written. You could see the development and I found myself pulled into their journey and their lives. I was caught up in everything that was happening, all the turns the author threw out. This was a great book and a strong start to a new series. I am looking forward to the next one.

This is was very sweet romance about 2 people who have deep issues in trusting people and allowing themselves to be loved finally coming together. It’s such a heartwarming read to see the characters growth as they help each other overcome their insecurities and issues and see what the other person sees.
Ace and Ivy’s story is really special. Ivy has had to deal with a lot losing her parents and then grandparents she has been struggling to keep the family ranch afloat for years. It seems the clients she used to have don’t want to deal with a female. When Ace a retired Marine looks for a place to stay Ivy offers him one of the ranch shacks and Ace in return offers to work on the ranch. When Ivy goes to an important meeting Ace goes along for support and somehow finds himself telling the perspective client that he and Ivy are engaged. Realising that having a man on the ranch could be a way to bring back business Ivy decides to go along with this fake relationship for the sake of her business. But what happens when the fake side of the agreement turns into something real? Both Ace and Ivy have issues and insecurities but will they be able to overcome all that and finally be happy like they deserve?

Cabin Eight is the third and final book in the Millersville Series but also a stand alone. Like the two books that came before this one, Cabin Eight has plenty of questions, twists, and page turning suspense. While writing and burning notes, Miranda Diggs accidentally sets fire to a motel and things spiral (further) out of her control. To help Miranda get herself back where she wants to be (and avoid the media), her mother sends her to a resort. As you have probably guessed, the resort is not your typical run of the mill, sipping margeritas at the spa, type seclusion. The resort is actually testing Miranda’s fears and limits, as an experiment. This book really challenges the reader to look into their own life, and the choices we make daily, especially when it comes to social media. Of the three books in the series, this was my least favorite, as it felt very bizaar to me at times, but it is still a very good book on it’s own accord and highly recommended. Review By @zoltrixes

Meet Leo, a divorced man with 3 children, who under no circumstances considered taking therapy before engaging in his next relationship. He is a kind of normal type of guy, his work is to develop ideas for cellphone video games; but to his heart poems and music is what his soul is meant to make.
Such is the case that he meets Zoya on a business trip and becomes infatuated with her. After a long insistence on his part she allows the situationship to kind of develop, always showing him little of her true nature.
He puts a quite effort in order to have a real relationship with her, but due to life this is not enough for her, and so they give themselves a break.
During the break Leo finally considers going to therapy, only because the obnoxious woman let him know how unhealed scars never close, and there is where he meets Aysha. Now this woman is his therapist and she helps him to better understand the lack of self love towards himself, and how to manage his emotions without being a dummy. They have a conflict of interest and cannot get into a relationship due to the professional one they are having, so they too put on hold the possibility.
Aaannd during that time he meets Jade, another woman who is in his line of work, kind of, but she is still married and has not taken the corresponding steps in order to be able to have a new relationship, although she wants to.
Now he has 3 different women, all of them with issues unresolved, making him wait in order to be an adult and have a relationship.

Undying Light is Book One in The Stella Maris Series. The book is told from the point of view of three different characters. Each character has a unique power and secret that they are trying to hide which makes them unlikely to trust many people. As the book progresses it starts to intertwine the lives of the three and give a bigger storyline.
Character number one is Kaela, an eighteen-year-old girl that is different from other girls her age because she has healing powers. She tries her best to disguise it which can be difficult because she glows when she uses her powers. Kaela is intelligent and is just finishing college to be a nurse and wants to use her healing powers to help others.
Character number two is Seth, who is an undying, which is like a vampire. There are very few things that can kill an undying. Most of the undying were eradicated by a tyrant king so there are very few in existence. Seth is on a quest to find his possessions that have once again been stolen. He enlists some shady characters to do his dirty work for him.
Character number three is Terran, a werewolf. He is the only son of a family of old school money in which the males are all born with this special “affliction”. He works as a public servant which angers his mother who feels that he should be a wealthy lawyer and be married to the right woman. Terran leads a secret life that nobody knows about in which he brings justice to those who escape it. Kaela crosses paths with both Seth and Terran at different times and under different circumstances. She must decide if she trusts either of these men. When Kaela is attacked by a group of men at the clinic, she works at it is Terran who comes to her rescue. He is badly injured in the process, so Kaela uses her healing powers to save him. In the process, both learn of the other’s well-guarded secrets and trust the other to not tell anyone. Things are going well until Seth comes along. He recognizes her as one of his own and wants to protect her and teach her. Seth offers to protect Kaela but then Terran gets in his way. Can Kaela really trust either of these men?
A great urban fantasy book with paranormal elements, shapeshifters, magic, intrigue, suspense, secrets, tension, secret vigilante activities, and danger lurking around every corner. The characters were well written, and their back story explained in a manner that made their individual story easily understandable. Kaela, Seth, and Terran were all supernatural beings with their own unique abilities that they kept a secret. They trusted nobody and each kept to themselves. It was easy to understand why they felt as though they may not have been able to trust one another. Looking forward to book number two.

Silas Fitzpatrick has had enough of being invisible. As his sixth grade class begins he finds it hard to get adults to listen to him. He is extremely short for his age, due to lacking healthy growth hormones. His grandfather is a great man to email and gives Silas advice as to help him get along at school. Silas also has made friends who see him for who he is, and not by his size. This author has many ways of getting her point out in this story. She helps all the children see that they are so much more. I love how this book is encouraging and would recommend it to all children ages 8 and older. I must say Silas is extremely brave and patient with those around him. I love the interactions between his grandfather as well as his new friend. This should be a must read for all who have or are children. Excellent Story!

Hero Complex is Book Three in the Bluestone Series. Ivy is struggling to save the studding ranch left to her by her grandparents. When Ivy is approached by a local business owner with a proposition to save her business, she tries to hear him out. That is, until he opens his mouth and starts acting like a male chauvinistic jerk who knows more than she does and treats her like she does not know anything about how to run a ranch. That is when Ivy learns the true reasons behind why her business is failing. With her being single, it seems that men do not want to bring her their business because their old-fashioned way of thinking makes them believe that a woman is not capable of running a business.
Retired Marine, Ace, has been living on Ivy’s ranch and helping her in exchange for room and board. When he learns of Ivy’s meeting with the local businessman, he goes to the meeting with her to act as moral support. Ace gets upset at the way Ivy is being treated and, in an effort, to placate the businessman he informs him that Ivy and he are engaged and that he is helping her run her business. Now the rumor is circulating in the small community that Ivy and Ace are engaged, and things begin to get messy. Ivy is horrified about the rumors but goes along with them because she needs to save her ranch.
As Ivy and Ace play the part of being engaged the sparks fly between them. Ivy is attracted to Ace but wishes that he would stop trying to save her all the time. She is independent, smart, and strong so she does not feel as though she needs a hero running to her rescue. Ace is attracted to Ivy as well, so he only wants to protect her. He would love for the relationship to be more but feels as though his battle scars will turn off Ivy. Both Ivy and Ace do their part in their engagement and try to fight off the intense chemistry between them but find the attraction becoming more undeniable as time goes by. Can there ever be a real relationship between Ivy and Ace?
I loved this entire series and have fallen in love with this author’s writing. I could not put the book down and found the storyline and the characters amazing. The characters of Ivy and Ace are believable and relatable. Ivy sees herself as an independent and strong woman who does not need a man running in to save her. When Ace tries to come to her rescue, she is offended yet realizes that she must accept help, or her ranch will fail. Ivy has trauma from her past that she needs to deal with and is carrying a huge secret that she has not told anyone about. This secret could prevent her from having the future life she deserves. Ace feels damaged and unlovable due to the scars he suffered during his time as a Marine. Neither Ivy nor Ace feel that they are good enough for the other. The events that ensue are gut wrenching and take you on a rollercoaster ride of emotions. Be prepared to laugh, cry, scream, and maybe even swear out loud a bit as Ivy and Ace struggle through the demons from their past and try to push forward.

This M/M contemporary romance is the first in a series by Autumn Sand. There are dark elements in this story that the writer prefaces the novel with a disclaimer. This book is full of emotions; lust, love, anger and hatred. The characters try to cope with and without each other, and while they have a strong bond; life doesn’t always fall into place for them. The book is short, fast-paced and a good read.
Love Tools is Book One in the Bluestone Series. Lily has recently moved from London to the small town of Bluestone County after inheriting her father’s hardware store. Although Lily was estranged from her father and had not since him since she was a small child, she took the move as a fresh start. She needed to escape from the life she had in London. The city was too busy, her apartment was cramped, and she felt like she was going nowhere in her job. Plus, she found her mother to be too overbearing, and she found herself in one bad relationship after another. The excuse to run her estranged father’s hardware store clear across the country came as a welcome excuse to flee from the life she was hating and start over.
When Lilly arrives in Bluestone, she throws herself into cleaning the hardware store and preparing for it to reopen. Lily is wrapped up in cleaning the store when a drop-dead gorgeous cowboy walks into the store. She finds it hard to take her eyes off of him, but as soon as he opens his mouth the attraction rating drops drastically. Lily refuses to get into any sort of a relationship, especially with a man as annoying as Jake. Besides, she figures that nobody that good looking would be interested in her anyhow. Jake cannot seem to help messing up every time he opens his mouth but finds he is intentionally saying things to get a rise out of Lily. Although he has all but sworn off relationships, he finds Lily not only sexy as all get go, but he loves her sassy attitude.
Lily finds that she cannot seem to escape Jake who seems to be everywhere, including at her new friend, Sam’s, place. The two begin to spend time together as Jake helps her with prepping the hardware store for the reopening. As they spend time together Lily lets her guard down a bit and opens up to Jake about her relationship with her father. She is seeking answers about why her father abandoned her and what type of person he was. Why did he move across the country to run a hardware store in the middle of nowhere? Jake and her father were close so he may be able to give her some answers. As they spend more time together the chemistry between Lily and Jake intensifies and the attraction becomes undeniable.
This book was well written, and the characters were lovable and relatable. Lily and Jake both have trauma from their pasts that have left them feeling a bit broken. Both have all but sworn off relationships and have chosen to focus on other projects. For Lily it was the hardware store and for Jake it was the ranch. Jake did not know what love was and had only wanted casual relationships until he met Lily. No woman had ever made Jake feel like he could not live without her until Lily came along. Now he needs to convince Lily that he is serious about her and will not treat her like her exes had in the past. Lily has had one bad relationship after another and is scared to let her guard down for fear that Jake will also end up hurting her. The hurt, drama, angst, and betrayals from their pasts must all be worked through before either can be fully capable of having a healthy relationship. This was a wholesome love story with sexy cowboys in a small-town setting with a bit of sass, humor, and witty banter sprinkled throughout. A fantastic read that immediately made me want to read other books in the series.

Such a cute story. Very easy to read. Teaches kids some basic things about Science as well as basic plant care. My 2 yr old nephew let me read this to him and he sat still and engaged in the story. I would suggest this for a classroom library or just to have at home, for sure.

Hero Complex (Bluestone Series Book 3) by Isobel Reed. I love this series. Its a fun romance series that will keep you flipping pages until you are done. Its the story of Ivy who is trying to save her studding ranch that has been in the family forever. With Ivy being single men don’t trust her to use her ranch because they are old fashioned. Ivy will do whatever it takes to save her ranch including pretending to be engaged to Ace, a handsome retired marine who has his fair share of battle scars. Ivy doesn’t really mind pretending to be in a relationship with Ace but he is constantly trying to “save” her and she doesn’t need saving. From the minute they start their pretend relationship sparks fly and even though they drive each other crazy they are also crazy attracted to one another. Will Ivy be able to pull of the hoax of being engaged to Ace to save her ranch and will they let down their guard long enough to have an actual romance. Read Hero Complex to find out! I am still reeling from this heart-wrenching and steamy second-chance romance. Elle has been through so much heartache and so much pain. Blake has been drowning all his pain for a long time. Domestic violence is a tough thing to read about and knowing that women find themselves in scary horrible situations where they are convinced no one loves them and nothing can save them, is horrible. Coming home to her family, who welcome her with open arms and finding a purpose sets Elle on a path of healing. I cannot wait for S.E. Reichert to publish the next story in the series!
